The emergence of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMD) as crystalline atomically thin semiconductors has created a tremendous amount of scientific and technological interest. Many novel device concepts have been proposed and realized (1-3). Nonetheless, progress in k-space investigations of ground/excited state electronic structures has been slow due to the challenge to create large scale, laterally homogeneous samples. Taking advantage of recent advancements in chemical vapor deposition, here we create a wafer-size MoS2 monolayer with well-aligned lateral orientation for advanced electron spectroscopy studies (4-6). Low energy electron diffraction and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) demonstrate atomically clean surfaces with in-plane crystalline orientation. The ground state and excited state electronic structures are probed using scanning tunneling spectroscopy (STS), angle-resolved photoemission (ARPES) and time-resolved (tr-)ARPES. In addition to mapping out the momentum-space quasiparticle band structure in the valence and conduction bands, we unveil ultrafast excited state dynamics, including inter- and intra-valley carrier scattering and a rapid downward energy shift by ~ 0.2eV lower than the initial free carrier state at Sigma point.
The optical properties of MoS2 monolayers are dominated by excitons, but for spectrally broad optical transitions in monolayers exfoliated directly onto SiO2 substrates detailed information on excited exciton states is inaccessible. Encapsulation in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) allows approaching the homogenous exciton linewidth, but interferences in the van der Waals heterostructures make direct comparison between transitions in optical spectra with different oscillator strength more challenging. Here we reveal in reflectivity and in photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy the presence of …
Monolayer transition metal dichalcogenide semiconductors, with versatile experimentally accessible exciton species, offer an interesting platform for investigating the interaction between excitons and a Fermi sea of charges. Using hexagonal boron nitride encapsulated monolayer MoSe2, we study the impact of charge density tuning on the ground and excited Rydberg states in the atomic layer. Consistent excitonpolaron behavior is revealed in both photoluminescence and reflection spectra of the A exciton 1s (A:1s) Rydberg state, in contrast to previous studies. The A:2s Rydberg state provides an op…
Transitions metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) are direct semiconductors in the atomic monolayer (ML) limit with fascinating optical and spin-valley properties. The strong optical absorption of up to 20 % for a single ML is governed by excitons, electron-hole pairs bound by Coulomb attraction. Excited exciton states in MoSe$_2$ and MoTe$_2$ monolayers have so far been elusive due to their low oscillator strength and strong inhomogeneous broadening. Here we show that encapsulation in hexagonal boron nitride results in emission line width of the A:1$s$ exciton below 1.5 meV and 3 meV in our MoSe$_2$ a…
2D materials have intriguing quantum phenomena that are distinctively different from their bulk counterparts. Recently, epitaxially synthesized wafer-scale 2D metals, composed of elemental atoms, are attracting attention not only for their potential applications but also for exotic quantum effects such as superconductivity. By mapping momentum-resolved electronic states using time-resolved and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), we reveal that monolayer Ag confined between bilayer graphene and SiC is a large gap (> 1 eV) 2D semiconductor, consistent with GW-corrected density fun…
We experimentally demonstrate dressing of the excited exciton states by a continuously tunable Fermi sea of free charge carriers in a monolayer semiconductor. It represents an unusual scenario of two-particle excitations of charged excitons previously inaccessible in conventional material systems. We identify excited state trions, accurately determine their binding energies in the zero-density limit for both electron- and hole-doped regimes, and observe emerging many-body phenomena at elevated doping. Combining experiment and theory we gain access to the intra-exciton coupling facilitated by t…
We experimentally study the radii of excitons in hBN-encapsulated WS2 monolayers by means of magneto-optical reflectance spectroscopy at cryogenic temperatures in magnetic fields up to 29 T. We observe field-induced energy shifts of the exciton ground and excited states due to valley Zeeman and diamagnetic effects. We find the g factor of the first excited state of $-4.2(+/-0.1) to be essentially equal to that of the ground state of -4.35(+/-0.1). From diamagnetic shifts we determine the root mean square radii of the excitons. The radius of the first excited state is found to be 5-8 nm and tha…
