Standard present day large-scale structure (LSS) analyses make a major assumption in their Bayesian parameter inference --- that the likelihood has a Gaussian form. For summary statistics currently used in LSS, this assumption, even if the underlying density field is Gaussian, cannot be correct in detail. We investigate the impact of this assumption on two recent LSS analyses: the Beutler et al. (2017) power spectrum multipole ($P_\ell$) analysis and the Sinha et al. (2017) group multiplicity function ($ζ$) analysis. Using non-parametric divergence estimators on mock catalogs originally constructed for covariance matrix estimation, we identify significant non-Gaussianity in both the $P_\ell$ and $ζ$ likelihoods. We then use Gaussian mixture density estimation and Independent Component Analysis on the same mocks to construct likelihood estimates that approximate the true likelihood better than the Gaussian $pseudo$-likelihood. Using these likelihood estimates, we accurately estimate the true posterior probability distribution of the Beutler et al. (2017) and Sinha et al. (2017) parameters. Likelihood non-Gaussianity shifts the $fσ_8$ constraint by $-0.44σ$, but otherwise, does not significantly impact the overall parameter constraints of Beutler et al. (2017). For the $ζ$ analysis, using the pseudo-likelihood significantly underestimates the uncertainties and biases the constraints of Sinha et al. (2017) halo occupation parameters. For $\log M_1$ and $α$, the posteriors are shifted by $+0.43σ$ and $-0.51σ$ and broadened by $42\%$ and $66\%$, respectively. The divergence and likelihood estimation methods we present provide a straightforward framework for quantifying the impact of likelihood non-Gaussianity and deriving more accurate parameter constraints.
We study the significance of non-Gaussianity in the likelihood of weak lensing shear two-point correlation functions, detecting significantly non-zero skewness and kurtosis in one-dimensional marginal distributions of shear two-point correlation functions in simulated weak lensing data. We examine the implications in the context of future surveys, in particular LSST, with derivations of how the non-Gaussianity scales with survey area. We show that there is no significant bias in one-dimensional posteriors of $Ω_{\rm m}$ and $σ_{\rm 8}$ due to the non-Gaussian likelihood distributions of shear …
(abridged) We study the validity of the approximation of a Gaussian cosmic shear likelihood. We estimate the true likelihood for a fiducial cosmological model from a large set of ray-tracing simulations and investigate the impact of non-Gaussianity on cosmological parameter estimation. We investigate how odd the recently reported very low value of $σ_8$ really is as derived from the \textit{Chandra} Deep Field South (CDFS) using cosmic shear by taking the non-Gaussianity of the likelihood into account as well as the possibility of biases coming from the way the CDFS was selected. We find that …
We have made a Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) analysis of primordial non-Gaussianity (f_NL) using the WMAP bispectrum and power spectrum. In our analysis, we have simultaneously constrained f_NL and cosmological parameters so that the uncertainties of cosmological parameters can properly propagate to the f_NL estimation. Investigating the parameter likelihoods deduced from MCMC samples, we find slight deviation from Gaussian shape, which makes a Fisher matrix estimation less accurate. Therefore, we have estimated the confidence interval of f_NL by exploring the parameter likelihood without us…
The power spectrum of weak lensing fluctuations has a non-Gaussian distribution due to its quadratic nature. On small scales the Central Limit Theorem acts to Gaussianize this distribution but non-Gaussianity in the signal due to gravitational collapse is increasing and the functional form of the likelihood is unclear. Analyses have traditionally assumed a Gaussian likelihood with non-linearity incorporated into the covariance matrix; here we provide the theory underpinning this assumption. We calculate, for the first time, the leading-order correction to the distribution of angular power spec…
Upcoming galaxy redshift surveys promise to significantly improve current limits on primordial non-Gaussianity (PNG) through measurements of 2- and 3-point correlation functions in Fourier space. However, realizing the full potential of this dataset is contingent upon having both accurate theoretical models and optimized analysis methods. Focusing on the local model of PNG, parameterized by $f_{\rm NL}$, we perform a Monte-Carlo Markov Chain analysis to confront perturbation theory predictions of the halo power spectrum and bispectrum in real space against a suite of N-body simulations. We mod…
In this letter we present constraints on the scale-dependent "local" type primordial non-Gaussianity, which is described by non-Gaussianity's spectral index $n_{\rm NG}$, from the NRAO VLA Sky Survey and the quasar catalog of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) Data Release 6, together with the SDSS Data Release 12 photo-z sample. Here, we use the auto-correlation analyses of these three probes and their cross-correlation analyses with the cosmic microwave background (CMB) temperature map, and obtain the tight constraint on the spectral index: $n_{\rm NG}=0.2 ^{+0.7}_{-1.0}$ ($1\,σ$ C.L.), whi…
