We characterize the Schatten class membership of the canonical solution operator to $\bar\partial$ acting on $L^2(e^{-2ϕ})$, where $ϕ$ is a subharmonic function with $Δϕ$ a doubling measure. The obtained characterization is in terms of $Δϕ$. As part of our approach, we study Hankel operators with anti-analytic symbols acting on the corresponding Fock space of entire functions in $L^2(e^{-2ϕ})$.
In this paper we introduce and study a two-parameter family of integral operators on the Fock space $F^2(C)$. We determine exactly when these operators are bounded and when they are unitary. We show that, under the Bargmann transform, these operators include the classical linear canonical transforms as special cases. As an application, we obtain a new unitary projective representation for the special linear group $SL(2,R)$ on the Fock space.
We deal with the $(\mathbb{Z}ω, χ)$-theta Fock-Bargmann space consisting of holomorphic automorphic functions associated to given discrete subgroup in $\mathbb{C}^g$ of rank one and given character $χ$. We give concrete description of its elements, it looks like a tensor product of a theta Fock-Bargmann space on the complex plane $\mathbb{C}$ and the classical Fock-Bargmann space on $\mathbb{C}^{g-1}$. Moreover, we construct an orthonormal basis and we give explicit expression of its reproducing kernel function in terms of Riemann theta function.
We give a complete description of sampling and interpolation in the Bargmann-Fock space, based on a density concept of Beurling. Roughly speaking, a discrete set is a set of sampling if and only if its density in every part of the plane is strictly larger than that of the von Neumann lattice, and similarly, a discrete set is a set of interpolation if and only if its density in every part of the plane is strictly smaller than that of the von Neumann lattice.
The spectrum of the d-bar-Neumann Laplacian on the Fock space $L^2(\mathbb{C}^n, e^{-|z|^2})$ is explicitly computed. It turns out that it consists of positive integer eigenvalues each of which is of infinite multiplicity. Spectral analysis of the d-bar-Neumann Laplacian on the Fock space is closely related to Schrödinger operators with magnetic field and to the complex Witten-Laplacian.
We introduce new classes of right quaternionic Hilbert spaces of Bargmann-Fock type $\mathcal{GB}_{m}^{2}(\mathbb{H})$, labeled by nonnegative integer $m$, generalizing the so-called slice hyperholomorphic Bargmann-Fock space introduced recently by Alpay, Colombo, Sabadini and Salomon (2014). They are realized as $L^2$-eigenspaces of a sliced second order differential operator. The concrete description of these spaces is investigated and involves the so-called quaternionic Hermite polynomials. Their basic properties are discussed and the explicit formulae of their reproducing kernels are given…
We give criteria for products of Toeplitz and Hankel operators on the Fock (Segal-Bargmann) space to belong to the Dixmier class, and compute their Dixmier trace. At the same time, analogous results for the Weyl pseudodifferential operators are also obtained.
In this paper, we study the Bergman kernel $B_φ(x,y)$ of generalized Bargmann-Fock spaces in the setting of Clifford algebra. The versions of $L^2$-estimate method and weighted subharmonic inequality for Clifford algebra are established. Consequently we show the existence of $B_φ(x,y)$ and then give some estimates on and off the diagonal. As a by-product, we also obtain an upper estimate of the weighted harmonic Bergman kernel.
This paper deals with some special integral transforms of Bargmann-Fock type in the setting of quaternionic valued slice hyperholomorphic and Cauchy-Fueter regular functions. The construction is based on the well-known Fueter mapping theorem. In particular, starting with the normalized Hermite functions we can construct an Appell system of quaternionic regular polynomials. The ranges of such integral transforms are quaternionic reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces of regular functions. New integral representations and generating functions in this quaternionic setting are obtained in both the Fock…
In this paper we study the compactness of operators on the Bergman space of the unit ball and on very generally weighted Bargmann-Fock spaces in terms of the behavior of their Berezin transforms and the norms of the operators acting on reproducing kernels. In particular, in the Bergman space setting we show how a vanishing Berezin transform combined with certain (integral) growth conditions on an operator $T$ are sufficient to imply that the operator is compact. In the weighted Bargmann-Fock space setting we show that the reproducing kernel thesis for compactness holds for operators satisfying…
The well know conjecture of {\it Coburn} [{\it L.A. Coburn, {On the Berezin-Toeplitz calculus}, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 129 (2001) 3331-3338.}] proved by {\it Lo} [{\it M-L. In this paper we introduce the classical Segal-Bargmann transform starting from the basis of Hermite polynomials and extend it to Clifford algebra-valued functions. Then we apply the results to monogenic functions and prove that the Segal-Bargmann kernel corresponds to the kernel of the Fourier-Borel transform for monogenic functionals. This kernel is also the reproducing kernel for the monogenic Bargmann module.
