Within Resonance Chiral Theory and in the context of QCD current correlators at next-to-leading order in 1/N(C), we have analyzed the two-body form factors which include resonances as a final state . The short-distance constraints have been studied. One of the main motivations is the estimation of the chiral low-energy constants at subleading order, that is, keeping full control of the renormalization scale dependence. As an application we show the resonance estimation of some coupling, L(10)(mu_0)=(-4.4 \pm 0.9)10^{-3} and C(87)(mu_0)=(3.1 \pm 1.1)10^{-5}.
We show that Jet Energy Correlation variables can be used effectively to discover and distinguish a wide variety of boosted light dijet resonances at the LHC through sensitivity to their transverse momentum and color structures.
Form Factor for $B{\to}D l\tildeν$ in Light-Cone Sum Rules With Chiral Current Correlator
In this paper, we study the $B \to K^*$ transition form factors (TFFs) within the QCD light-cone sum rules (LCSR) approach. Two correlators, i.e. the usual one and the right-handed one, are adopted in the LCSR calculation. The resultant LCSRs for the $B \to K^*$ TFFs are arranged according to the twist structure of the $K^*$-meson light-cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs), whose twist-2, twist-3 and twist-4 terms behave quite differently by using different correlators. We observe that the twist-4 LCDAs, though generally small, shall have sizable contributions to the TFFs $A_{1/2}$, $V$ and $T…
Explicit expressions for pion correlators are derived in position-space, employing Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT). Resonance exchange contributions are included to test the range of applicability of the leading-order ChPT expressions. The obtained results will be useful for a forthcoming Lattice-QCD study of double parton distributions in the pion.
We present cross-correlators of QCD conserved charges at $μ_B=0$ from lattice simulations and perform a Hadron Resonance Gas (HRG) model analysis to break down the hadronic contributions to these correlators. We construct a suitable hadronic proxy for the ratio $-χ_{11}^{BS}/χ_2^S$ and discuss the dependence on the chemical potential and experimental cuts. We then perform a comparison to preliminary STAR results and comment on a possible direct comparison of lattice and experiment.
We extend the cosmological bootstrap to correlators involving massless particles with spin. In de Sitter space, these correlators are constrained both by symmetries and by locality. In particular, the de Sitter isometries become conformal symmetries on the future boundary of the spacetime, which are reflected in a set of Ward identities that the boundary correlators must satisfy. We solve these Ward identities by acting with weight-shifting operators on scalar seed solutions. Using this weight-shifting approach, we derive three- and four-point correlators of massless spin-1 and spin-2 fields w…
We present continuum extrapolated results of charmonium and bottomonium correlators in the vector channel at several temperatures below and above $T_c$. The continuum extrapolation jointly performed with the interpolations to have physical values of $J/ψ$ and $Υ$ masses in the confined phase is based on calculations on several large quenched isotropic lattices using clover-improved Wilson valence fermions carrying different quark masses. The extrapolated lattice correlators are confronted with perturbation theory results incorporating resummed thermal effects around the threshold from pNRQCD a…
We construct a general QCD light front formalism to compute many-body color charge correlators in the proton. These form factors can be extracted from deeply inelastic scattering measurements of exclusive final states in analogy to electromagnetic form factors extracted in elastic electron scattering experiments. Particularly noteworthy is the potential to extract a novel Odderon form factor, either indirectly from exclusive $J/Ψ$ measurements, or directly from exclusive measurements of the $η_c$ or tensor mesons at large Bjorken x. Besides the intrinsic information conveyed by these color cha…
Like fluctuations, non-diagonal correlators of conserved charges provide a tool for the study of chemical freeze-out in heavy ion collisions. They can be calculated in thermal equilibrium using lattice simulations, and be connected to moments of event-by-event net-particle multiplicity distributions. We calculate them from continuum extrapolated lattice simulations at $μ_B=0$, and present a finite-$μ_B$ extrapolation, comparing two different methods. In order to relate the grand canonical observables to the experimentally available net-particle fluctuations and correlations, we perform a Hadro…
In a multiphase transport model with the initial electric quadrupole moment, we studied and discussed the charge asymmetry ($A_{\rm ch}$) dependence of flow at varied kinematic windows in semi-central Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 200 GeV. We then proposed a novel correlator $W$ which specially focuses on the difference of elliptic flow between positively and negatively charged hadrons induced by the chiral magnetic wave and, more importantly, is irrelevant to the ambiguous $A_{\rm ch}$. We found that the distribution of the second order correlator $W_2$ displays a convex structure…
The energy correlator measures the energy deposited in multiple detectors as a function of the angles among them. In this paper, an analytic formula is given for the three-point energy correlator with full angle dependence at leading order in electron-positron annihilation. This is the first analytic computation of trijet event shape observables in QCD, which provides valuable data for phenomenological studies. The result is computed with direct integration, where appropriate parameterizations of both phase space and kinematic space are adopted to simplify the calculation. With full shape depe…
In applying large-momentum effective theory, renormalization of the Euclidean correlators in lattice regularization is a challenge due to linear divergences in the self-energy of Wilson lines. Based on lattice QCD matrix elements of the quasi-PDF operator at lattice spacing $a$= 0.03 fm $\sim$ 0.12 fm with clover and overlap valence quarks on staggered and domain-wall sea, we design a strategy to disentangle the divergent renormalization factors from finite physics matrix elements, which can be matched to a continuum scheme at short distance such as dimensional regularization and minimal subtr…
