Recent observational evidence seems to allow the possibility that our universe may currently be under a dark energy effect of a phantom nature. A suitable effective phantom fluid behaviour can emerge in brane cosmology; In particular, within the normal non self-accelerating DGP branch, without any exotic matter and due to curvature effects from induced gravity. The phantom-like behaviour is based in defining an effective energy density that grows as the brane expands. This effective description breaks down at some point in the past when the effective energy density becomes negative and the effective equation of state parameter blows up. In this paper we investigate if the phantom-like regime can be enlarged by the inclusion of a Gauss-Bonnet (GB) term into the bulk. The motivation is that such a GB component would model additional curvature effects on the brane setting. More precisely, our aim is to determine if the GB term, dominating and modifying the early behaviour of the brane universe, may eventually extend the regime of validity of the phantom mimicry on the brane. However, we show that the opposite occurs: the GB effect seems instead to induce a breakdown of the phantom-like behaviour at an even smaller redshift.
We study the evolution of Born-Infeld-type phantom in the second Randall-Sundrum brane scenario, and find that there exists attractor solution for the potential with a maximum, which implies a cosmological constant at the late time. Especially, we discuss the BI model of constant potential without and with dust matter. In the weak tension limit of the brane, we obtain an exact solution for the BI phantom and scale factor and show that there is no big rip during the evolution of the brane.
We investigate general braneworld models, with a non-minimally coupled phantom bulk field and arbitrary brane and bulk matter contents. We show that the effective dark energy of the brane-universe acquires a dynamical nature, as a result of the non-minimal coupling which provides a mechanism for an indirect "bulk-brane interaction" through gravity. For late-time cosmological evolution and without resorting to special ansatzes or to specific areas of the parameter space, we show that the -1-crossing of its equation-of-state parameter is general and can be easily achieved. As an example we provi…
We elaborate the signature of the extra dimensions and brane tension in the process of phantom and massive scalar emission in the spacetime of (4+n)-dimensional tense brane black hole. Absorption cross section, luminosity of Hawking radiation and cross section in the low-energy approximation were found. We envisage that parameter connected with the existence of a brane imprints its role in the Hawking radiation of the considered fields.
The Dvali, Gabadadze and Porrati (DGP) model has a self-accelerating solution, the positive branch, where the brane is asymptotically de Sitter. A de Sitter space-time can be seen as a boundary between quintessence-like behaviour and phantom-like behaviour. We show that in a 5D dilatonic bulk, where the dilaton has an exponential potential, with an induced gravity term on the brane, whose matter content corresponds only to vacuum energy, the positive branch solution undergoes a phantom-like stage where it faces a curvature singularity in its infinite future. The singularity can be interpreted …
We investigate a simple braneworld model in which the universe contains only cold dark matter and a cosmological constant, but the effective dark energy is phantom-like because of extra-dimensional gravity effects. Modified gravity screens the cosmological constant Lambda, allowing for a larger Lambda. In practice, observations do not favour any significant screening. We use supernova data, the cosmic microwave background shift parameter, and the baryon oscillation peak in the galaxy distribution to constrain the model. We find the mean value of Omega_m with 68% confidence limits, and an upper…
We present a novel dark energy candidate, based upon the existence and dynamics of Ghost D-branes in a warped compactification of type IIB string theory. Gp-branes cancel the combined BPS sectors of the Dp-branes, while they preserve the same supersymmetries. We show that this scenario can naturally lead to either quintessence or phantom-like behaviors, depending on the form of the involved potentials and brane tension.
A model of a thick brane in 5D bulk supported by two phantom scalar fields is considered. The comparison with a thick brane supported by two usual scalar fields is carried out. The distinctions between a thick brane supported by one usual scalar field and our model have been pointed out.