In this brief paper we revisit the Fisher information content of cosmological power spectra or two-point functions of Gaussian fields in order to comment on the assumption of Gaussian estimators and the use of parameter-dependent covariance matrices for parameter inference in the context of precision cosmology. Even though the assumption of a Gaussian likelihood is motivated by the central limit theorem, we discuss that it leads to Fisher information content that violates the Cramér-Rao bound if used consistently, owing to independent but artificial information from the parameter-dependent cov…
Galaxy clustering data from current and upcoming large scale structure surveys can provide strong constraints on primordial non-Gaussianity through the scale-dependent halo bias. To fully exploit the information from galaxy surveys, optimal analysis methods need to be developed and applied to the data. Since the halo bias is sensitive to local non-Gaussianity predominately at large scales, the volume of a given survey is crucial. Consequently, for such analyses we do not want to split into redshift bins, which would lead to information loss due to edge effects, but instead analyse the full sam…
The detection of non-Gaussianity in the CMB data would rule out a number of inflationary models. A null detection of non-Gaussianity, instead, would exclude alternative models for the early universe. Thus, a detection or non-detection of primordial non-Gaussianity in the CMB data is crucial to discriminate among inflationary models, and to test alternative scenarios. However, there are various non-cosmological sources of non-Gaussianity. This makes important to employ different indicators in order to detect distinct forms of non-Gaussianity in CMB data. Recently, we proposed two new indicators…
We investigate whether a Gaussian likelihood is sufficient to obtain accurate parameter constraints from a Euclid-like combined tomographic power spectrum analysis of weak lensing, galaxy clustering and their cross-correlation. Testing its performance on the full sky against the Wishart distribution, which is the exact likelihood under the assumption of Gaussian fields, we find that the Gaussian likelihood returns accurate parameter constraints. This accuracy is robust to the choices made in the likelihood analysis, including the choice of fiducial cosmology, the range of scales included, and …
We analyse the situation where the primordial curvature perturbations are produced by the joint effects of an inflaton field and two curvaton fields. We present general equations which allow the reader to obtain f_NL for several different scenarios which differ in the order in which fields decay into radiation after inflation. In order to investigate the physics of these equations we analyse some simplified situations where the fields are harmonic and both curvatons are frozen at the same expectation value during inflation. We find quite complex behaviour - for a given situation where the infl…
A detection of the level of non-Gaussianity in the CMB data is essential to discriminate among inflationary models and also to test alternative primordial scenarios. However, the extraction of primordial non-Gaussianity is a difficult endeavor since several effects of non-primordial nature can produce non-Gaussianity. On the other hand, different statistical tools can in principle provide information about distinct forms of non-Gaussianity. Thus, any single statistical estimator cannot be sensitive to all possible forms of non-Gaussianity. In this context, to shed some light in the potential s…
We present skeleton studies of non-Gaussianity in the CMB temperature anisotropy observed in the WMAP5 data. The local skeleton is traced on the 2D sphere by cubic spline interpolation which leads to more accurate estimation of the intersection positions between the skeleton and the secondary pixels than conventional linear interpolation. We demonstrate that the skeleton-based estimator of non-Gaussianity of the local type (f_NL) - the departure of the length distribution from the corresponding Gaussian expectation - yields an unbiased and sufficiently converged f_NL-likelihood. We analyse the…
Future galaxy redshift surveys aim at probing the clustering of the cosmic large-scale structure with unprecedented accuracy, thus complementing cosmic microwave background experiments in the quest to deliver the most precise and accurate picture ever of our Universe. Analyses of such measurements are usually performed within the context of the so-called vanilla LCDM model - the six-parameter phenomenological model which, for instance, emerges from best fits against the recent data obtained by the Planck satellite. Here, we show that such an approach is prone to subtle systematics when the Gau…