We report the experimental observation of radiative recombination from Rydberg excitons in a two-dimensional semiconductor, monolayer WSe2, encapsulated in hexagonal boron nitride. Excitonic emission up to the 4s excited state is directly observed in photoluminescence spectroscopy in an out-of-plane magnetic field up to 31 Tesla. We confirm the progressively larger exciton size for higher energy excited states through diamagnetic shift measurements. This also enables us to estimate the 1s exciton binding energy to be about 170 meV, which is significantly smaller than most previous reports. The…
Strong optical nonlinearities play a central role in realizing quantum photonic technologies. In solid state systems, exciton-polaritons, which result from the hybridization of material excitations and cavity photons, are an attractive candidate to realize such nonlinearities. Here, the interaction between excitons forms the basis of the polaritonic nonlinearity. While the interaction between ground state excitons generates a notable optical nonlinearity, the strength of such ground state interactions is generally not sufficient to reach the regime of quantum nonlinear optics and strong single…
Auger recombination in semiconductors is a many-body phenomenon in which recombination of electrons and holes is accompanied by excitation of other charge carriers. Being nonradiative, it is detrimental to light emission. The excess energy of the excited carriers is normally rapidly converted to heat, making Auger processes difficult to probe directly. Here, we employ a technique in which the Auger-excited carriers are detected by their ability to tunnel out of the semiconductor through a thin barrier, generating a current. We employ vertical van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures with monolayer…
Exciton binding energy and excited states in monolayers of tungsten diselenide (WSe2) are investigated using the combined linear absorption and two-photon photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy. The exciton binding energy is determined to be 0.37eV, which is about an order of magnitude larger than that in III-V semiconductor quantum wells and renders the exciton excited states observable even at room temperature. The exciton excitation spectrum with both experimentally determined one- and two-photon active states is distinct from the simple two-dimensional (2D) hydrogenic model. This result…
We study theoretically the Coulomb interaction between excitons in transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) monolayers. We calculate direct and exchange interaction for both ground and excited states of excitons. The screening of the Coulomb interaction, specific to monolayer structures, leads to the unique behavior of the exciton-exciton scattering for excited states, characterized by the non-monotonic dependence of the interaction as function of the transferred momentum. We find that the nontrivial screening enables the description of TMD exciton interaction strength by approximate formula whic…
We analyze the effect of electron-phonon coupling on photoemission properties and ultrafast response of doped monolayer MoS2. The analysis is based on combined DFT and many-body (Eliashberg theory) approaches. In particular, we have calculated the electronic and phonon spectra, the electron-phonon coupling and the electronic spectral function of the system at different values of doping. We have also analyzed the emissive properties and the response of the system to femtosecond (fs) laser pulses. It is shown that position of the emission peak of undoped system is in agreement with the experimen…
Calculations combining first-principles electron-phonon ($e$-ph) interactions with the Boltzmann equation enable studies of ultrafast carrier and phonon dynamics. However, in materials with weak Coulomb screening, electrons and holes form bound excitons and their scattering processes become correlated, posing additional challenges for modeling nonequilibrium physics. Here we show calculations of ultrafast exciton dynamics and related time-domain spectroscopies using $ab~initio$ exciton-phonon (ex-ph) interactions together with an excitonic Boltzmann equation. Starting from the nonequilibrium e…
The strong light emission and absorption exhibited by single atomic layer transitional metal dichalcogenides in the visible to near-infrared wavelength range makes them attractive for optoelectronic applications. In this work, using two-pulse photovoltage correlation technique, we show that monolayer molybdenum disulfide photodetector can have intrinsic response times as short as 3 ps implying photodetection bandwidths as wide as 300 GHz. The fast photodetector response is a result of the short electron-hole and exciton lifetimes in this material. Recombination of photoexcited carriers in most…
In this work we present a study on the impact of various intrinsic deformations like ripples, twist, wrap on the electronic properties of ultra-short monolayer MoS2 channels. The effect of deformation (3-7o twist or wrap and 0.3-0.7 buckling amplitude) on a 3.5 nm planar monolayer MoS2 MOSFET is evaluated by the density functional theory and the non-equilibrium Green`s function (DFT-NEGF) approach. We study the channel density of states, transmission spectra and the ID-VD characteristics under the varying conditions, with focus on the negative differential resistance (NDR) behavior. Our result…
