We construct a class of theories which are scale invariant on quantum level in all orders of perturbation theory. In a subclass of these models scale invariance is spontaneously broken, leading to the existence of a massless dilaton. The applications of these results to the problem of stability of the electroweak scale against quantum corrections, to the cosmological constant problem and to dark energy are discussed.
In the `condensed phase' of effective quantum field theories one expects deviations from exact Lorentz invariance at ultralow momenta | k| < delta where the shell 'delta' should only vanish in the strict local limit of the theory when the ultraviolet cutoff 'Lambda' tends to infinity. I explore this idea for the Higgs condensate suggesting that, in this case, the resulting relation connecting 'delta', 'Lambda' and the Fermi scale might provide a simple physical solution of the `hierarchy problem'. In this picture, the Planck scale is not a purely ultraviolet quantity but embodies in its numeri…
Proposing new solution problems of the hierarchy and smallness of the cosmological constant using the Tev scale of the Standard Model in new framework of the higher-order gravity.
Combining the quantum scale invariance with the absence of new degrees of freedom above the electroweak scale leads to stability of the latter against perturbative quantum corrections. Nevertheless, the hierarchy between the weak and the Planck scales remains unexplained. We argue that this hierarchy can be generated by a non-perturbative effect relating the low energy and the Planck-scale physics. The effect is manifested in the existence of an instanton configuration contributing to the vacuum expectation value of the Higgs field. We analyze such configurations in several toy models and in a…
We study gravity coupled to a cosmological constant and a scale but not conformally invariant sector. In Minkowski vacuum, scale invariance is spontaneously broken. We consider small fluctuations around the Minkowski vacuum. At the linearised level we find that the trace of metric perturbations receives a positive or negative mass squared contribution. However, only for the Fierz-Pauli combination the theory is free of ghosts. The mass term for the trace of metric perturbations can be cancelled by explicitly breaking scale invariance. This reintroduces fine-tuning. Models based on four form fi…
If scale invariance is a classical symmetry then both the Planck scale and the weak scale should emerge as quantum effects. We show that this can be realized in simple scale invariant theories with a hidden sector. The weak/Planck scale hierarchy emerges in the (technically natural) limit where the hidden sector decouples from the ordinary sector. The weak scale is protected from quadratic divergences because of classical scale invariance, so there is no hierarchy problem.
The brane world based on the 6D gravitational model is examined. It is regarded as a higher dimensional version of the 5D model by Randall and Sundrum >. The obtained analytic solution is checked by the numerical method. The mass hierarchy is examined. Especially the {\it geometrical see-saw} mass relation, between the Planck mass, the cosmological constant, and the neutrino mass, is suggested. Comparison with the 5D model is made.
We elaborate on the recently proposed static brane world scenario, where the effective 4-D cosmological constant is exponentially small when parallel 3-branes are far apart. We extend this result to a compactified model with two positive tension branes. Besides an exponentially small effective 4-D cosmological constant, this model incorporates a Randall-Sundrum-like solution to the hierarchy problem. Furthermore, the exponential factors for the hierarchy problem and the cosmological constant problem obey an inequality that is satisfied in nature. This inequality implies that the cosmological c…
We discuss a new solution, admitting the existence of dS_{4} branes, in five-dimensional Brans-Dicke theory. It is shown that, due to a special form of a bulk scalar field potential, for certain values of the model parameters the effective cosmological constant can be made small on the brane, where the hierarchy problem of gravitational interaction is solved. We also discuss new stabilization mechanism which is based on the use of auxiliary fields.
We analyze cosmological solutions in the class of two-brane models with arbitrary tensions which contain matter with general equations of state. We show that the mass hierarchy between the two branes is determined by the ratio of the lapse functions evaluated on the branes. This ratio can be sufficiently small without fine-tuning the brane separation, once the transverse dimension is stabilized. For suitably large interbrane separations, both brane tensions are positive. We also find that the cosmological evolution obeys the standard four-dimensional Friedman equation up to small corrections.
A cosmological scenario is proposed, which simultaneously solves the mass hierarchy and the small dark energy problem. In the present scenario an effective gravity mass scale (inverse of the Newton's constant) increases during the inflationary period. The small cosmological constant or the dark energy density in the present universe is dynamically realized by introducing two, approximately O(2) symmetric dilatons, taking the fundamental mass scale at TeV.