The likelihood function is a crucial element of parameter estimation. In analyses of galaxy overdensities and weak lensing shear, one often approximates the likelihood of the power spectrum with a Gaussian distribution. The posterior probability derived from such a likelihood deviates considerably from the exact posterior on the largest scales probed by any survey, where the central limit theorem does not apply. We show that various forms of Gaussian likelihoods can have a significant impact on the estimation of the primordial non-Gaussianity parameter f_NL from the galaxy angular power spectr…
[Abridged.] It is conceivable that no single statistical estimator can be sensitive to all forms and levels of non-Gaussianity that may be present in observed CMB data. In recent works a statistical procedure based upon the calculation of the skewness and kurtosis of the patches of CMB sky-sphere has been proposed and used to find out significant large-angle deviation from Gaussianity in the foreground-reduced WMAP maps. Here we address the question as to how the analysis of Gaussianity of WMAP maps is modified if the foreground-cleaned Planck maps are used, therefore extending and complementi…
The bispectrum of scalar mode density perturbations is analysed for the strong regime of warm inflationary models. This analysis generalises previous results by allowing damping terms in the inflaton equation of motion that are dependent on temperature. A significant amount of non-gaussianity emerges with constant (or local) non-linearity parameter $f_{NL}\sim 20$, in addition to the terms with non-constant $f_{NL}$ which are characteristic of warm inflation.
We analyse the clustering of 22,361 quasars between redshift 2.2 < z < 2.9 observed with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS)-III Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS), which are included in the ninth data release (DR9). We fit the clustering results with a ΛCDM model to calculate the linear bias of the quasar sample, b=3.74\pm 0.12. The measured value of bias is consistent with the findings of White et al. (2012), where they analyse almost the same quasar sample, although only in the range, s<40 Mpc/h. At large scales we observe an excess or plateau in the clustering correlation funct…
In the EFT of biased tracers the noise field $\varepsilon_g$ is not exactly uncorrelated with the nonlinear matter field $δ$. Its correlation with $δ$ is effectively captured by adding stochasticities to each bias coefficient. We show that if these stochastic fields are Gaussian (the impact of their non-Gaussianity being subleading on quasi-linear scales anyway) it is possible to resum exactly their effect on the conditional likelihood ${\cal P}[δ_g|δ]$ to observe a galaxy field $δ_g$ given an underlying $δ$. This resummation allows to take them into account in EFT-based approaches to Bayesian…
The Minkowski functionals are useful statistics to quantify the morphology of various random fields. They have been applied to numerous analyses of geometrical patterns, including various types of cosmic fields, morphological image processing, etc. In some cases, including cosmological applications, small deviations from the Gaussianity of the distribution are of fundamental importance. Analytic formulas for the expectation values of Minkowski functionals with small non-Gaussianity have been derived in limited cases to date. We generalize these previous works to derive an analytic expression f…
We investigate how well future large-scale radio surveys could measure different shapes of primordial non-Gaussianity; in particular we focus on angle-dependent non-Gaussianity arising from primordial anisotropic sources, whose bispectrum has an angle dependence between the three wavevectors that is characterized by Legendre polynomials $\mathcal{P}_L$ and expansion coefficients $c_L$. We provide forecasts for measurements of galaxy power spectrum, finding that Large-Scale Structure (LSS) data could allow measurements of primordial non-Gaussianity competitive or improving upon current constrai…
We present an upgraded combined estimator, based on Minkowski Functionals and Neural Networks, with excellent performance in detecting primordial non-Gaussianity in simulated maps that also contain a weighted mixture of Galactic contaminations, besides real pixel's noise from Planck cosmic microwave background radiation data. We rigorously test the efficiency of our estimator considering several plausible scenarios for residual non-Gaussianities in the foreground-cleaned Planck maps, with the intuition to optimize the training procedure of the Neural Network to discriminate between contaminati…
[Abridged]: A detection or nondetection of primordial non-Gaussianity by using the CMB data is crucial not only to discriminate inflationary models but also to test alternative scenarios. Non-Gaussianity offers, therefore, a powerful probe of the physics of the primordial universe. The extraction of primordial non-Gaussianity is a difficult enterprise since several effects of non-primordial nature can produce non-Gaussianity. Most of the Gaussianity analyses of CMB data have been performed by using part-sky frequency, where masks are used to deal with the galactic diffuse foreground emission. …
