In this paper, we completely classify almost Yamabe solitons on hypersurfaces in Euclidean spaces arisen from the position vector field. Some results of almost Yamabe solitons with a concurrent vector field and almost Yamabe solitons on submanifolds in Riemannian manifolds equipped with a concurrent vector field are also presented. In this paper, we investigate the geometry and classification of three-dimensional CR Yamabe solitons. In the compact case, we show that any 3-dimensional CR Yamabe soliton must have constant Tanaka-Webster scalar curvature; we also obtain a classification under the assumption that their potential functions are in the kernel of the CR Paneitz operator. In this paper, we look for properties of gradient Yamabe solitons on top of warped product manifolds. Utilizing the maximum principle, we find lower bound estimates for both the potential function of the soliton and the scalar curvature of the warped product.