The issue of the gauge invariance of gravitational waves arises if they are produced in the early universe at second-order in perturbation theory. We address it by dividing the discussion about the gauge invariance in three parts: the production of gravitational waves, their propagation in the real universe, and their measurement.
We analyze the general covariant energy-momentum tensor of the gravitational system in genreal five-dimensional cosmological brane-world models. Then through calculating this energy-momentum for the cosmological generalization of the Randall-Sundrum model, which includes the original RS model as the static limit, we are able to show that the weakness of the gravitation on the "visible" brane is a general feature of this model. This is the origin of the gauge hierarchy from a gravitational point of view. Our results are also consistent with the fact that a gravitational system has vanishing tot…
A simple model for the late-time cosmic acceleration problem is presented in the Starobinsky inflation with a negative bare cosmological constant as well as a nonminimal coupling to the Higgs boson. After electroweak symmetry breaking, the Starobinsky inflaton has been frozen until very recently, becoming a thawing quintessence, and a comparable magnitude to the observed dark energy density can be achieved without fine-tuning. Our proposal essentially reduces the cosmological constant problem into the electroweak hierarchy problem, and its late-time behaviour is also consistent with the recent…
This brief contribution is devoted to phenomenological consequences of deviations from Lorentz invariance in gravity and dark matter. We will discuss main effects on cosmological observables and current constraints derived from astrophysical and cosmological data.
A quantum field theory formalism is reviewed that leads to a self-consistent, finite quantum gravity, Yang-Mills and Higgs theory, which is unitary and gauge invariant to all orders of perturbation theory. The gauge hierarchy problem is solved due to the exponential damping of the Higgs self-energy loop graph for energies greater than a scale $Λ_H\leq 1$ TeV. The cosmological constant problem is solved by introducing a fundamental quantum gravity scale, $Λ_G\leq 10^{-4}$ eV, above which the virtual contributions to the vacuum energy density coupled to gravity are exponentially suppressed, yiel…
We obtain the general inflationary solutions for the slab of five-dimensional AdS spacetime where the fifth dimension is an orbifold $S^1/Z_2$ and two three-branes reside at its boundaries, of which the Randall-Sundrum model corresponds to the static limit. The investigation of the general solutions and their static limit reveals that the RS model recasts both the cosmological constant problem and the gauge hierarchy problem into the balancing problem of the bulk and the brane cosmological constants.
We consider deformations of the singular "global cosmic string" compactifications, known to naturally generate exponentially large scales. The deformations are obtained by allowing a constant curvature metric on the brane and correspond to a choice of integration constant. We show that there exists a unique value of the integration constant that gives rise to a nonsingular solution. The metric on the brane is dS_4 with an exponentially small value of expansion parameter. We derive an upper bound on the brane cosmological constant. We find and investigate more general singular solutions---``dil…
A scenario based on the scale invariance for explaining the vanishing cosmological constant (CC) is discussed. I begin with a notice on the miraculous fact of the CC problem that the vacuum energies totally vanish at each step of hierarchical and successive spontaneous symmetry breakings. I then argue that the classical scale invariance is a necessary condition for the calculability of the vacuum energy. Next, I discuss how sufficient the scale invariance is for solving the CC problem. First in the framework of classical field theory, the scale invariance is shown to give a natural mechanism f…
We consider the minimal Standard Model as an effective low-energy description of an unspecified fundamental theory with spontaneously broken conformal symmetry. The effective theory exhibits classical scale invariance which manifest itself through the dilaton field. The mass of the dilaton is generated via the quantum scale anomaly at two-loop level and is proportional to the techically stable hierarchy between the electroweak scale and a high energy scale given by a dilaton vacuum expectation value. We find that a generic prediction of this class of models is the existence of a very light dil…
It is suggested that the mechanism responsible for the resolution of the gauge hierarchy problem within the warped geometry framework can be generalized to provide a new explanation of the extremely tiny vacuum energy density rho_V suggested by recent observations. We illustrate the mechanism with some 5D examples in which the true vacuum energy is assumed to vanish, and rho_V is associated with a false vacuum energy such that rho_V^{1/4} ~ TeV^2/M_{Pl} ~ 10^{-3} eV, where M_{Pl} denotes the reduced Planck mass. We also consider a quintessence-like solution to the dark energy problem.
