A class of pseudoconvex domains in $\mathbb{C}^{n}$ generalizing the Hartogs triangle is considered. The $L^p$ boundedness of the Bergman projection associated to these domains is established, for a restricted range of $p$ depending on the "fatness" of domains. This range of $p$ is shown to be sharp.
We study weighted Bergman projections on the Hartogs triangle in $\mathbb{C}^2$. We show that projections corresponding to exponentially vanishing weights have degenerate $L^p$ mapping properties.
We prove a weighted Sobolev estimate of the Bergman projection on the Hartogs triangle, where the weight is some power of the distance to the singularity at the boundary. This method also applies to the $n$-dimensional generalization of the Hartogs triangle.
In this paper we investigate a two classes of domains in $\mathbb{C}^n$ generalizing the Hartogs triangle. We prove optimal estimates for the mapping properties of the Bergman projection on these domains.
We prove optimal estimates for the mapping properties of the Bergman projection on the Hartogs triangle in weighted $L^p$ spaces when $p>\frac{4}{3}$, where the weight is a power of the distance to the singular boundary point. For $1<p\leq\frac{4}{3}$ we show that no such weighted estimates are possible.
The Bergman theory of domains $\{ |{z_{1} |^γ} < |{z_{2}} | < 1 \}$ in $\mathbb{C}^2$ is studied for certain values of $γ$, including all positive integers. For such $γ$, we obtain a closed form expression for the Bergman kernel, $\mathbb{B}_γ$. With these formulas, we make new observations relating to the Lu Qi-Keng problem and analyze the boundary behavior of $\mathbb{B}_γ(z,z)$.
In this paper we investigate a class of domains $Ω^{n+1}_k =\{(z,w)\in \mathbb{C}^n\times \mathbb{C}: |z|^k < |w| < 1\}$ for $k \in \mathbb{Z}^+$ which generalizes the Hartogs triangle. we first obtain the new explicit formulas for the Bergman kernel function on these domains and further give a range of $p$ values for which the $L^p$ boundedness of the Bergman projection holds. This range of $p$ is shown to be sharp.
Let $ϕ$ be a globally defined real Kähler potential on a domain $Ω\subset \mathbb{C}^d$, and $g_{F}$ be a Kähler metric on the Hartogs domain $ M=\{(z,w)\in Ω\times\mathbb{C}^{d_0}: \|w\|^2<e^{-ϕ(z)}\}$ associated with the Kähler potential $Φ_{F}(z,w)=ϕ(z)+F(ϕ(z)+\ln\|w\|^2)$. Firstly, we obtain explicit formulas of the coefficients $\mathbf{a}_j\;(j=1,2)$ of the Bergman function expansion for the Hartogs domain $( M,g_F)$ in a momentum profile $φ$. Secondly, using explicit expressions of $\mathbf{a}_j\;(j=1,2)$, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the coefficients $\mathbf{a}_j\…
We obtain new explicit formulas for the Bergman kernel function on two families of Hartogs domains. To do so, we first compute the Bergman kernels on the slices of these Hartogs domains with some coordinates fixed, evaluate these kernel functions at certain points off the diagonal, and then apply a first order differential operator to them. We find, for example, explicit formulas for the kernel function on $$\{(z_1,z_2,w)\in\mathbb C^3:e^{|w|^2}|z_1|^2+|z_2|^2<1\}$$ and on $$\{(z_1,z_2,w)\in\mathbb C^3:|z_1|^2+|z_2|^2+|w|^2<1+|z_2w|^2\;{\rm and} \;|w|<1\}.$$ We use our formulas to determine th…
We generalize the Hartogs triangle to a class of bounded Hartogs domains, and we prove that the corresponding Bergman projections are bounded on $L^p$ if and only if $p$ is in the range $(\frac{2n}{n+1},\frac{2n}{n-1})$.
The Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domain $D_{n, m}(μ)$ is defined by $$ D_{n, m}(μ):=\{(z, w)\in\mathbb{C}^{n}\times\mathbb{C}^m:\Vert w \Vert^2<e^{-μ\Vert z \Vert^2}\},$$ where $μ>0.$ The Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domain $D_{n, m}(μ)$ is an unbounded strongly pseudoconvex domain with smooth real-analytic boundary. In this paper, we first compute the weighted Bergman kernel of $D_{n, m}(μ)$ with respect to the weight $(-ρ)^α$, where $ρ(z,w):=\|w\|^2-e^{-μ\|z\|^2}$ is a defining function for $D_{n, m}(μ)$ and $α>-1$. Then, for $p\in [1,\infty),$ we show that the corresponding weighted Bergman projection $P…
The definition of classical holomorphic function spaces such as the Hardy space or the Dirichlet space on the Hartogs triangle is not canonical. In this paper we introduce a natural family of holomorphic function spaces on the Hartogs triangle which includes some weighted Bergman spaces, a candidate Hardy space and a candidate Dirichlet space. For the weighted Bergman spaces and the Hardy space we study the $L^p$ mapping properties of Bergman and Szegő projection respectively, whereas for the Dirichlet space we prove it is isometric to the Dirichlet space on the bidisc.
Two Kahler manifolds are called relatives if they admit a common Kahler submanifold with the same induced metrics. In this paper, we show that a Hartogs domain over an irreducible bounded symmetric domain equipped with the Bergman metric is not a relative to the complex Euclidean space. This generalizes the results in [5, 4] and the novelty here is that the Bergman kernel of the Hartogs domain is not necessarily Nash algebraic.
We apply modern techniques of dyadic harmonic analysis to obtain sharp estimates for the Bergman projection in weighted Bergman spaces. Our main theorem focuses on the Bergman projection on the Hartogs triangle. The estimates of the operator norm are in terms of a Bekollé-Bonami type constant. As an application of the results obtained, we give, for example, an upper bound for the $L^p$ norm of the Bergman projection on the generalized Hartogs triangle $\mathbb H_{m/n}$ in $\mathbb C^2$.
We prove the $L^p$ regularity of the weighted Bergman projection on the Hartogs triangle, where the weights are powers of the distance to the singularity at the boundary. The restricted range of $p$ is proved to be sharp. By using a two-weight inequality on the upper half plane with Muckenhoupt weights, we can consider a slightly wider class of weights.
In this paper, we obtain some $L^{p}$ mapping properties of the Bergman-Toeplitz operator \[ f\longrightarrow T_{K^{-α}}\left(f\right):=\intop_ΩK_Ω\left(\cdot,w\right)K^{-α}\left(w,w\right)f\left(w\right)dV(w) \] on fat Hartogs triangles $Ω_{k}:=\left\{ \left(z_{1},z_{2}\right)\in\mathbb{C}^{2}:\left|z_{1}\right|^{k}<\left|z_{2}\right|<1\right\} $, where $α\in\mathbb{R}$ and $k\in \mathbb Z^+$.
Sobolev irregularity of the Bergman projection on a family of domains containing the Hartogs triangle is shown. On the Hartogs triangle itself, a sub-Bergman projection is shown to satisfy better Sobolev norm estimates than its Bergman projection.
In this paper, we investigate the weak-type regularity of the Bergman projection. The two domains we focus on are the polydisc and the Hartogs triangle. For the polydisc we provide a proof that the weak-type behavior is of "$L\log L$" type. This result is likely known to the experts, but does not appear to be in the literature. For the Hartogs triangle we show that the operator is of weak-type $(4,4)$; settling the question of the behavior of the projection at this endpoint. At the other endpoint of interest, we show that the Bergman projection is not of weak-type $(\frac{4}{3}, \frac{4}{3})$ …
We introduce a wider class of bounded Hartogs domains, which contains some generalizations of the classical Hartogs triangle. A sharp criteria for the $L^p-L^q$ boundedness of the Toeplitz operator with symbol $K^{-t}$ is obtained on these domains, where $K$ is the Bergman kernel on diagonal and $t\geq 0$. It generalizes the results by Chen and Beberok in the case $1<p<\infty$.
We compute explicitly the Bergman kernels of all two dimensional monomial polyhedra, a class of domains including the Hartogs triangle and some of its generalizations. The kernel is computed from the representation of such domains as quotient of the product of a disc and punctured disc.
