We prove an equivariant version of Beilinson's conjecture on non-critical $L$-values of strongly modular abelian varieties over number fields. As an application, we prove a weak version of Zagier's conjecture on $L(E,2)$ and Deninger's conjecture on $L(E,3)$ for non-CM strongly modular $\mathbf{Q}$-curves.
We compute the tautological ring for a Hilbert modular variety at an unramified prime. The method generalises that of van der Geer from the Siegel case.
We define modular equations in the setting of PEL Shimura varieties as equations describing Hecke correspondences, and prove upper bounds on their degrees and heights. This extends known results about elliptic modular polynomials, and implies complexity bounds for number-theoretic algorithms using these modular equations. In particular, we obtain tight degree bounds for modular equations of Siegel and Hilbert type for abelian surfaces.
Arithmetic compactifications of the Hilbert modular varieties and Hilbert modular forms for $Γ_1(c,n)$
我们构造了水平$Γ_1(\mathfrak{c},\mathfrak{n})$的Hilbert模簇的分歧尖点的局部图。这使得我们能够密切关注M。Rapoport和C.- L. Chai,构造这些模簇的算术环和极小紧化。给出了模形式的一些应用。请参阅我们与J. Tilouine的联合工作以了解其他应用。
We use the method of Bruinier--Raum to show that symmetric formal Fourier--Jacobi series, in the cases of norm-Euclidean imaginary quadratic fields, are Hermitian modular forms. Consequently, combining a theorem of Yifeng Liu, we deduce Kudla's conjecture on the modularity of generating series of special cycles of arbitrary codimension for unitary Shimura varieties defined in these cases.
Under mild hypotheses on the residual representation, we prove the Equivariant Tamagawa Number Conjecture for modular motives with coefficients in universal deformation rings and Hecke algebras using a novel combination of the methods of Euler systems and Taylor-Wiles systems. We also prove the compatibility of this conjecture with specialization.
For every positive integer $r$, we solve the modular Schwarzian differential equation $\{h,τ\}=2π^2r^2E_4$, where $E_4$ is the weight 4 Eisenstein series, by means of equivariant functions on the upper half-plane. This paper supplements previous works \cite{forum, ramanujan}, where the same equation has been solved for infinite families of rational values of $r$. This also leads to the solutions to the modular differential equation $y''+r^2π^2E_4\,y=0$ for every positive integer $r$. These solutions are quasi-modular forms for $\mbox{SL}_2(\mathbb Z)$ if $r$ is even or for the subgroup of inde…
We introduce a new family of real analytic modular forms on the upper half plane. They are arguably the simplest class of `mixed' versions of modular forms of level one and are constructed out of real and imaginary parts of iterated integrals of holomorphic Eisenstein series. They form an algebra of functions satisfying many properties analogous to classical holomorphic modular forms. In particular, they admit expansions in $q, \overline{q}$ and $\log |q|$ involving only rational numbers and single-valued multiple zeta values. The first non-trivial functions in this class are real analytic Eis…
We describe extension classes arising in the $\ell$-adic and Hodge cohomology of Hilbert modular varieties, generalising results of Caspar to arbitrary dimensions. We show that this description is consistent with the "plectic conjectures" of Nekovář and the second author.
The low-energy expansion of closed-string scattering amplitudes at genus one introduces infinite families of non-holomorphic modular forms called modular graph forms. Their differential and number-theoretic properties motivated Brown's alternative construction of non-holomorphic modular forms in the recent mathematics literature from so-called equivariant iterated Eisenstein integrals. In this work, we provide the first validations beyond depth one of Brown's conjecture that equivariant iterated Eisenstein integrals contain modular graph forms. Apart from a variety of examples at depth two and…
In this paper, we determine all modular Jacobian varieties $J_1(M,MN)$ over the number field $\mathbb{Q}(ζ_M)$ with the Mordell-Weil rank zero following the method of Derickx, Etropolski, van Hoeij, Morrow, and Zureick-Brown.
In this paper, we prove the existence of certain lifts of Hilbert cusp forms to general odd spin groups. We then use those lifts to provide evidence for a conjecture of Gross on the modularity of abelian varieties not of ${\rm GL}_2$-type.
In this paper we establish a close connection between three notions at- tached to a modular subgroup. Namely the set of weight two meromorphic modular forms, the set of equivariant functions on the upper half-plane commuting with the action of the modular subgroup and the set of elliptic zeta functions generalizing the Weierstrass zeta functions. In particular, we show that the equivariant functions can be parameterized by modular objects as well as by elliptic objects.