Recently Graham, Kaplan and Rajendran [1] proposed cosmological relaxation as a mechanism for generating a hierarchically small Higgs vacuum expectation value. Inspired by this we collect some thoughts on steps towards a solution to the electroweak hierarchy problem and apply them to the original model of cosmological relaxation [1]. To do so, we study the dynamics of the model and determine the relation between the fundamental input parameters and the electroweak vacuum expectation value. Depending on the input parameters the model exhibits three qualitatively different regimes, two of which …
Hubble expansion in warped braneworld model is addressed in presence of more than one warped extra dimensions. It is shown that while the expansion depends on all the moduli, an exponential nature of the expansion of the scale factor emerges as a generic feature which is independent of the number of extra dimensions. Expression for the effective brane cosmological constant in such model has been derived. It is shown that similar to the 5-dimensional Randall-Sundrum model a fine tuning between the bulk cosmological constant and brane tension is required to obtain the desired cosmological consta…
The BRST invariance condition in a highest-weight representation of the topological ($\equiv$ twisted $N=2$) algebra captures the `invariant' content of two-dimensional gravity coupled to matter. The standard DDK formulation is recovered by splitting the topological generators into $c=-26$ reparametrization ghosts+matter +`Liouville', while a similar splitting involving $c=-2$ ghosts gives rise to the matter dressed in exactly the way required in order that the theory be equivalent to Virasoro constraints on the KP hierarchy. The two dressings of matter with the `Liouville' differ also by thei…
We argue that scale invariance is not anomalous in quantum field theory, provided it is broken cosmologically. We consider a locally scale invariant extension of the Standard Model of particle physics and argue that it fits both the particle and cosmological observations. The model is scale invariant both classically and quantum mechanically. The scale invariance is broken cosmologically producing all the dimensionful parameters. The cosmological constant or dark energy is a prediction of the theory and can be calculated systematically order by order in perturbation theory. It is expected to b…
When physics is expressed in a way that is independent of local choices of unit systems, Riemannian geometry is replaced by conformal geometry. Moreover masses become geometric, appearing as Weyl weights of tractors (conformal multiplets of fields necessary to keep local unit invariance manifest). The relationship between these weights and masses is through the scalar curvature. As a consequence mass terms are spacetime dependent for off-shell gravitational backgrounds, but happily constant for physical, Einstein manifolds. Unfortunately this introduces a naturalness problem because the scalar…
We examine the local conformal invariance (Weyl invariance) in tensor-scalar theories used in recently proposed conformal cosmological models. We show that the Noether currents associated with Weyl invariance in these theories vanish. We assert that the corresponding Weyl symmetry does not have any dynamical role.
Recently, it has been pointed out that dimensionless actions in four dimensional curved spacetime possess a symmetry which goes beyond scale invariance but is smaller than full Weyl invariance. This symmetry was dubbed {\it restricted Weyl invariance}. We show that starting with a restricted Weyl invariant action that includes a Higgs sector with no explicit mass, one can generate the Einstein-Hilbert action with cosmological constant and a Higgs mass. The model also contains an extra massless scalar field which couples to the Higgs field (and gravity). If the coupling of this extra scalar fie…
We examine some Weyl invariant cosmological models in the framework of generalized dilaton gravity, in which the action is made of a set of $N$ conformally coupled scalar fields. It will be shown that when the FRW ansatz for the spacetime metric is assumed, the Ward identity for conformal invariance guarantees that the gravitational equations hold whenever the scalar fields EM do so. It follows that any scale factor can solve the theory provided a non-trivial profile for a dilaton field. In particular, accelerated expansion is a natural solution to the full set of equations.
