Using adjoint representation of Lie superalgebras, we obtain the matrix form of super-Jacobi and mixed super-Jacobi identities of Lie superbialgebras. By direct calculations of these identities, and use of automorphism supergroups of two and three dimensional Lie superalgebras, we obtain and classify all two and three dimensional Lie superbialgebras.
Classical r-matrices of the three-dimensional real Lie bialgebras are obtained. In this way all three-dimensional real coboundary Lie bialgebras and their types (triangular, quasitriangular or factorizable) are classified. Then, by using the Sklyanin bracket, the Poisson structures on the related Poisson-Lie groups are obtained.
We obtain the classical r-matrices of two and three dimensional Lie super-bialgebras. We thus classify all two and three dimensional coboundary Lie super-bialgebras and their types (triangular, quasi-triangular, or factorable). Using the Sklyanin superbracket, we then obtain the super Poisson structures on the related Poisson-Lie supergroups.
We characterize finite-dimensional Lie algebras over an arbitrary field of characteristic zero which admit a non-trivial (quasi-) triangular Lie bialgebra structure.
In this research we obtain the classical r-matrices of real two and three dimensional Jacobi-Lie bialgebras. In this way, we classify all non-isomorphic real two and three dimensional coboundary Jacobi-Lie bialgebras and their types (triangular and quasitriangular). Also, we obtain the generalized Sklyanin bracket formula by use of which, we calculate the Jacobi structures on the related Jacobi-Lie groups. Finally, we present a new method for constructing classical integrable systems using coboundary Jacobi-Lie bialgebras.
3-Lie algebras have close relationships with many important fields in mathematics and mathematical physics. The paper concerns 3-Lie algebras. The concepts of 3-Lie coalgebras and 3-Lie bialgebras are given. The structures of such categories of algebras, and the relationships with 3-Lie algebras are studied. And the classification of 3-dimensional 3-Lie coalgebras and 3-Lie bialgebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero are provided.
We describe the definition of Jacobi (generalized)-Lie bialgebras $(({\bf{g}},ϕ_{0}),({\bf{g}}^{*},X_{0}))$ in terms of structure constants of the Lie algebras ${\bf{g}}$ and ${\bf{g}}^{*}$ and components of their 1-cocycles $X_{0}\in {\bf{g}}$ and $ϕ_{0}\in {\bf{g}}^{*}$ in the basis of the Lie algebras. Then, using adjoint representations and automorphism Lie groups of Lie algebras, we give a method for classification of real low dimensional Jacobi-Lie bialgebras. In this way, we obtain and classify real two and three dimensional Jacobi-Lie bialgebras.
This work pioneers the systematic study and classification (up to Lie algebra automorphisms) of finite-dimensional coboundary Lie bialgebras through Grassmann algebras. Several mathematical structures on Lie algebras, e.g. Killing forms or root decompositions, are extended to the Grassmann algebras of Lie algebras. This simplifies the description of the procedures and tools appearing in the theory of Lie bialgebras and originates novel techniques for its study and classification up to Lie algebra automorphisms. As a particular case, the classification of real three-dimensional coboundary Lie b…
We study the Hom-type generalization of infinitesimal bialgebras, called infinitesimal Hom-bialgebras. In particular, we consider infinitesimal Hom-bialgebras arising from quivers, the sub-classes of coboundary and quasi-triangular infinitesimal Hom-bialgebras, the associative Hom-Yang-Baxter equation, and homological perturbation of the comultiplications in infinitesimal Hom-bialgebras. The relationships between infinitesimal Hom-bialgebras, Hom-Lie bialgebras, and the classical Hom-Yang-Baxter equation are also studied.
The aim of this paper is to extend the notion of bialgebra for Leibniz algebras (and Lie algebras) to $3$-Leibniz algebras (and $3$-Lie algebras) by use of the cohomology complex of $3$-Leibniz algebras. Also, some theorems about Leibniz bialgebras are extended and proved in the case of $3$-Leibniz bialgebras ($3$-Lie bialgebras). Moreover, a new theorem on the correspondence between $3$-Leibniz bialgebra and its associated Leibniz bialgebra is proved. Finally, some examples are discussed in detail.
We construct integrable Hamiltonian systems with Lie bialgebras $({\bf g} , {\bf \tilde{g}})$ of the bi-symplectic type for which the Poisson-Lie groups ${\bf G}$ play the role of the phase spaces, and their dual Lie groups ${\bf {\tilde {G}}}$ play the role of the symmetry groups of the systems. We give the new transformations to exchange the role of phase spaces and symmetry groups and obtain the relations between integrals of motions of these integrable systems. Finally, we give some examples of real four-dimensional Lie bialgebras of bi-symplectic type.
