On Hyper Singular Integral Operators over Weighted Sobolev Spaces

备注:
This article is about hyper singular integral operators defined over Sobolev spaces with weight. The weight on the volume measure is to control or eliminate exponents of singulaities caused by the integrands
In this paper we study singular integral operators which are hyper or weak over Lipschitz or Holder spaces and over weghted Sobolev spaces defined on unbounded domains in the standard $n$-D space $R^n$ for $n>0$. The $π$-operator in this case is one of the hyper integral operators which has been studied extensively than other hyper singular integral operators. It will be shown the control of singularity of such integral operators that are defined interms of Cauchy generating kernels by working on weghted Sobolev spaces $W^{p,k}(Ω,|x|^{ζ+epsilon}dx)$ for some $ε>0$ and $ζ$ some positive integer.
We study the removability of a singular set for elliptic equations involving weight functions and variable exponents. We consider the case where the singular set satisfies conditions related to some generalization of upper Minkowski content or a net measure, and give sufficient conditions for removability of this singularity for equations in the weighted variable exponent Sobolev spaces.
In this paper, we study the sharp Poincaré inequality and the Sobolev inequalities in the higher order Lorentz--Sobolev spaces in the hyperbolic spaces. These results generalize the ones obtained in \cite{Nguyen2020a} to the higher order derivatives and seem to be new in the context of the Lorentz--Sobolev spaces defined in the hyperbolic spaces.
In this note we show that the general theory of vector valued singular integral operators of Calderón-Zygmund defined on general metric measure spaces, can be applied to obtain Sobolev type regularity properties for solutions of the dyadic fractional Laplacian. In doing so, we define partial derivatives in terms of Haar multipliers and dyadic homogeneous singular integral operators.
In this paper, we study the existence of traces for Sobolev spaces on the hyperbolic filling $X$ of a compact metric space $Z$ equipped with a doubling measure. Given a suitable metric on $X$, we can regard $Z$ as the boundary of $X$. After equipping $X$ with a weighted measure $μ$ via the measure on $Z$ and the Euclidean arc length, we give characterizations for the existence of traces for first-order Sobolev spaces.
We consider the Sobolev space over $\mathbb{R}^d$ of square integrable functions whose gradient is also square integrable with respect to some positive weight. Tt is well known that smooth functions are dense in the weighted Sobolev space when the weight is uniformly bounded from below and above. This may not be the case when the weight is unbounded. In this paper, we focus on a class of two dimensional weights where the density of smooth functions does not hold. This class was originally introduced by V.V. Zhikov; such weights have a unique singularity point of non-zero capacity. Following V.…
The structure of non-compactness of optimal Sobolev embeddings of $m$-th order into the class of Lebesgue spaces and into that of all rearrangement-invariant function spaces is quantitatively studied. Sharp two-sided estimates of Bernstein numbers of such embeddings are obtained. It is shown that, whereas the optimal Sobolev embedding within the class of Lebesgue spaces is finitely strictly singular, the optimal Sobolev embedding in the class of all rearrangement-invariant function spaces is not even strictly singular.
In this note, we establish a $L^p-$version of the Poincaré--Sobolev inequalities in the hyperbolic spaces $\mathbb H^n$. The interest of this result is that it relates both the Poincaré (or Hardy) inequality and the Sobolev inequality with the sharp constant in $\mathbb H^n$. Our approach is based on the comparison of the $L^p-$norm of gradient of the symmetric decreasing rearrangement of a function in both the hyperbolic space and the Euclidean space, and the sharp Sobolev inequalities in Euclidean spaces. This approach also gives the proof of the Poincaré--Gagliardo--Nirenberg and Poincaré--…
Let $W^1L^{p,q}(\mathbb H^n)$, $1\leq q,p < \infty$ denote the Lorentz-Sobolev spaces of order one in the hyperbolic spaces $\mathbb H^n$. Our aim in this paper is three-fold. First of all, we establish a sharp Poincaré inequality in $W^1L^{p,q}(\mathbb H^n)$ with $1\leq q \leq p$ which generalizes the result in \cite{NgoNguyenAMV} to the setting of Lorentz-Sobolev spaces. Second, we prove several sharp Poincaré-Sobolev type inequalities in $W^1L^{p,q}(\mathbb H^n)$ with $1\leq q \leq p < n$ which generalize the results in \cite{NguyenPS2018} to the setting of Lorentz-Sobolev spaces. Finally, …