2H phase (trigonal prismatic D3h) of layered two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have attracted a lot of interests due to the superior electronic and optoelectronic properties. However, flexible electronic devices and thermoelectric performances based on 2H phase have been potentially limited by the strain sensitive electronic band gap and high lattice thermal conductivity (kappa_L). Here, we predict and calculate two 1T (octahedral Oh) phase monolayer telluride materials SnTe2 and SiTe2 with soft mechanics, ultralow kappa_L and electronic properties. The calculated in…
Bulk layered MX2 transition metal chalcogenides (M = Mo, W and X = S, Se) are known to exhibit an indirect to direct band gap transition as the number of layers is reduced. Previous time-resolved work has principally focused on the investigation of the transient evolution of the band structure after photo-excitation, but additional information on the dynamics of the concomitant lattice rearrangement is needed to fully understand this phenomenon. Here, ultrafast electron diffraction is used to probe the atomic motion and bond dilation in monolayer WSe2 with femtosecond temporal resolution. The …
We calculate the rate of non-radiative, Forster-type energy transfer (ET) from an excited epitaxial quantum well (QW) to a proximal monolayer of semiconductor nanocrystal quantum dots (QDs). Different electron-hole configurations in the QW are considered as a function of temperature and excited electron-hole density. A comparison of the theoretically determined ET rate and QW radiative recombination rate shows that, depending on the specific conditions, the ET rate is comparable to or even greater than the radiative recombination rate. Such efficient Forster ET is promising for the implementat…
We present a method to measure the magnetic properties of monolayers and ultra-thin films of magnetic material. The method is based on low energy muon spin rotation and $β$-detected nuclear magnetic resonance measurements. A spin probe is used as a "proximal" magnetometer by implanting it in the substrate, just below the magnetic material. We calculate the expected magnetic field distribution sensed by the probe and discuss its temperature and implantation depth dependencies. This method is highly suitable for measuring the magnetic properties of monolayers of single molecule magnets, but can …
We report on the exciton and trion density dynamics in a single layer of MoSe$_2$, resonantly excited and probed using three-pulse four-wave mixing (FWM), at temperatures from 300K to 77K . A multi-exponential third-order response function for amplitude and phase of the heterodyne-detected FWM signal including four decay processes is used to model the data. We provide a consistent interpretation within the intrinsic band structure, not requiring the inclusion of extrinsic effects. We find an exciton radiative lifetime in the sub-picosecond range consistent to what has been recently reported. A…
We utilize cavity-enhanced extinction spectroscopy to directly quantify the optical absorption of defects in MoS$_2$ generated by helium ion bombardment. We achieve hyperspectral imaging of specific defect patterns with a detection limit below 0.01% extinction, corresponding to a detectable defect density below $10^{11}$ cm$^{-2}$. The corresponding spectra reveal a broad sub-gap absorption, being consistent with theoretical predictions related to sulfur vacancy-bound excitons in MoS$_2$. Our results highlight cavity-enhanced extinction spectroscopy as efficient means for the detection of opti…
Engineering the electromagnetic environment of a nanoscale light emitter by a photonic cavity can significantly enhance its spontaneous emission rate through cavity quantum electrodynamics in the Purcell regime. This effect can greatly reduce the lasing threshold of the emitter, providing the ultimate low-threshold laser system with small footprint, low power consumption and ultrafast modulation. A state-of-the-art ultra-low threshold nanolaser has been successfully developed though embedding quantum dots into photonic crystal cavity (PhCC). However, several core challenges impede the practica…
We present a detailed study of the ground-state magnetic structure of ultrathin Fe films on the surface of fcc Ir(001). We use the spin-cluster expansion technique in combination with the relativistic disordered local moment scheme to obtain parameters of spin models and then determine the favored magnetic structure of the system by means of a mean field approach and atomistic spin dynamics simulations. For the case of a single monolayer of Fe we find that layer relaxations very strongly influence the ground-state spin configurations, whereas Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions and biquadr…
The optical properties of atomically thin transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) are dominated by Coulomb bound quasi-particles, such as excitons, trions, and biexcitons. Due to the number and density of possible states, attributing different spectral peaks to the specific origin can be difficult. In particular, there has been much conjecture around the presence, binding energy and/or nature of biexcitons in these materials. In this work, we remove any ambiguity in identifying and separating the optically excited biexciton in monolayer WS2 using two-quantum multidimensional coherent spectros…