This paper studies two types of 3-Lie bialgebras whose compatibility conditions between the multiplication and comultiplication are given by local cocycles and double constructions respectively, and are therefore called the local cocycle 3-Lie bialgebra and the double construction 3-Lie bialgebra. They can be regarded as suitable extensions of the well-known Lie bialgebra in the context of 3-Lie algebras, in two different directions. The local cocycle 3-Lie bialgebra is introduced to extend the connection between Lie bialgebras and the classical Yang-Baxter equation. Its relationship with a te…
We establish a bialgebra structure on Rota-Baxter Lie algebras following the Manin triple approach to Lie bialgebras. Explicitly, Rota-Baxter Lie bialgebras are characterized by generalizing matched pairs of Lie algebras and Manin triples of Lie algebras to the context of Rota-Baxter Lie algebras. The coboundary case leads to the introduction of the admissible classical Yang-Baxter equation (CYBE) in Rota-Baxter Lie algebras, for which the antisymmetric solutions give rise to Rota-Baxter Lie bialgebras. The notions of $\mathcal{O}$-operators on Rota-Baxter Lie algebras and Rota-Baxter pre-Lie …
The $n$-Lie bialgebras are studied. In Section 2, the $n$-Lie coalgebra with rank $r$ is defined, and the structure of it is discussed. In Section 3, the $n$-Lie bialgebra is introduced. A triple $(L, μ, Δ)$ is an $n$-Lie bialgebra if and only if $Δ$ is a conformal $1$-cocycle on the $n$-Lie algebra $L$ associated to $L$-modules $(L^{\otimes n}, ρ_s^μ)$, $1\leq s\leq n$, and the structure of $n$-Lie bialgebras is investigated by the structural constants. In Section 4, two-dimensional extension of finite dimensional $n$-Lie bialgebras are studied. For an $m$ dimensional $n$-Lie bialgebra $(L, μ…
We introduce the notion of weak Lie 2-bialgebra. Roughly, a weak Lie 2-bialgebra is a pair of compatible 2-term $L_\infty$-algebra structures on a vector space and its dual. The compatibility condition is described in terms of the big bracket. We prove that (strict) Lie 2-bialgebras are in one-one correspondence with crossed modules of Lie bialgebras.
In the present paper we shall investigate the Lie bialgebra structures on the Lie algebra $\widetilde{\frak{sl}_2(C_q[x,y])}$, which are shown to be triangular coboundary.
The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study super Hom-Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras and Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras. In this paper, we provide different ways for constructing super Hom-Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras and obtain some infinite-dimensional Hom-Lie superalgebras from affinization of super Hom-Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras. Also, we give a general construction of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras from Hom-Lie superalgebras and establish equivalence of quadratic Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and super Hom-Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras. Finally, we characterize one-dimensional cent…
Structures of dual Lie bialgebras on the one sided Witt algebra, the Witt algebra and the Virasoro algebra are investigated. As a result, we obtain some infinite dimensional Lie algebras.
The aim of this paper is to introduce the notions of Hom Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebra and Hom-Lie conformal algebra. In this paper, we give four constructions of Hom Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras. Also, we provide a general construction of Hom-Lie conformal algebras from Hom-Lie algebras. Finally, we prove that a Hom Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebra is equivalent to a Hom-Lie conformal algebra of degree 2.
Let M be a smooth, simply-connected, closed oriented manifold, and LM the free loop space of M. Using a Poincare duality model for M, we show that the reduced equivariant homology of LM has the structure of a Lie bialgebra, and we construct a Hopf algebra which quantizes the Lie bialgebra.
In this paper, Lie bialgebra structures on generalized Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra $\mathfrak{L}$ are considered. Also, $H^1({\mathfrak{L}} ,\mathfrak{L}\bigotimes\mathfrak{L})$ is given explicitly. Moreover, it is proved that all Lie bialgebra structure on centerless generalized Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra $\bar{\mathfrak{L}}$ are coboundary triangular.