The extensive search for deviations from Gaussianity in cosmic microwave background radiation (CMB) data is very important due to the information about the very early moments of the universe encoded there. Recent analyses from Planck CMB data do not exclude the presence of non-Gaussianity of small amplitude, although they are consistent with the Gaussian hypothesis. The use of different techniques is essential to provide information about types and amplitudes of non-Gaussianities in the CMB data. In particular, we find interesting to construct an estimator based upon the combination of two pow…
The general kind noncanonical warm inflation is introduced and its total non-Gaussianity of perturbation on uniform energy density hypersurfaces is studied. The total non-Gaussianity contains two complementary parts: the three- and the four-point correlations. The three-point correlation part denoted by $f^{int}_{NL}$, comes from the three-point correlation of inflaton field, while the four-point correlation part, denoted by $f_{NL}^{δN}$, is the contribution due to the four-point correlation function of the inflaton field. The aforementioned two parts of non-Gaussianity in general noncanonica…
We report constraints on primordial non-Gaussianity from the abundance of X-ray detected clusters. Our analytic prescription for adding non-Gaussianity to the cluster mass function takes into account moments beyond the skewness, and we demonstrate that those moments should not be ignored in most analyses of cluster data. We constrain the amplitude of the skewness for two scenarios that have different overall levels of non-Gaussianity, characterized by how amplitudes of higher cumulants scale with the skewness. We find that current data can constrain these one-parameter non-Gaussian models at a…
Despite the wealth of $Planck$ results, there are difficulties in disentangling the primordial non-Gaussianity of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) from the secondary and the foreground non-Gaussianity (NG). For each of these forms of NG the lack of complete data introduces model-dependencies. Aiming at detecting the NGs of the CMB temperature anisotropy $δT$, while paying particular attention to a model-independent quantification of NGs, our analysis is based upon statistical and morphological univariate descriptors, respectively: the probability density function $P(δT)$, related to ${\ma…
Forecasts and analyses of cosmological observations often rely on the assumption of a perfect theoretical model over a defined range of scales. We explore how model uncertainties and nuisance parameters in perturbative models of the matter and galaxy spectra affect constraints on neutrino mass and primordial non-Gaussianities. We provide a consistent treatment of theoretical errors and argue that their inclusion is a necessary step to obtain realistic cosmological constraints. We find that galaxy surveys up to high redshifts will allow a detection of the minimal neutrino mass and local non-Gau…
We study Minkowski Functionals as probes of primordial non-Gaussianity in the Cosmic Microwave Background, specifically for the estimate of the primordial `local' bi-spectrum parameter f_NL, with instrumental parameters which should be appropriate for the Planck experiment. We use a maximum likelihood approach, which we couple with various filtering methods and test thoroughly for convergence. We included the effect of inhomogeneous noise as well as astrophysical biases induced by point sources and by the contamination from the Galaxy. We find that, when Wiener filtered maps are used (rather t…
Analytic expressions for the statistics of peaks of random fields with weak non-Gaussianity are provided. Specifically, the abundance and spatial correlation of peaks are represented by formulas which can be evaluated only by virtually one-dimensional integrals. We assume the non-Gaussianity is weak enough such that it is represented by linear terms of the bispectrum. The formulas are formally given in $N$-dimensional space, and explicitly given in the case of $N=1,2,3$. Some examples of peak statistics in cosmological fields are calculated for the cosmic density field and weak lensing field, …
Large-scale Fourier modes of the cosmic density field are of great value for learning about cosmology because of their well-understood relationship to fluctuations in the early universe. However, cosmic variance generally limits the statistical precision that can be achieved when constraining model parameters using these modes as measured in galaxy surveys, and moreover, these modes are sometimes inaccessible due to observational systematics or foregrounds. For some applications, both limitations can be circumvented by reconstructing large-scale modes using the correlations they induce between…
General relativistic cosmology cannot be reduced to linear relativistic perturbations superposed on an isotropic and homogeneous (Friedmann-Robertson-Walker) background, even though such a simple scheme has been successfully applied to analyse a large variety of phenomena (such as Cosmic Microwave Background primary anisotropies, matter clustering on large scales, weak gravitational lensing, etc.). The general idea of going beyond this simple paradigm is what characterises most of the efforts made in recent years: the study of second and higher-order cosmological perturbations including all ge…