In this study, terahertz (THz) absorption and transmission of monolayer MoS$_{2}$ was calculated under different carrier concentrations. Results showed that the THz absorption of monolayer MoS$_{2}$ is very small even under high carrier concentrations and large incident angle. Equivalent loss of the THz absorption is the total sum of reflection and absorption that is one to three grades lower than that of graphene. The monolayer MoS$_{2}$ transmission is much larger than that of the traditional GaAs and InAs two-dimensional electron gas. The field-effect tubular structure formed by the monolay…
We have experimentally determined the energies of the ground and first four excited excitonic states of the fundamental optical transition in monolayer WS2, a model system for the growing class of atomically thin two-dimensional semiconductor crystals. From the spectra, we establish a large exciton binding energy of 0.32 eV and a pronounced deviation from the usual hydrogenic Rydberg series of energy levels of the excitonic states. We explain both of these results using a microscopic theory in which the non-local nature of the effective dielectric screening modifies the functional form of the …
The newly developed two-dimensional layered materials provide perfect platform for valley-spintronics exploration. To determine the prospect of utilizing the valley degree of freedom, it is of great importance to directly detect and understand the valley dynamics in these materials. Here, the exciton valley dynamics in monolayer WSe$_2$ is investigated by the two-color pump-probe magneto-optical Kerr technique. By tuning the probe photon energy in resonance with the free excitons and trions, the valley relaxation time of different excitonic states in monolayer WSe$_2$ is determined. Valley rel…
Unconventional emissions from exciton and trion in monolayer WS2 are studied by photoexcitation. Excited by 532nm laser beam, the carrier species in the monolayer WS2 are affected by the excess electrons escaping from photoionization of donor impurity, the concentration of which varies with different locations of the sample. Simply increasing the excitation power at room temperature, the excess electron and thus the intensity ratio of excited trion and exciton can be continuously tuned over a large range from 0.1 to 7.7. Furthermore, this intensity ratio can also be manipulated by varying temp…
We demonstrate that topological-chiral magnetic interactions can play a key role for magnetic ground states in ultrathin films at surfaces. Based on density functional theory we show that significant chiral-chiral interactions occur in hexagonal Mn monolayers due to large topological orbital moments which interact with the emergent magnetic field. Due to the competition with higher-order exchange interactions superposition states of spin spirals such as the 2Q state or a distorted 3Q state arise. Simulations of spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscopy images suggest that the distorted 3Q s…
Understanding the ultrafast coupling and relaxation mechanisms between valleys in transition metal dichalcogenide semiconductors is of crucial interest for future valleytronic devices. Recent ultrafast pump-probe experiments showed an unintuitive significant bleaching at the excitonic $B$ transition after optical excitation of the energetically lower excitonic $A$ transition. Here, we present a possible microscopic explanation for this surprising effect. It is based on the joint action of exchange coupling and phonon-mediated thermalization into dark exciton states and does not involve a popul…
We demonstrate the continuous and reversible tuning of the optical band gap of suspended monolayer MoS2 membranes by as much as 500 meV by applying very large biaxial strains. By using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to grow crystals that are highly impermeable to gas, we are able to apply a pressure difference across suspended membranes to induce biaxial strains. We observe the effect of strain on the energy and intensity of the peaks in the photoluminescence (PL) spectrum, and find a linear tuning rate of the optical band gap of 99 meV/%. This method is then used to study the PL spectra of b…
We report many-body perturbation theory calculations of excited-state properties of distorted 1-T diamond-chain monolayer rhenium disulfide (ReS2) and diselenide (ReSe2). Electronic self-energy substantially enhances their quasiparticle band gaps and, surprisingly, converts monolayer ReSe2 to a direct-gap semiconductor, which was, however, regarded to be an indirect one by density-functional-theory calculations. Their optical absorption spectra are dictated by strongly bound excitons. Unlike hexagonal structures, the lowest-energy bright exciton of distorted 1-T ReS2 exhibits a perfect figure-…
