In this paper we study useful estimates, in particular $L^p$-estimates, for fully coupled forward-backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs) with jumps. These estimates are proved at one hand for fully coupled FBSDEs with jumps under the monotonicity assumption for arbitrary time intervals and on the other hand for such equations on small time intervals. Moreover, the well-posedness of this kind of equation is studied and regularity results are obtained.
This paper study a type of fully coupled mean-field forward-backward stochastic differential equations with jumps under the monotonicity condition, including the existence and the uniqueness of the solution of our equation as well as the continuity property of the solutions with respect to the parameters. Then we establish the stochastic maximum principle for the corresponding optimal control problems and give the applications to mean-variance portfolio problems and linear-quadratic problems, respectively.
In this study, for any given terminal time $T$, we establish an $L^p$ ($P>2$) estimations of fully coupled FBSDEs based on the $L^2$ estimations. Yong [24] proposed that a natural question is whether an adapted $L^2$-solution is an adapted $L^p$ solution for some $p>2$. In this study, we give a positive answer to this question. For any given terminal time $T$, based on an observation of the relation between $L^2$ and $L^p$ estimations of FBSDEs, we prove that a unique $L^2$-solution of fully coupled FBSDEs is an $L^p$-solution under standard conditions on the coefficients. Furthermore, we show…
Recently, the deep learning method has been used for solving forward-backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs) and parabolic partial differential equations (PDEs). It has good accuracy and performance for high-dimensional problems. In this paper, we mainly solve fully coupled FBSDEs through deep learning and provide three algorithms. Several numerical results show remarkable performance especially for high-dimensional cases.
How do future expectations affect the financial sector? Expectations modeling, infinite horizon (controlled) random FBSDEs and stochastic viscosity solutions
We obtain upper and lower Gaussian density estimates for the law of each component of the solution to a one-dimensional fully coupled forward-backward SDE (FBSDE). Our approach relies on the link between FBSDEs and quasilinear parabolic PDEs, and is fully based on the use of classical results on PDEs rather than on manipulation of FBSDEs, compared to other papers on this topic. This essentially simplifies the analysis.
We propose a quantization-based numerical scheme for a family of decoupled FBSDEs. We simplify the scheme for the control in Pagès and Sagna (2018) so that our approach is fully based on recursive marginal quantization and does not involve any Monte Carlo simulation for the computation of conditional expectations. We analyse in detail the numerical error of our scheme and we show through some examples the performance of the whole procedure, which proves to be very effective in view of financial applications.

This project investigates numerical methods for solving fully coupled forward-backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs) of McKean-Vlasov type. Having numerical solvers for such mean field FBSDEs is of interest because of the potential application of these equations to optimization problems over a large population, say for instance mean field games (MFG) and optimal mean field control problems. Theory for this kind of problems has met with great success since the early works on mean field games by Lasry and Lions, see \cite{Lasry_Lions}, and by Huang, Caines, and Malhamé, see \cite{Hu…
(Working Paper) Using a purely probabilistic argument, we prove the global well-posedness of multidimensional superquadratic backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs) without Markovian assumption. The key technique is the interplay between the local well-posedness of fully coupled path-dependent forward backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs) and backward iterations of the superquadratic BSDE. The superquadratic BSDE studied in this article includes quadratic BSDEs appear in stochastic differential game and price impact model. We also study the well-posedness of superquadr…
In this paper, we derive a representation for the value process associated to the solutions of FBSDEs in a jump-diffusion setting under multiple probability measures. Motivated by concrete financial problems, the latter representations are then applied to devise a generalization of the change of numéraire technique allowing to obtain recursive pricing formulas in the presence of multiple interest rates and collateralization.
This paper investigates solvability of fully coupled systems of forward-backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs) with irregular coefficients. In particular, we assume that the coefficients of the FBSDEs are merely measurable and bounded in the forward process. We crucially use compactness results from the theory of Malliavin calculus to construct strong solutions. Despite the irregularity of the coefficients, the solutions turn out to be differentiable, at least in the Malliavin sense and, as functions of the initial variable, in the Sobolev sense.
We study a microscopic limit order book model, in which the order dynamics depend on the current best bid and ask price and the current volume density functions, simultaneously, and derive its macroscopic high-frequency dynamics. As opposed to the existing literature on scaling limits for limit order book models, we include price changes which do not scale with the tick size in our model to account for large price movement, being for example triggered by highly unforeseen events. Our main result states that, when the size of an individual limit order and the tick size tend to zero while the or…
This paper develops stability and stabilization results for systems of fully coupled jump diffusions. Such systems frequently arise in numerous applications where each subsystem (component) is operated under the influence of other subsystems (components). This paper derives sufficient conditions under which the underlying coupled jump diffusion is stable. The results are then applied to investigate the stability of linearizable jump diffusions, fast-slow coupled jump diffusions. Moreover, weak stabilization of interacting systems and consensus of leader-following systems are examined.
The aim of this paper is to establish the existence and uniqueness of the solution to a system of nonlinear fully coupled forward-backward doubly stochastic differential equations with Poisson jumps. Our system is Markovian in the sense that initial and terminal values depend on solutions, and are not just fixed random variables. We establish under some monotonicity conditions, the existence and uniqueness of strong solutions of such equations by using a continuation method.
Spatially structured neural networks driven by jump diffusion noise with monotone coefficients, fully path dependent delay and with a disorder parameter are considered. Well-posedness for the associated McKean-Vlasov equation and a corresponding propagation of chaos result in the infinite population limit are proven. Our existence result for the McKean-Vlasov equation is based on the Euler approximation, that is applied to this type of equation for the first time.
In this paper, we consider McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations (MVSDEs) driven by Lévy noise. By identifying the right equations satisfied by the solutions of the MVSDEs with shifted driving Lévy noise, we build up a framework to fully apply the weak convergence method to establish large and moderate deviation principles for MVSDEs. In the case of ordinary SDEs, the rate function is calculated by using the solutions of the corresponding skeleton equations simply replacing the noise by the elements of the Cameron-Martin space. It turns out that the correct rate function for MVSDEs i…