We describe the details of the binned bispectrum estimator as used for the official 2013 and 2015 analyses of the temperature and polarization CMB maps from the ESA Planck satellite. The defining aspect of this estimator is the determination of a map bispectrum (3-point correlator) that has been binned in harmonic space. For a parametric determination of the non-Gaussianity in the map (the so-called fNL parameters), one takes the inner product of this binned bispectrum with theoretically motivated templates. However, as a complementary approach one can also smooth the binned bispectrum using a…
We present the new method DALI (Derivative Approximation for LIkelihoods) for reconstructing and forecasting posteriors. DALI extends the Fisher Matrix formalism but allows for a much wider range of posterior shapes. While the Fisher Matrix formalism is limited to yield ellipsoidal confidence contours, our method can reproduce the often observed flexed, deformed or curved shapes of known posteriors. This gain in shape fidelity is obtained by expanding the posterior to higher order in derivatives with respect to parameters, such that non-Gaussianity in the parameter space is taken into account.…
Future galaxy surveys promise to probe local primordial non-Gaussianity at unprecedented precision, $σ(f_{\rm NL}) \lesssim 1$. We study the implications for multifield inflation by considering spectator models, where inflation is driven by the inflaton field, but the primordial perturbations are (partially) generated by a second, spectator field. We perform an MCMC likelihood analysis using Planck data to study quantitative predictions for $f_{\rm NL}$ and other observables for a range of such spectator models. We show that models where the primordial perturbations are dominated by the specta…

We study the impact that uncertainties on assumed relations between galaxy bias parameters have on constraints of the local PNG $f_{\rm NL}$ parameter. We focus on the relation between the linear density galaxy bias $b_1$ and local PNG bias $b_ϕ$ in an idealized forecast setup with multitracer galaxy power spectrum and bispectrum data. We consider two parametrizations of galaxy bias: 1) one inspired by the universality relation where $b_ϕ= 2δ_c\left(b_1 - p\right)$ and $p$ is a free parameter; and 2) another in which the product of bias parameters and $f_{\rm NL}$, like $f_{\rm NL} b_ϕ$, is di…

I show how a renormalization group (RG) method can be used to incrementally integrate the information in cosmological large-scale structure data sets (including CMB, galaxy redshift surveys, etc.). I show numerical tests for Gaussian fields, where the method allows arbitrarily close to exact computation of the likelihood function in order $\sim N$ time, even for problems with no symmetry, compared to $N^3$ for brute force linear algebra (where $N$ is the number of data points -- to be fair, methods already exist to solve the Gaussian problem in at worst $N \log N$ time, and this method will no…
Non-Gaussian correlations induced in CMB power spectra by gravitational lensing must be included in likelihood analyses for future CMB experiments. We present a simple but accurate likelihood model which includes these correlations and use it for Markov Chain Monte Carlo parameter estimation from simulated lensed CMB maps in the context of $Λ$CDM and extensions which include the sum of neutrino masses or the dark energy equation of state $w$. If lensing-induced covariance is not taken into account for a CMB-S4 type experiment, the errors for one combination of parameters in each case would be …
We study perturbations in the multi-field axion Nflation model, taking account of the full cosine potential. We find significant differences with previous analyses which made a quadratic approximation to the potential. The tensor-to-scalar ratio and the scalar spectral index move to lower values, which nevertheless provide an acceptable fit to observation. Most significantly, we find that the bispectrum non-gaussianity parameter f_NL may be large, typically of order 10 for moderate values of the axion decay constant, increasing to of order 100 for decay constants slightly smaller than the Plan…
Non-Gaussianities of dynamical origin are disentangled from primordial ones using the formalism of large deviation statistics with spherical collapse dynamics. This is achieved by relying on accurate analytical predictions for the one-point probability distribution function (PDF) and the two-point clustering of spherically-averaged cosmic densities (sphere bias). Sphere bias extends the idea of halo bias to intermediate density environments and voids as underdense regions. In the presence of primordial non-Gaussianity, sphere bias displays a strong scale dependence relevant for both high and l…