We prove that for every radial weighted Fock space, the system biorthogonal to a complete and minimal system of reproducing kernels is also complete under very mild regularity assumptions on the weight. This result generalizes a theorem by Young on reproducing kernels in the Paley--Wiener space and a recent result of Belov for the classical Bargmann--Segal--Fock space.
Let $f$ and $g$ be functions, not identically zero, in the Fock space $F^2$ of $C_n$. We show that the product $T_fT_{\bar g}$ of Toeplitz operators on $F^2$ is bounded if and only if $f(z)=e^{q(z)}$ and $g(z)=ce^{-q(z)}$, where $c$ is a nonzero constant and $q$ is a linear polynomial.
We characterize linear operators preserving zero-restrictions on entire functions in weighted Bargmann-Fock spaces. The characterization extends previous results of J. Borcea and the author to the realm of entire functions, and translates into an optimal, albeit formal, Lee-Yang theorem.
We prove upper pointwise estimates for the Bergman kernel of the weighted Fock space of entire functions in $L^2(e^{-2ϕ})$ where $ϕ$ is a subharmonic function with $Δϕ$ a doubling measure. We derive estimates for the canonical solution operator to the inhomogeneous Cauchy-Riemann equation and we characterize the compactness of this operator in terms of $Δϕ$.
We introduce and discuss some basic properties of some integral transforms in the framework of specific functional Hilbert spaces, the holomorphic Bargmann-Fock spaces on $\mathbb{C}$ and $\mathbb{C}^2$ and the slice hyperholomorphic Bargmann-Fock space on $\mathbb{H}$. The first one is a natural integral transform mapping isometrically the standard Hilbert space on the real line into the two-dimensional Bargmann-Fock space. It is obtained as composition of the one and two dimensional Segal-Bargmann transforms and reduces further to an extremely integral operator that looks like a composition …
In this paper we consider the distribution of the zeros of a real random Bargmann-Fock function of one or more variables. For these random functions we prove estimates for two types of families of events, both of which are large deviations from the mean. First, we prove that the probability there are no zeros in $[-r,r]^m\subset\R^m$ decays at least exponentially in terms of $r^m$. For this event we also prove a lower bound on the order of decay, which we do not expect to be sharp. Secondly, we compute the order of decay for the probability of families of events where the volume of the complex…
We study certain densely defined unbounded operators on the Fock space. These are the annihilation and creation operators of quantum mechanics. In several complex variables we have the $\partial$-operator and its adjoint $\partial^*$ acting on $(p,0)$-forms with coefficients in the Fock space. We consider the corresponding $\partial$-complex and study spectral properties of the corresponding complex Laplacian $\tilde \Box = \partial \partial^* + \partial^*\partial.$ Finally we study a more general complex Laplacian $\tilde \Box_D = D D^* + D^* D,$ where $D$ is a differential operator of polyno…
We give a characterization of complete interpolating sequences for the Fock spaces $\mathcal{F}^p_φ,\ 1\leq p<\infty$, where $φ(z)=α\left(\log^+|z|\right)^2,\ α>0$. Our results are {analogous} to the classical Kadets-Ingham's $1/4-$Theorem on perturbation of Riesz bases of complex exponentials, and they answer a question asked by A. Baranov, A. Dumont, A. Hartmann and K. Kellay in \cite[page 31]{baranov2015sampling}.
The Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domain $D_{n, m}(μ)$ is defined by $$ D_{n, m}(μ):=\{(z, w)\in\mathbb{C}^{n}\times\mathbb{C}^m:\Vert w \Vert^2<e^{-μ\Vert z \Vert^2}\},$$ where $μ>0.$ The Fock-Bargmann-Hartogs domain $D_{n, m}(μ)$ is an unbounded strongly pseudoconvex domain with smooth real-analytic boundary. In this paper, we first compute the weighted Bergman kernel of $D_{n, m}(μ)$ with respect to the weight $(-ρ)^α$, where $ρ(z,w):=\|w\|^2-e^{-μ\|z\|^2}$ is a defining function for $D_{n, m}(μ)$ and $α>-1$. Then, for $p\in [1,\infty),$ we show that the corresponding weighted Bergman projection $P…
We construct a natural sequence of middle Hankel operators on the Fock space, i.e. operators which are intermediate between the small and big Hankel operators. These operators are connected with the minimal $L^2$-norm solution operator to $\bar\partial^N$ as well as to the polyanalytic Fock spaces.
We study those smooth complex hypersurfaces W in C^n having the property that all holomorphic functions of finite weighted L^p norm on W extend to entire functions with finite weighted L^p norm. Such hypersurfaces are called interpolation hypersurfaces. We also examine the dual problem of finding all sampling hypersurfaces, i.e., smooth hypersurfaces W in C^n such that any entire function with finite weighted L^p norm is stably determined by its restriction to W. We provide sufficient geometric conditions on the hypersurface to be an interpolation and sampling hypersurface. The geometric condi…
We provide a boundedness criterion for the integral operator $S_φ$ on the fractional Fock-Sobolev space $F^{s,2}(\mathbb C^n)$, $s\geq 0$, where $S_φ$ (introduced by Kehe Zhu) is given by \begin{eqnarray*} S_φF(z):= \int_{\mathbb{C}^n} F(w) e^{z \cdot\bar{w}} φ(z- \bar{w}) dλ(w) \end{eqnarray*} with $φ$ in the Fock space $F^2(\mathbb C^n)$ and $dλ(w): = π^{-n} e^{-|w|^2} dw$ the Gaussian measure on the complex space $\mathbb{C}^{n}$. This extends the recent result in Cao--Li--Shen--Wick--Yan. The main approach is to develop multipliers on the fractional Hermite-Sobolev space $W_H^{s,2}(\mathbb…
We introduce an extended class of cross-Toeplitz operators which act between Fock--Segal--Bargmann spaces with different weights. It is natural to consider these operators in the framework of representation theory of the Heisenberg group. Our main technique is representation of cross-Toeplitz by two-sided relative convolutions from the Heisenberg group. In turn, two-sided convolutions are reduced to usual (one-sided) convolutions on the Heisenberg group of the doubled dimensionality. This allows us to utilise the powerful group-representation technique of coherent states, co- and contra-varian…
The space of entire functions which are integrable with respect to the Gaussian weight, known also as the Fock space, is one of the preferred functional Hilbert spaces for modelling and experimenting harmonic analysis, quantum mechanics or spectral analysis phenomena. This space of entire functions carries a three parameter family of canonical isometric involutions. We characterize the linear differential operators acting on Fock space which are complex symmetric with respect to these conjugations. In parallel, as a basis of comparison, we discuss the structure of self-adjoint linear different…
The purpose of this paper is to study the Sarason's problem on Fock spaces of polyanalytic functions. Namely, given two polyanalytic symbols $f$ and $g$, we establish a necessary and sufficient condition for the boundedness of some Toeplitz products $ T_{f}T_{\bar g}$ subjected to certain restriction on $f$ and $g$. We also characterize this property in terms of the Berezin transform.
Continuing our earlier investigation of the Hermite case [J. Math. Phys. 55 (2014), 042102], we study an unorthodox variant of the Berezin-Toeplitz quantization scheme associated with Laguerre polynomials. In particular, we describe a "Laguerre analogue" of the classical Fock (Segal-Bargmann) space and the relevant semi-classical asymptotics of its Toeplitz operators; the former actually turns out to coincide with the Hilbert space appearing in the construction of the well-known Barut-Girardello coherent states. Further extension to the case of Legendre polynomials is likewise discussed.
It was known to von Neumann in the 1950's that the integer lattice $\mathbb{Z}^2$ forms a uniqueness set for the Bargmann-Fock space. It was later demonstrated by Seip and Wallstén that a sequence of points $Γ$ that is uniformly close to the integer lattice is still a uniqueness set. We show in this paper that the uniqueness sets for the Fock space are preserved under much more general perturbations.