Lie bialgebra structures on the extended affine Lie algebra $\widetilde{sl_2(\mathbb{C}_q)}$ are investigated. In particular, all Lie bialgebra structures on $\widetilde{sl_2(\mathbb{C}_q)}$ are shown to be triangular coboundary. This result is obtained by employing some techniques, which may also work for more general extended affine Lie algebras, to prove the triviality of the first cohomology group of $\widetilde{sl_2(\mathbb{C}_q)}$ with coefficients in the tensor product of its adjoint module, namely, $H^1(\widetilde{sl_2(\mathbb{C}_q)},\widetilde{sl_2(\mathbb{C}_q)}\otimes\widetilde{sl_2…
In this paper, first we introduce the notion of quadratic Rota-Baxter Lie algebras of arbitrary weight, and show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between factorizable Lie bialgebras and quadratic Rota-Baxter Lie algebras of nonzero weight. Then we introduce the notions of matched pairs, bialgebras and Manin triples of Rota-Baxter Lie algebras of arbitrary weight, and show that Rota-Baxter Lie bialgebras, Manin triples of Rota-Baxter Lie algebras and certain matched pairs of Rota-Baxter Lie algebras are equivalent. The coadjoint representations and quadratic Rota-Baxter Lie algebras pl…
In this paper, we study Lie 2-bialgebras, with special attention to coboundary ones, with the help of the cohomology theory of $L_\infty$-algebras with coefficients in $L_\infty$-modules. We construct examples of strict Lie 2-bialgebras from left-symmetric algebras and symplectic Lie algebras.
In this paper, we study the structure of 3-Lie algebras with involutive derivations. We prove that if $A$ is an $m$-dimensional 3-Lie algebra with an involutive derivation $D$, then there exists a compatible 3-pre-Lie algebra $(A, \{ , , , \}_D)$ such that $A$ is the sub-adjacent 3-Lie algebra, and there is a local cocycle $3$-Lie bialgebraic structure on the $2m$-dimensional semi-direct product 3-Lie algebra $A\ltimes_{ad^*} A^*$, which is associated to the adjoint representation $(A, ad)$. By means of involutive derivations, the skew-symmetric solution of the 3-Lie classical Yang-Baxter equa…
We study (quasi-)twilled pre-Lie algebras and the associated $L_\infty$-algebras and differential graded Lie algebras. Then we show that certain twisting transformations on (quasi-)twilled pre-Lie algbras can be characterized by the solutions of Maurer-Cartan equations of the associated differential graded Lie algebras ($L_\infty$-algebras). Furthermore, we show that $\mathcal{O}$-operators and twisted $\mathcal{O}$-operators are solutions of the Maurer-Cartan equations. As applications, we study (quasi-)pre-Lie bialgebras using the associated differential graded Lie algebras ($L_\infty$-algeb…
The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of a mock-Lie bialgebra which is equivalent to a Manin triple of mock-Lie algebras. The study of a special case called coboundary mock-Lie bialgebra leads to the introduction the mock-Lie Yang-Baxter equation on a mock-Lie algebra which is an analogue of the classical Yang-Baxter equation on a Lie algebra. Note that a skew-symmetric solution of mock-Lie Yang-Baxter equation gives a mock-Lie bialgebra. Finally, the notation of $\mathcal O$-operators are studied to construct skew-symmetric solution of mock-Lie Yang-Baxter equation.
All Lie bialgebra structures for the (1+1)-dimensional centrally extended Schrodinger algebra are explicitly derived and proved to be of the coboundary type. Therefore, since all of them come from a classical r-matrix, the complete family of Schrodinger Poisson-Lie groups can be deduced by means of the Sklyanin bracket. All possible embeddings of the harmonic oscillator, extended Galilei and gl(2) Lie bialgebras within the Schrodinger classification are studied. As an application, new quantum (Hopf algebra) deformations of the Schrodinger algebra, including their corresponding quantum universa…
In this paper, we give some low-dimensional examples of local cocycle 3-Lie bialgebras and double construction 3-Lie bialgebras which were introduced in the study of the classical Yang-Baxter equation and Manin triples for 3-Lie algebras. We give an explicit and practical formula to compute the skew-symmetric solutions of the 3-Lie classical Yang-Baxter equation (CYBE). As an illustration, we obtain all skew-symmetric solutions of the 3-Lie CYBE in complex 3-Lie algebras of dimension 3 and 4 and then the induced local cocycle 3-Lie bialgebras. On the other hand, we classify the double construc…
Motivated by recent work on Hom-Lie algebras and the Hom-Yang-Baxter equation, we introduce a twisted generalization of the classical Yang-Baxter equation (CYBE), called the classical Hom-Yang-Baxter equation (CHYBE). We show how an arbitrary solution of the CYBE induces multiple infinite families of solutions of the CHYBE. We also introduce the closely related structure of Hom-Lie bialgebras, which generalize Drinfel'd's Lie bialgebras. In particular, we study the questions of duality and cobracket perturbation and the sub-classes of coboundary and quasi-triangular Hom-Lie bialgebras.
We study pseudoalgebras from the point of view of pseudo-dual of classical Lie coalgebra structures. We define the notions of Lie H-coalgebra and Lie pseudo-bialgebra. We obtain the analog of the CYBE, the Manin triples and Drinfeld's double for Lie pseudo-bialgebras. We also get a natural description of the annihilation algebra associated to a pseudoalgebra as a convolution algebra, clarifying this constructions in the theory of pseudoalgebras.