A generalized Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domain $D_n^{\mathbf{m},\mathbf{p}}$ is defined as a domain fibered over $\mathbb{C}^{n}$ with the fiber over $z\in \mathbb{C}^{n}$ being a generalized complex ellipsoid $Σ_z({\mathbf{m},\mathbf{p}})$. In general, a generalized Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domain is an unbounded non-hyperbolic domains without smooth boundary. The main contribution of this paper is as follows. By using the explicit formula of Bergman kernels of the generalized Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domains, we obtain the rigidity results of proper holomorphic mappings between two equidimensional gen…
If a bounded domain can be covered by the polydisk through a rational proper holomorphic map, then the Bergman projection is $L^p$-bounded for $p$ in a certain range depending on the ramified rational covering. This result can be applied to the symmetrized polydisk and to the Hartogs triangle with exponent $γ$.
Expected duality and approximation properties are shown to fail on Bergman spaces of domains in $\mathbb{C}^n$, via examples. When the domain admits an operator satisfying certain mapping properties, positive duality and approximation results are proved. Such operators are constructed on generalized Hartogs triangles. On a general bounded Reinhardt domain, norm convergence of Laurent series of Bergman functions is shown. This extends a classical result on Hardy spaces of the unit disc.
Identifying holomorphic functions by moment conditions is a classical problem. This paper explores ideas introduced by Tumanov in a well known paper on the strip problem, and building on the author's previous work, to show that weighted Bergman projections can be computed via asymptotic formulas involving Szegő projections a fixed 1-dimensional family of curves. Various new operators are introduced; in addition, similar formulas are derived via dimension reduction, using the author's CR Hartogs theorem.
We study the Bergman kernel of certain domains in $\mathbb{C}^n$, called elementary Reinhardt domains, generalizing the classical Hartogs triangle. For some elementary Reinhardt domains, we explicitly compute the kernel, which is a rational function of the coordinates. For some other such domains, we show that the kernel is not a rational function. For a general elementary Reinhardt domain, we obtain a representation of the kernel as an infinite series.
The Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domain $D_{n,m}(μ)$ ($μ>0$) in $\mathbb{C}^{n+m}$ is defined by the inequality $\|w\|^2<e^{-μ\|z\|^2},$ where $(z,w)\in \mathbb{C}^n\times \mathbb{C}^m$, which is an unbounded non-hyperbolic domain in $\mathbb{C}^{n+m}$. This paper introduces a Kähler metric $αg(μ;ν)$ $(α>0)$ on $D_{n,m}(μ)$, where $g(μ;ν)$ is the Kähler metric associated with the Kähler potential $Φ(z,w):=μν{\Vert z\Vert}^{2}-\ln(e^{-μ{\Vert z\Vert}^{2}}-\Vert w\Vert^2)$ ($ν>-1$) on $D_{n,m}(μ)$. The purpose of this paper is twofold. Firstly, we obtain an explicit formula for the Bergman kernel of th…
The Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domain $D_{n,m}(μ)$ ($μ>0$) in $\mathbf{C}^{n+m}$ is defined by the inequality $\|w\|^2<e^{-μ\|z\|^2},$ where $(z,w)\in \mathbf{C}^n\times \mathbf{C}^m$, which is an unbounded non-hyperbolic domain in $\mathbf{C}^{n+m}$. Recently, Yamamori gave an explicit formula for the Bergman kernel of the Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domains in terms of the polylogarithm functions and Kim-Ninh-Yamamori determined the automorphism group of the domain $D_{n,m}(μ)$. In this article, we obtain rigidity results on proper holomorphic mappings between two equidimensional Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs …
We extend certain classical theorems in pluripotential theory to a class of functions defined on the support of a $(1,1)$-closed positive current $T$, analogous to plurisubharmonic functions, called $T$-plurisubharmonic functions. These functions are defined as limits, on the support of $T$, of sequences of plurisubharmonic functions decreasing on this support. In particular, we show that the poles of such functions are pluripolar sets. We also show that the maximum principle and the Hartogs's theorem remain valid in a weak sense. We study these functions by means of a class of measures, so-ca…