Atomically precise lateral heterojunctions based on transition metal dichalcogenides provide a new platform for exploring exciton Mott transition in one-dimension. To investigate the intrinsically non-equilibrium Mott transition, we employed ultrafast microscopy with ~ 200 fs temporal resolution to image the transport of different exciton phases in a type II WSe2-WS1.16Se0.84 lateral heterostructure. These measurements visualized the extremely rapid expansion of a highly non-equilibrium electron-hole (e-h) plasma phase with a Fermi velocity up to 3.2*10^6 cm*s-1. An abrupt first-order exciton …
Two-dimensional (2D) layered transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have emerged as promising materials for electronic, optoelectronic, and valleytronic applications. Recent work suggests drastic changes of the band gap and exciton binding energies of photo-excited TMDs with ultrafast non-radiative relaxation processes effectively heating the crystal lattice. Such phenomena have not been considered in the context of optoelectronic devices yet. We resolve corresponding ultrafast photo-conductance dynamics within monolayer MoS2 and demonstrate that a bolometric contribution dominates the overal…
In this letter, we present non-degenerate ultrafast optical pump-probe studies of the carrier recombination dynamics in MoS$_{2}$ monolayers. By tuning the probe to wavelengths much longer than the exciton line, we make the probe transmission sensitive to the total population of photoexcited electrons and holes. Our measurement reveals two distinct time scales over which the photoexcited electrons and holes recombine; a fast time scale that lasts $\sim$2 ps and a slow time scale that lasts longer than $\sim$100 ps. The temperature and the pump fluence dependence of the observed carrier dynamic…
Squeezing bubbles and impurities out of interlayer spaces by applying force through a few-layer graphene capping layer leads to van der Waals heterostructures with ultra-flat structure free from random electrostatic potential arising from charged impurities. Without the graphene capping layer, a squeezing process with an AFM tip induces applied-force-dependent charges of n ~ 2 x 10^12 cm^-2 uN^-1, resulting in strong intensity of trions in photoluminescence spectra of MoSe2 at low temperature. We found that a hBN/MoSe2/hBN prepared with the "modified nano-squeezing method" shows a strong excit…

The subthreshold leakage current in transistors has become a critical limiting factor for realizing ultra-low-power transistors. The leakage current is predominantly dictated by the long thermal tail of the charge carriers. We propose a solution to this problem by using narrow bandwidth semiconductors for limiting the thermionic leakage current by filtering out the high energy carriers. We specifically demonstrate this solution in transistors with laterally confined monolayer MoSi2N4 with different passivation serving as channel material. Remarkably, we find that the proposed narrow bandwidth …
Monolayer transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) have recently emerged as possible candidates for valleytronic applications, as the spin and valley pseudospin are directly coupled and stabilized by a large spin splitting. In these semiconducting materials, optically excited electron-hole pairs form tightly Coulomb-bound excitons with large binding energies. The selection rules for excitonic transitions allow for direct optical generation of a valley-polarized exciton population using resonant excitation. Here, we investigate the exciton valley dynamics in monolayers of three different TMDCs …
Atomic monolayers of transition metal dichalcogenides represent an emerging material platform for the implementation of ultra compact quantum light emitters via strain engineering. In this framework, we discuss experimental results on creation of strain induced single photon sources using a WSe2 monolayer on a silver substrate, coated with a very thin dielectric layer. We identify quantum emitters which are formed at various locations in the sample. The emission is highly linearly polarized, stable in linewidth and decay times down to 300 ps are observed. We provide numerical calculations of o…
We present the micro-photoluminescence ($μ$PL) and micro-reflectance contrast spectroscopy studies on thin films of MoSe2 with layer thicknesses ranging from a monolayer (1L) up to 5L. The thickness dependent evolution of the ground and excited state excitonic transitions taking place at various points of the Brillouin zone is determined. Temperature activated energy shifts and linewidth broadenings of the excitonic resonances in 1L, 2L and 3L flakes are accounted for by using standard formalisms previously developed for semiconductors. A peculiar shape of the optical response of the ground st…
We predict a fast relaxation of photo-excited carriers in monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), which is mediated by the emission of longitudinal optical (LO) phonons. By evaluating Born effective charges for ${\rm MoS_2, MoSe_2,WS_2}$, and ${\rm WSe_2}$, we find that, due to the polar coupling of electrons with LO phonons, the relaxation times for hot electrons and holes are of the order of a few ps.