We show that scale invariance provides a solution to the fine tuning problem of the cosmological constant. We construct a generalization of the standard model of particle physics which displays exact quantum scale invariance. The matter action is invariant under global scale transformations in arbitrary dimensions. However the gravitational action breaks scale invariance explicitly. The scale symmetry is broken spontaneously in the matter sector of the theory. We show that the contribution to the vacuum energy and hence the cosmological constant is identically zero from the matter sector withi…
There has been the suggestion that the cosmological constant as implied by the dark energy is related to the well-known hierarchy between the Planck scale, $M_{\rm Pl}$, and the Standard Model scale, $M_{\rm SM}$. Here we further propose that the same framework that addresses this hierarchy problem must also address the smallness problem of the cosmological constant. Specifically, we investigate the minimal supersymmetric (SUSY) extension of the Randall-Sundrum model where SUSY-breaking is induced on the TeV brane and transmitted into the bulk. We show that the Casimir energy density of the sy…
In this paper we study a new symmetry argument that results in a vacuum state with strictly vanishing vacuum energy. This argument exploits the well-known feature that de Sitter and Anti- de Sitter space are related by analytic continuation. When we drop boundary and hermiticity conditions on quantum fields, we get as many negative as positive energy states, which are related by transformations to complex space. The paper does not directly solve the cosmological constant problem, but explores a new direction that appears worthwhile.
A duality transformation that interrelates expanding and contracting cosmological models is shown to single out a duality invariant, interacting two-component description of any irrotational, geodesic and shearfree cosmic medium with vanishing three curvature scalar. We apply this feature to a system of matter and radiation, to a mixture of dark matter and dark energy, to minimal and conformal scalar fields, and to an enlarged Chaplygin gas model of the cosmic substratum. We extend the concept of duality transformations to cosmological perturbations and demonstrate the invariance of adiabatic …
A generalized Randall sundrum model in six dimensional bulk is studied in presence of non-flat 3-branes at the orbifold fixed points. The warp factors for this model is determined in terms of multiple moduli and brane cosmological constant. We show that the requirements of a vanishingly small cosmological constant on the visible brane along with non-hierarchical moduli, each with scale close to Planck length, lead to a scenario where the 3-branes can not have any intermediate scale and have energy scales either close to Tev or close to Planck scale. Such a scenario can address both the gauge h…
We consider a generalized Randall Sundrum (RS) brane world scenario with a cosmological constant $Ω$ induced on the visible brane. We show that for $Ω<0$, resolution of the hierarchy problem requires an upper bound on the magnitude of $Ω$. The corresponding tension on the visible brane can be positive or negative. On the other hand, there is no such bound for $Ω>0$. However, in this case, the resolution of the hierarchy problem along with the tuning of the value of the cosmological constant to its observed value closed to $+10^{-124}$ (in Planck units) naturally lead to the tuning of the modul…
In the model where the Universe is considered as a thin shell expanding in 5-dimensional hyper-space there is a possibility to obtain one scale for particle theory corresponding to the 5-dimensional cosmological constant and Universe thickness.
We derive the Boltzmann equation in the synchronous gauge for massive neutrinos with a deformed dispersion relation. Combining the 7-year WMAP data with lower-redshift measurements of the expansion rate, we give constraints on the deformation parameter and find that the deformation parameter is strong degenerate with the physical dark matter density instead of the neutrino mass. Our results show that there is no evidence for Lorentz invariant violation in the neutrino sector. The ongoing Planck experiment could provide improved constraints on the deformation parameter.
We compute the cosmological constant in a scale invariant scalar field theory. The gravitational action is also suitably modified to respect scale invariance. Due to scale invariance the theory does not admit a cosmological constant term. The scale invariance is broken by a recently introduced mechanism called cosmological symmetry breaking. This leads to a nonzero cosmological constant. We compute the one loop corrections to the cosmological constant and show that it is finite.
The construction of physical models with local time-reparametrization invariance is reviewed. Negative-energy contributions to the hamiltonian are shown to be crucial for the realization of this reparametrization symmetry. The covariant formulation of the dynamics is used to develop a time and gauge invariant Hamilton-Jacobi theory. This formalism is applied to solve for the cosmology of a homogeneous universe of the Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker type. After a discussion of empty universes, the FLRW theory is extended with homogeneous scalar fields generically described by a $\sg$-model …
We derive the free energy of a Lorentz invariance violating (LIV) O(2) model, for which a non-vanishing commutator among it's momenta is supposed. Then we investigate the possible implications of such a matter field on the time evolution of a flat FRW universe at low and high temperatures.
The concepts of Lorentz invariance of local (flat space) physics, and unitarity of time evolution and the S-matrix, are famously rigid and robust, admitting no obvious consistent theoretical deformations, and confirmed to incredible accuracy by experiments. But neither of these notions seem to appear directly in describing the spatial correlation functions at future infinity characterizing the "boundary" observables in cosmology. How then can we see them emerge as {\it exact} concepts from a possible ab-initio theory for the late-time wavefunction of the universe? In this letter we examine thi…
This contribution reviews recent work on a new approach to the cosmological constant problem, which starts from the macroscopic behavior of a conserved relativistic microscopic variable q. First, the statics of the vacuum energy density is discussed and, then, the dynamics in a cosmological context.
