In this paper we study the existence of multiple nontrivial positive weak solutions to the following system of problems. \begin{align*} \begin{split} -Δ_{p}u-Δ_q u &= λf(x)|u|^{r-2}u+ν\frac{1-α}{2-α-β}h(x) |u|^{-α}|v|^{1-β}\,\,\mbox{in}\,\,Ω,\\ -Δ_{p}v-Δ_q v &= μg(x)|v|^{r-2}v+ν\frac{1-β}{2-α-β}h(x) |u|^{1-α}|v|^{-β}\,\,\mbox{in}\,\,Ω,\\ u,v&>0\,\,\mbox{in}\,\,Ω,\\ u= v &= 0\,\, \mbox{on}\,\, \partialΩ\end{split} \end{align*} where (C):~$0<α<1,\;0<β<1,$ $2-α-β<q<\frac{N(p-1)}{N-p}<p<r<p^*$, with $p^*=\frac{Np}{N-p}$. We will guarantee the existence of a solution in the Nehari manifold. Further by using the Lusternik-Schnirelman category we will prove the existence of at least $\text{cat}(Ω)+1$ number of solutions.
A class of generalized Schrödinger elliptic problems involving concave-convex and other types of nonlinearities is studied. A reasonable overview about the set of solutions is provided when the parameters involved in the equation assume different real values.
In this paper, we consider a fractional p-Laplacian system with both concave-convex nonlinearities and sign-changing weight functions in bounded domains. In this paper, we prove multiplicity of solutions for a class of quasilinear problems in $ \mathbb{R}^{N} $ involving variable exponents and nonlinearities of concave-convex type. The main tools used are variational methods, more precisely, Ekeland's variational principle and Nehari manifolds.
We consider a nonlinear Dirichlet problem driven by the $(p,q)$-Laplacian with $1<q<p$. The reaction is parametric and exhibits the competing effects of a singular term and of concave and convex nonlinearities. We are looking for positive solutions and prove a bifurcation-type theorem describing in a precise way the set of positive solutions as the parameter varies. Moreover, we show the existence of a minimal positive solution and we study it as a function of the parameter.
In this paper, by utilizing a newly established variational principle on convex sets, we provide an existence and multiplicity result for a class of semilinear elliptic problems defined on the whole $\mathbb R^N$ with nonlinearities involving sublinear and superlinear terms. We shall impose no growth restriction on the nonlinear term and consequently our problem can be super-critical by means of Sobolev spaces.
We obtain new concavity results, up to a suitable transformation, for a class of quasi-linear equations in a convex domain involving the $p$-Laplace operator and a general nonlinearity satisfying concavity type assumptions. This provides an extension of results previously known in the literature only for the torsion and the eigenfunction equations. In the semilinear case $p = 2$ the results are already new since they include new admissible nonlinearities.

The aim of this paper is to provide the first application of Theorem 3 of [2] in a case where the dependence of the underlying equation from the real parameter is not of affine type.
In this paper we prove the existence of infinitely many nontrivial solutions for the class of $(p,\, q)$ fractional elliptic equations involving concave-critical nonlinearities in bounded domains in $\mathbb{R}^N$. Further, when the nonlinearity is of convex-critical type, we establish the multiplicity of nonnegative solutions using variational methods. In particular, we show the existence of at least $cat_Ω(Ω)$ nonnegative solutions.
We prove the existence of infinitely many solutions to a class of non-symmetric Dirichlet problems with exponential nonlinearities. Here the domain $Ω\subset\subset \mathbb{R}^{2l}$ where $2l$ is the order of the equation. Considered are the problem with no symmetry requirements on the domain, the radial problem on an annulus, and the radial problem on a ball with a Hardy potential term.
In this paper, we consider the following quasilinear Schrödinger equation \begin{align*} -Δu-uΔ(u^{2})=k(x)\left\vert u\right\vert ^{q-2}u-h(x)\left\vert u\right\vert ^{s-2}u\text{, }u\in D^{1,2}(\mathbb{R}^{N})\text{,} \end{align*} where $1<q<2<s<+\infty$. Unlike most results in the literature, the exponent $s$ here is allowed to be supercritical $s>2\cdot2^{\ast}$. By taking advantage of geometric properties of a nonlinear transformation $f$ and a variant of Clark's theorem, we get a sequence of solutions with negative energy in a space smaller than $D^{1,2}(\mathbb{R}^{N})$. Nonnegative sol…