We present forecasts for constraints on deviations from Gaussian distribution of primordial density perturbations from future X-ray surveys of galaxy clusters. Our analysis is based on computing the Fisher-Matrix for number counts and large-scale power spectrum of clusters. We consider a survey with high-sensitivity and wide-area to detect about 2.5 x 10^5 extended sources. Based on the self-calibration approach, and including Planck priors in our analysis, we constrain 9 cosmological parameters and 4 nuisance parameters, which define the relation between cluster mass and X-ray flux. Because o…
A detection or nondetection of primordial non-Gaussianity in the CMB data is essential not only to test alternative models of the physics of the early universe but also to discriminate among classes of inflationary models. Given this far reaching consequences of such a non-Gaussianity detection for our understanding of the physics of the early universe, it is important to employ alternative indicators in order to have further information about the Gaussianity features of CMB that may be helpful for identifying their origins. In this way, a considerable effort has recently gone into the design …
We derive the essentials of the skewed weak lensing likelihood via a simple Hierarchical Model. Our likelihood passes four objective and cosmology-independent tests which a standard Gaussian likelihood fails. We demonstrate that sound weak lensing analyses are naturally biased low, and this does not indicate any new physics such as deviations from $Λ$CDM. Mathematically, the biases arise because noisy two-point functions follow skewed distributions. This form of bias is already known from CMB analyses, where the low multipoles have asymmetric error bars. Weak lensing is more strongly affected …
We develop a scenario of inflation with spontaneously broken time and space diffeomorphisms, with distinctive features for the primordial tensor modes. Inflationary tensor fluctuations are non adiabatic, and can acquire a mass during the inflationary epoch. They can evade the Higuchi bound around de Sitter space, thanks to interactions with the fields driving expansion. Correspondingly, the primordial stochastic gravitational wave background (SGWB) is characterised by a tuneable scale dependence, and can be detectable at interferometer scales. In this set-up, tensor non-Gaussianity can be para…
Primordial, non-Gaussian perturbations can generate scale-dependent bias in the galaxy distribution. This in turn will modify correlations between galaxy positions and peculiar velocities at late times, since peculiar velocities reflect the underlying matter distribution, whereas galaxies are a biased tracer of the same. We study this effect, and show that non-Gaussianity can be constrained by comparing the observed peculiar velocity field to a model velocity field reconstructed from the galaxy density field assuming linear bias. The amplitude of the spatial correlations in the residual map ob…
We present the strongest robust constraints on primordial non-Gaussianity (PNG) from currently available galaxy surveys, combining large-scale clustering measurements and their cross-correlations with the cosmic microwave background. We update the data sets used by Giannantonio et al. (2012), and broaden that analysis to include the full set of two-point correlation functions between all surveys. In order to obtain the most reliable constraints on PNG, we advocate the use of the cross-correlations between the catalogs as a robust estimator and we perform an extended analysis of the possible sy…
We present the clustering of galaxy clusters as a useful addition to the common set of cosmological observables. The clustering of clusters probes the large-scale structure of the Universe, extending galaxy clustering analysis to the high-peak, high-bias regime. Clustering of galaxy clusters complements the traditional cluster number counts and observable-mass relation analyses, significantly improving their constraining power by breaking existing calibration degeneracies. We use the maxBCG galaxy clusters catalogue to constrain cosmological parameters and cross-calibrate the mass-observable r…
Weak lensing, which is the deflection of light by matter along the line of sight, has proven to be an efficient method for constraining models of structure formation and reveal the nature of dark energy. So far, most weak-lensing studies have focused on the shear field that can be measured directly from the ellipticity of background galaxies. However, within the context of forthcoming full-sky weak-lensing surveys such as Euclid, convergence maps (mass maps) offer an important advantage over shear fields in terms of cosmological exploitation. While it carry the same information, the lensing si…
A $δN$ formalism is used to study the non-Gaussianity of the primordial curvature perturbation on an uniform density hypersurfaces generated by the warm inflation for the first time. After introducing the framework of the warm inflation and the $δN$ formalism, we obtain an analytic expression for the nonlinear parameter $f_{NL}$ that describes the non-Gaussianity in slow roll approximation, and find that the $δN$ formalism gives a very good result. We analyse the magnitude of $f_{NL}$ and compare our result with those of the standard inflation. Then we discuss two concrete examples: the quarti…