We present a broad and simple class of scalar-tensor scenarios that successfully realize dynamical damping of the effective cosmological constant, therefore providing a viable dynamical solution to the fine-tuning or "old" cosmological constant problem. In contrast to early versions of this approach, pioneered in the works of A. Dolgov in the 1980es, these do not suffer from unacceptable variations of Newton's constant, as one aims at a small but strictly positive (rather than zero) late-time curvature. In our approach, the original fine-tuning issue is traded for a hierarchy of couplings, and…
The energy density of the universe today may be dominated by the vacuum energy of a slowly rolling scalar field. Making a quantum expansion around such a time dependent solution is found to break fundamental symmetries of quantum field theory. We call this mechanism cosmological symmetry breaking and argue that it is different from the standard phenomenon of spontaneous symmetry breaking. We illustrate this with a toy scalar field theory, whose action displays a U(1) symmetry. We identify a symmetry, called pseudo-scale invariance, which sets the cosmological constant exactly equal to zero, bo…
We demonstrate that an extremely small but positive quantum correction, or the Casimir energy, to the cosmological constant can arise from a massive bulk fermion field in the Randall-Sundrum model. Specifically, a cosmological constant doubly descended from the Planck-electroweak hierarchy and as minute as the observed dark energy scale can be naturally achieved without fine-tuning of the bulk fermion mass. To ensure the stabilization of the system, we discuss two stabilization mechanisms under this setup. It is found that the Goldberger-Wise mechanism can be successfully introduced in the pre…
One hope to solve the cosmological constant problem is to identify a symmetry principle, based on which the cosmological constant can be reduced either to zero, or to a tiny value. Here, we note that requiring that the vacuum state is Lorentz invariant significantly reduces the theoretical value of the vacuum energy density. Hence, this also reduces the discrepancy between the observed value of the cosmological constant and its theoretical expectation, down from 123 orders of magnitude to 56 orders of magnitude. We find that, at one loop level, massless particles do not yield any contribution …
The consequences of considering the measure of integration in the action to be defined by degrees of freedom independent of the metric are studied. Models without the cosmological constant problem, new ways of spontaneously breaking scale symmetry which have an interesting cosmology and theories of extended objects (string, branes) without a fundamental scale appear possible.
I show that cosmological perturbation spectra produced from quantum fluctuations in massless or self-interacting scalar fields during an inflationary era remain invariant under a two parameter family of transformations of the homogeneous background fields. This relates slow-roll inflation models to solutions which may be far from the usual slow-roll limit. For example, a scale-invariant spectrum of perturbations in a minimally coupled, massless field can be produced by an exponential expansion with $a\propto e^{Ht}$, or by a collapsing universe with $a\propto (-t)^{2/3}$.
Standard inflationary models yield a characteristic signature of a primordial power spectrum with a red tensor and scalar tilt. Nevertheless, Cannone et al recently suggested that, by breaking the assumption of spatial diffeomorphism invariance in the context of the effective field theory of inflation, a blue tensor spectrum can be achieved without violating the Null Energy Condition. In this context, we explore in which cases a blue tensor tilt can be obtained along with a red tilt in the scalar spectrum. Ultimately, we analyze under which conditions this model can reproduce the specific cons…
Recent work has shown that complex quantum field theory emerges as a statistical mechanical approximation to an underlying noncommutative operator dynamics based on a total trace action. In this dynamics, scale invariance of the trace action becomes the statement $0=Re Tr T_μ^μ$, with $T_{μν}$ the operator stress energy tensor, and with $Tr$ the trace over the underlying Hilbert space. We show that this condition implies the vanishing of the cosmological constant and vacuum energy in the emergent quantum field theory. However, since the scale invariance condition does not require the operator …
The discovery of the Higgs boson by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations allowed us to precisely determine its mass being 125.09 $\pm$ 0.24GeV. This value is intriguing as it lies at the frontier between the regions of stability and meta-stability of the standard model vacuum. It is known that the hierarchy problem can be interpreted in terms of the near criticality between the two phases. The coefficient of the Higgs bilinear in the scalar potential, $m^{2}$, is pushed by quantum corrections away from zero, towards the extremes of the interval $[-M^{2}_{Pl},M^{2}_{Pl}]$ where $M_{Pl}$ is the Plan…
The dark energy formula derived by Gurzadyan and Xue which leads to a value fitting the SN data, provides a scaling relation between the physical constants and cosmological parameters and defines a set of cosmological models. In previous works we have considered several of those models and derived the cosmological equations for each case. In this letter, we present the phase portrait analysis of those models. Surprisingly we found, first, that the separatrix in the phase space which determines the character of solutions depends solely on the value of the current matter density. Namely, at $Ω_m…
Equations for cosmological evolution are formulated in a Weyl invariant formalism to take into account possible Weyl anomalies. Near two dimensions, the renormalized cosmological term leads to a nonlocal energy-momentum tensor and a slowly decaying vacuum energy. A natural generalization to four dimensions implies a quantum modification of Einstein field equations at long distances. It offers a new perspective on time-dependence of couplings and naturalness with potentially far-reaching consequences for the cosmological constant problem, inflation, and dark energy.