It is established existence of ground and bound state solutions for Choquard equation considering concave-convex nonlinearities in the following form $$ \begin{array}{rcl} -Δu +V(x) u &=& (I_α* |u|^p)|u|^{p-2}u+ λ|u|^{q-2}u, \, u \in H^1(\mathbb{R}^{N}), \end{array} $$ where $λ> 0, N \geq 3, α\in (0, N)$. The potential $V$ is a continuous function and $I_α$ denotes the standard Riesz potential. Assume also that $1 < q < 2,~2_α < p < 2^*_α$ where $2_α=(N+α)/N$, $2_α=(N+α)/(N-2)$. Our main contribution is to consider a specific condition on the parameter $λ> 0$ taking into account the nonlinear …

In this paper we consider a class of critical concave convex Ambrosetti-Prodi type problems for the fractional $p$-Laplacian operator. By applying the Linking Theorem and the Mountain Pass Theorem as well, the interaction of the nonlinearities with the first eigenvalue of fractional $p$-Laplacian will be used to prove existence and multiplicity of solutions.

We are concerned with a Liouville-type equation with exponential nonlinearities on a compact surface which describes the mean field equation of the equilibrium turbulence with arbitrarily signed vortices. We provide the first multiplicity result for this class of equations by using Morse theory.
In this paper we study the existence of at least two positive weak solutions for an inhomogeneous fourth order equation with Navier boundary data involving nonlinearities of critical growth with a bifurcation parameter $λ$ in $\mathbb{R}^{2m}$. We establish here the lower and upper bound for $λ$ which determine multiplicity and non-existence respectively.
We consider a class of parametric Schrödinger equations driven by the fractional $p$-Laplacian operator and involving continuous positive potentials and nonlinearities with subcritical or critical growth. By using variational methods and Ljusternik-Schnirelmann theory, we study the existence, multiplicity and concentration of positive solutions for small values of the parameter.
It is established existence, multiplicity and asymptotic behavior of positive solutions for a quasilinear elliptic problem driven by the $Φ$-Laplacian operator. One of these solutions is obtained as ground state solution by applying the well known Nehari method. The semilinear term in the quasilinear equation is a concave-convex function which presents a critical behavior at infinity. The concentration compactness principle is used in order to recover the compactness required in variational methods.
The theory of elliptic equations involving singular nonlinearities is well studied topic but the interaction of singular type nonlinearity with nonlocal nonlinearity in elliptic problems has not been investigated so far. In this article, we study the very singular and doubly nonlocal singular problem $(P_λ)$(See below). Firstly, we establish a very weak comparison principle and the optimal Sobolev regularity. Next using the critical point theory of non-smooth analysis and the geometry of the energy functional, we establish the global multiplicity of positive weak solutions.
A $p$-Laplacian elliptic problem in the presence of both strongly singular and $(p-1)$-superlinear nonlinearities is considered. We employ bifurcation theory, approximation techniques and sub-supersolution method to establish the existence of an unbounded branch of positive solutions, which is bounded in positive $λ-$direction and bifurcates from infinity at $λ=0$. As consequence of the bifurcation result, we determine intervals of existence, nonexistence and, in particular cases, global multiplicity.
In this paper, we study the existence and multiplicity results of nontrivial positive solutions to a quasilinear elliptic equation in $\RN$, when $N\geq2$, as \begin{equation} \Lp u+u^{p-1}=λ\hspace{0.2mm}k(x)u^{r-1}-h(x)u^{q-1}.\nonumber \end{equation} Here, $h(x),k(x)>0$ are Lebesgue measurable functions, $1<p<q<\infty$, $p<r<\min\{p^*,q\}$ if $p<N$ while $p<r<q$ if $p\geq N$, and $λ>0$ is a parameter.
In this paper we establish, using variational methods combined with the Moser-Trudinger inequality, existence and multiplicity of weak solutions for a class of critical fractional elliptic equations with exponential growth without a Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz-type condition. The interaction of the nonlinearities with the spectrum of the fractional operator will used to study the existence and multiplicity of solutions. The main technical result proves that a local minimum in $C_{s}^0(\overlineΩ)$ is also a local minimum in $W^{s,p}_0$ for nonlinearities with exponential growth.