Recently in [Phys. Rev. B 99, 241301(R) (2019)] tensor networks build upon logical circuits were briefly introduced to retrieve exciton and biexciton states. Compared to a conventional approach the tensor network methods scales logarithmic instead of linear in the grid points of the Brioullin zone and linear instead of exponential in the number of electrons and holes. This enables calculations with higher precision on the full Brioullin zone than previously possible. In this paper extensive details for an efficient implementation and the corresponding mathematical background are presented. In …
A theoretical investigation on the coherent Dirac-like quasiparticle dynamics in monolayer $\text{MoS}_2$ under an ultrashort optical pulse irradiation is presented. Particularly, we remain specific features of ML-MDS associated with the mass asymmetry $α$ and topological aspect $β$ parameters resulting in Schr$\stackrel{..}{\text{o}}$dinger type wavevector of charge carriers. The direct band gap, spin-resolved valence band spilitting and valley degeneracy breaking due to strong spin-orbit coupling affect ultrafast dynamics of Dirac fermions. Because the duration of the optical pulse is less t…
Carrier dynamics in monolayer MoS2 have been investigated using broadband femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy (FTAS). A tunable pump pulse was used while a broadband probe pulse revealed ground and excited state carrier dynamics. Interestingly, for pump wavelengths both resonant and non-resonant with the A and B excitons, we observe a broad ground state bleach around 2.9 eV, with decay components similar to A and B. Associating this bleach with the band nesting region between K and Gamma in the band structure indicates significant k-space delocalization and overlap among excitonic wa…
Monolayers of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) exhibit an exceptionally strong Coulomb interaction between charge carriers due to the two-dimensional carrier confinement in connection with weak dielectric screening. High densities of excited charge carriers in the various band-structure valleys cause strong many-body renormalizations that influence both the electronic properties and the optical response of the material. We investigate electronic and optical properties of the typical monolayer TMDCs MoS$_2$, MoSe$_2$, WS$_2$ and WSe$_2$ in the presence of excited carriers by solving sem…
Charged excitons called trions play an important role in the fundamental valley dynamics in the newly emerging 2D semiconductor materials. We used ultrafast pump- probe spectroscopy to study the valley trion dynamics in a MoSe$_2$ monolayer grown by using chemical vapor deposition. The dynamics display an ultrafast trion formation followed by a non-exponential decay. The measurements at different pump fluences show that the trion decay dynamics become slower as the excitation density increases. The observed trion dynamics and the associated density dependence are a result of the trapping by tw…
Today, 2D semiconductor materials have been extended into the nitrogen group: phosphorene, arsenene, antimonene and even nitrogene. Motivated by them, based upon first-principles density functional calculations, we propose a new two-dimensional phosphorus nitride (PN) structure that is stable well above the room temperature, due to its extremely high cohesive energy. Unlike phosphorene, PN structure is resistant to high temperature oxidation. The structure is predicted to be a semiconductor with a wide, indirect band gap of 2.64 eV. More interestingly, the phosphorus nitride monolayer experien…
The transient acoustic response of a free-standing, polycrystalline thin Au film upon femtosecond optical excitation has been studied by time-resolved Debye-Scherrer X-ray diffraction using ultrashort Cu K$_α$ X-ray pulses from a laser-driven plasma X-ray source. The temporal strain evolution has been determined from the transient shifts of multiple Bragg diffraction peaks. The experimental data are in good agreement with the results of calculations based on the two-temperature model and an acoustic model assuming uni-axial strain propagation in the laser-excited thin film.
Transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers are promising candidates for exploring new electronic and optical phenomena and for realizing atomically thin optoelectronic devices. They host tightly bound electron-hole pairs (excitons) that can be efficiently excited by resonant light fields. Here, we demonstrate that a single monolayer of molybdenum diselenide (MoSe2) can dramatically modify light transmission near the excitonic resonance, acting as an electrically switchable mirror that reflects up to 85% of incident light at cryogenic temperatures. This high reflectance is a direct consequence …