We consider Randall-Sundrum model with localized gravity, replacing the extra compact space-like dimension by a time-like one. In this way the solution to the hierarchy problem can be reconciled with a correct cosmological expansion of the visible universe, just as a trivial result of the sign flip of cosmological constants in the bulk and on the 3-branes relative to the case of extra space-like dimension. Some phenomenological aspects of the proposed scenario related to the tachyonic nature of Kaluza-Klein states of graviton are also discussed.
We consider a class of spatially flat cold dark matter (CDM) models, with a cosmological constant and a broken-scale-invariant (BSI) steplike primordial spectrum of adiabatic perturbations, previously found to be in very good agreement with observations. Performing a Fisher matrix analysis, we show that in case of a large gravitational waves (GW) contribution some free parameters (defining the step) of our BSI model can be extracted with remarkable accuracy by the Planck satellite, thanks to the polarisation anisotropy measurements. Further, cosmological parameters can still be found with very…
It is known that Horndeski theories can be transformed to a sub-class of Gleyzes-Langlois-Piazza-Vernizzi (GLPV) theories under the disformal transformation of the metric $g_{μν} \to Ω^2(ϕ)g_{μν}+Γ(ϕ,X) \nabla_μ ϕ\nabla_ν ϕ$, where $Ω$ is a function of a scalar field $ϕ$ and $Γ$ is another function depending on both $ϕ$ and $X=g^{μν}\nabla_μ ϕ\nabla_ν ϕ$. We show that, with the choice of unitary gauge, both curvature and tensor perturbations on the flat isotropic cosmological background are generally invariant under the disformal transformation. By means of the effective field theories encompa…
Semiclassical Einstein's equation in five-dimension with a negative cosmological constant and conformally invariant bulk matter fields is examined in the brane world scenario with the S^1/Z_2 compactification. When numbers N_{b,f} of bosonic and fermionic fields satisfy I<κ^2l^{-3}(N_b-N_f)<32I, we obtain an exact semiclassical solution which has two static branes with positive tension and for which the warp factor can be arbitrarily large. Here, κ^2 is the five-dimensional gravitational constant, l is a length scale determined by the negative five-dimensional cosmological constant, and $I$ is…
We investigate the constraints on the sum of neutrino masses ($Σm_ν$) using the most recent cosmological data, which combines the distance measurement from baryonic acoustic oscillation in the extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey DR14 quasar sample with the power spectra of temperature and polarization anisotropies in the cosmic microwave background from the Planck 2015 data release. We also use other low-redshift observations including the baryonic acoustic oscillation at relatively low redshifts, the supernovae of type Ia and the local measurement of Hubble constant. In the stand…
In the present paper, we discuss gravitational relaxation models for the electroweak hierarchy problem. We show that modified gravity can naturally relax the electroweak hierarchy problem where conformal transformation provides a crucial rule about what modified gravity theories are favored to relax the electroweak hierarchy. The conformal transformation connects different gravitational theories and rescaling the metric changes the dimensional parameters like the Higgs mass or the cosmological constant in different frames drastically. When the electroweak scale is naturally realized by dynamic…