In this paper, first we show that there is a Hom-Lie algebra structure on the set of $(σ,σ)$-derivations of a commutative algebra. Then we construct dual representations of a representation of a Hom-Lie algebra. We introduce the notions of a Manin triple for Hom-Lie algebras and a purely Hom-Lie bialgebra. Using the coadjoint representation, we show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between Manin triples for Hom-Lie algebras and purely Hom-Lie bialgebras. Finally, we study coboundary purely Hom-Lie bialgebras and construct solutions of the classical Hom-Yang-Baxter equations in some sp…
We introduce a notion of left-symmetric bialgebra which is an analogue of the notion of Lie bialgebra. We prove that a left-symmetric bialgebra is equivalent to a symplectic Lie algebra with a decomposition into a direct sum of the underlying vector spaces of two Lagrangian subalgebras. The latter is called a parakähler Lie algebra or a phase space of a Lie algebra in mathematical physics. We introduce and study coboundary left-symmetric bialgebras and our study leads to what we call "$S$-equation", which is an analogue of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. In a certain sense, the $S$-equatio…
We describe $L_\infty$-algebras governing homotopy relative Rota-Baxter Lie algebras and triangular $L_\infty$-bialgebras, and establish a map between them. Our formulas are based on a functorial approach to Voronov's higher derived brackets construction which is of independent interest.
In this paper, we introduce a new definition of a hom-Lie bialgebra, which is equivalent to a Manin triple of hom-Lie algebras. We also introduce a notion of an $\mathcal O$-operator and then construct solutions of the classical hom-Yang-Baxter equation in terms of $\mathcal O$-operators and hom-left-symmetric algebras.
The Atiyah class was originally introduced by M.F. Atiyah. It has many developments in recent years. One important case is the Atiyah classes of Lie algebra pairs. In this paper, we study the Atiyah class of the Lie algebra pair associated with a Lie bialgebra $(g,g^*)$. A simple description of the Atiyah class and the first scalar Atiyah class is given by the Lie algebra structures on $g$ and $g^*$. As its application, the Atiyah classes for some special cases are investigated.
The aim of this article is to give a quantization of some coisotropic subalgebras in complex semisimple Lie bialgebras. The coisotropic subalgebras that will be quantized are those given by Zambon in his paper "`A Construction for coisotropic subalgebras of Lie Bialgebras"' [Zam08]. We will also extend the construction for the exceptional complex semisimple Lie bialgebras.
In this work we study a particular class of Lie bialgebras arising from Hermitian structures on Lie algebras such that the metric is ad-invariant. We will refer to them as Lie bialgebras of complex type. These give rise to Poisson Lie groups G whose corresponding duals G* are complex Lie groups. We also prove that a Hermitian structure on the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ with ad-invariant metric induces a structure of the same type on the double Lie algebra ${\mathcal D}\mathfrak{g}= \mathfrak{g}\oplus\mathfrak{g}^*$, with respect to the canonical ad-invariant metric of neutral signature on ${\m…
$A_\infty$ categories are a mathematical structure that appears in topological field theory, string topology, and symplectic topology. This paper studies the cyclic homology of a Calabi-Yau $A_\infty$ category, and shows that it is naturally an equivariant topological conformal field theory, and in particular, contains an involutive Lie bialgebra. Applications of the theory to string topology and the Fukaya category are given; in particular, it is shown that there is a Lie bialgebra homomorphism from the cyclic cohomology of the Fukaya category of a symplectic manifold with contact type bounda…
We study classical twists of Lie bialgebra structures on the polynomial current algebra $\mathfrak{g}[u]$, where $\mathfrak{g}$ is a simple complex finite-dimensional Lie algebra. We focus on the structures induced by the so-called quasi-trigonometric solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. It turns out that quasi-trigonometric $r$-matrices fall into classes labelled by the vertices of the extended Dynkin diagram of $\mathfrak{g}$. We give complete classification of quasi-trigonometric $r$-matrices belonging to multiplicity free simple roots (which have coefficient 1 in the decomposit…
We study a twisted version of the Yang-Baxter Equation, called the Hom-Yang-Baxter Equation (HYBE), which is motivated by Hom-Lie algebras. Three classes of solutions of the HYBE are constructed, one from Hom-Lie algebras and the others from Drinfeld's (dual) quasi-triangular bialgebras. Each solution of the HYBE can be extended to operators that satisfy the braid relations. Assuming an invertibility condition, these operators give a representation of the braid group.