We establish several Poincaré--Sobolev type inequalities for the Lapalce--Beltrami operator $Δ_g$ in the hyperbolic space $\mathbb H^n$ with $n\geq 5$. These inequalities could be seen as the improved second order Poincaré inequality with remainder terms involving with the sharp Rellich inequality or sharp Sobolev inequality in $\mathbb H^n$. The novelty of these inequalities is that it combines both the sharp Poincaré inequality and the sharp Rellich inequality or the sharp Sobolev inequality for $Δ_g$ in $\mathbb H^n$. As a consequence, we obtain the Poincaré--Sobolev inequality for the seco…
We establish the local and global theory for the Cauchy problem of the singular Hartree equation in three dimensions, that is, the modification of the non-linear Schrödinger equation with Hartree non-linearity, where the linear part is now given by the Hamiltonian of point interaction. The latter is a singular, self-adjoint perturbation of the free Laplacian, modelling a contact interaction at a fixed point. The resulting non-linear equation is the typical effective equation for the dynamics of condensed Bose gases with fixed point-like impurities. We control the local solution theory in the p…
This note, mostly expository, is devoted to Poincar{é} and log-Sobolev inequalities for a class of Boltzmann-Gibbs measures with singular interaction. Such measures allow to model one-dimensional particles with confinement and singular pair interaction. The functional inequalities come from convexity. We prove and characterize optimality in the case of quadratic confinement via a factorization of the measure. This optimality phenomenon holds for all beta Hermite ensembles including the Gaussian unitary ensemble, a famous exactly solvable model of random matrix theory. We further explore exact …
We introduce an operator $\mathbf{S}$ on vector-valued maps $u$ which has the ability to capture the relevant topological information carried by $u$. In particular, this operator is defined on maps that take values in a closed submanifold $N$ of the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^m$, and coincides with the distributional Jacobian in case $N$ is a sphere. The range of $\mathbf{S}$ is a set of maps whose values are flat chains with coefficients in a suitable normed abelian group. In this paper, we use $\mathbf{S}$ to characterise strong limits of smooth, $N$-valued maps with respect to Sobolev norm…
In this paper we introduce new function spaces which we call anisotropic hyperbolic Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces. Their definition is based on a hyperbolic Littlewood-Paley analysis involving an anisotropy vector only occurring in the smoothness weights. Such spaces provide a general and natural setting in order to understand what kind of anisotropic smoothness can be described using hyperbolic wavelets (in the literature also sometimes called tensor-product wavelets), a wavelet class which hitherto has been mainly used to characterize spaces of dominating mixed smoothness. A centerpiece …
Under certain conditions, an element of a tensor product space can be identified with a compact operator and the singular value decomposition (SVD) applies to the latter. These conditions are not fulfilled in Sobolev spaces. In the previous part of this work (part I), we introduced some preliminary notions in the theory of tensor product spaces. We analyzed low-rank approximations in H1 and the error of the SVD performed in the ambient L2 space. In this work (part II), we continue by considering variants of the SVD in norms stronger than the L2-norm. Overall and, perhaps surprisingly, this lea…
We obtain some nonlocal characterizations for a class of variable exponent Sobolev spaces arising in nonlinear elasticity theory and in the theory of electrorheological fluids. We also get a singular limit formula extending Nguyen results to the anisotropic case.
A well known result from functional analysis states that any compact operator between Hilbert spaces admits a singular value decomposition (SVD). This decomposition is a powerful tool that is the workhorse of many methods both in mathematics and applied fields. A prominent application in recent years is the approximation of high-dimensional functions in a low-rank format. This is based on the fact that, under certain conditions, a tensor can be identified with a compact operator and SVD applies to the latter. One key assumption for this application is that the tensor product norm is not weaker…
We show that in a bounded Gromov hyperbolic domain $Ω$ smooth functions with bounded derivatives $C^\infty(Ω)\cap W^{k,\infty}(Ω)$ are dense in the homogeneous Sobolev spaces $L^{k,p}(Ω)$.
Sobolev wavefront sets and $2$-microlocal spaces play a key role in describing and analyzing the singularities of distributions in microlocal analysis and solutions of partial differential equations. Employing the continuous shearlet transform to Sobolev spaces, in this paper we characterize the microlocal Sobolev wavefront sets, the $2$-microlocal spaces, and local Hölder spaces of distributions/functions. We then establish the connections among Sobolev wavefront sets, $2$-microlocal spaces, and local Hölder spaces through the continuous shearlet transform.
