Central extensions of cotangent universal hierarchy: (2+1)-dimensional bi-Hamiltonian systems

We introduce the cotangent universal hierarchy that extends the so-called universal hierarchy (as for the latter, see e.g. arXiv:nlin/0202008, arXiv:nlin/0312043 and arXiv:nlin/0310036). Then we construct a (2+1)-dimensional double central extension of the cotangent universal hierarchy and show that this extension is bi-Hamiltonian. This yields, as a byproduct, the central extension of the original universal hierarchy.

Reduction of a bi-Hamiltonian hierarchy on $T^*\mathrm{U}(n)$ to spin Ruijsenaars--Sutherland models

We first exhibit two compatible Poisson structures on the cotangent bundle of the unitary group $\mathrm{U}(n)$ in such a way that the invariant functions of the $\mathfrak{u}(n)^*$-valued momenta generate a bi-Hamiltonian hierarchy. Infinite-dimensional Frobenius Manifolds Underlying the Universal Whitham Hierarchy

We construct a class of infinite-dimensional Frobenius manifolds on the spaces of pairs of meromorphic functions with a pole at infinity and a movable pole. Such Frobenius manifolds are shown to be underlying the universal Whitham hierarchy, which is an extension of the dispersionless Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy.

Non-degenerate solutions of universal Whitham hierarchy

The notion of non-degenerate solutions for the dispersionless Toda hierarchy is generalized to the universal Whitham hierarchy of genus zero with $M+1$ marked points. Kernel Formula Approach to the Universal Whitham Hierarchy

We derive the dispersionless Hirota equations of the universal Whitham hierarchy from the kernel formula approach proposed by Carroll and Kodama. Besides, we also verify the associativity equations in this hierarchy from the dispersionless Hirota equations and give a realization of the associative algebra with structure constants expressed in terms of the residue formulas.

On an integrable system of q-difference equations satisfied by the universal characters: its Lax formalism and an application to q-Painleve equations

The universal character is a generalization of the Schur function attached to a pair of partitions. We study an integrable system of q-difference equations satisfied by the universal characters, which is an extension of the q-KP hierarchy and is called the lattice q-UC hierarchy. We describe the lattice q-UC hierarchy as a compatibility condition of its associated linear system (Lax formalism) and explore an application to the q-Painleve equations via similarity reduction. Universal rogue wave patterns associated with the Yablonskii-Vorob'ev polynomial hierarchy

We show that universal rogue wave patterns exist in integrable systems. These rogue patterns comprise fundamental rogue waves arranged in shapes such as triangle, pentagon and heptagon, with a possible lower-order rogue wave at the center. A note on the super Krichever map

We consider the geometrical aspects of the Krichever map in the context of Jacobian Super KP hierarchy. We use the representation of the hierarchy based on the Faa` di bruno recursion relations, considered as the cocycle condition for the natural double complex associated with the deformations of super Krichever data.