Braneworld models with induced gravity exhibit phantom-like behaviour of the effective equation of state of dark energy. They can, therefore, naturally accommodate higher values of $H_0$, preferred by recent local measurements, while satisfying the CMB constraints. We test the background evolution in such phantom braneworld scenarios with the current observational datasets. We find that the phantom braneworld prefers a higher value of $H_0$ even without the R19 prior, thereby providing a much better fit to the local measurements. Although this braneworld model cannot fully satisfy all combinat…
We construct a new brane-world model composed of a bulk -with a dilatonic field-, plus a brane -with brane tension coupled to the dilaton-, cold dark matter and an induced gravity term. It is possible to show that depending on the nature of the coupling between the brane tension and the dilaton this model can describe the late-time acceleration of the brane expansion (for the normal branch) as it moves within the bulk. The acceleration is produced together with a mimicry of the crossing of the cosmological constant line (w=-1) on the brane, although this crossing of the phantom divide is obtai…
We construct an asymmetric braneworld embedding with induced gravity on the brane, where stringy effects are taken into account by incorporation of the Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk action. We derive the effective Friedmann equation of the brane and then we investigate the possible realization of the phantom-like behavior in this setup. We show that in the absence of the Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk action (a pure induced gravity scenario), the phantom-like behavior in asymmetric case can be realized in smaller redshift than the corresponding symmetric case. We show also that in the general c…
The cosmological model with two phantom scalar fields with the special choice of field's potential is considered. The obtained regular solution describes a bounce with a subsequent transition to the de Sitter stage of the expansion of the Universe. This solution also could be interpreted as a S-brane solution.
Here, DGP model of brane-gravity is analyzed and compared with the standard general relativity and Randall-Sundrum cases using non-linear equation of state. Phantom fluid is known to violate the weak energy condition. In this paper, it is found that this characteristic of phantom energy is affected drastically by the negative brane-tension $λ$ of the RS-II model. It is found that in DGP model strong energy condition(SEC) is always violated and the universe accelerates only where as in RS-II model even SEC is not violated for $1 < ρ/λ< 2$ and the universe decelerates.
In [Schmidt PRD 80 123003 (2009)], the author suggested that dynamical dark energy (DDE) propagating on the phantom brane could mimick $Λ$CDM. Schmidt went on to derive a phenomenological expression for $ρ_{\rm DE}$ which could achieve this. We demonstrate that while Schmidt's central premise is correct, the expression for $ρ_{\rm DE}$ derived in Schmidt (2009) is flawed. We derive the correct expression for $ρ_{\rm DE}$ which leads to $Λ$CDM-like expansion on the phantom brane. We also show that DDE on the brane can be associated with a Quintessence field and derive a closed form expression f…
It has been shown recently that phantom-like effect can be realized on the normal branch of the DGP setup without introduction of any phantom matter neither in the bulk nor on the brane and therefore without violation of the null energy condition. It has been shown also that inclusion of the Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk action modifies this picture via curvature effects. Here, based on the Lue-Starkman conjecture on the dynamical screening of the brane cosmological constant in the DGP setup, we extend this proposal to a general DGP-inspired $f(R,ϕ)$ model that stringy effects in the ultra-vio…
We study a flat 3-brane in presence of a linear $k$ field with nonzero cosmological constant $Λ_{4}$. In this model the crossing of the phantom divide (PD) occurs when the $k$-essence energy density becomes negative. We show that in the high energy regime the effective equation of state has a resemblance of a modified Chaplygin gas while in the low energy regime it becomes linear. We find a scale factor that begins from a singularity and evolves to a de Sitter stable stage while other solutions have a super-accelerated regime and end with a big rip. We use the energy conditions to show when th…
In the model of a gravitating system with two scalar fields (one of which is phantom), two new types of regular solutions are found: mechanism for compactification of an extra dimension and a flat thick brane solution. It is shown that the first model has solutions oscillating over the extra coordinate and giving a finite radius of compactification of the fifth dimension and the second model is a flat thick brane embedded in the 5D Minkowski spacetime. Geometry of both models corresponds to a five-dimensional Minkowski space-time. Consideration of linear perturbations shows stability of the ob…
Here Randall-Sundrum brane-gravity models of the homogeneous and flat universe, dominated by phantom fluid, is considered. It is noted that brane-gravity corrections effect the behaviour of phantom fluid in RS-II model (where brane-tension $λ$ is negative) drastically. It is interesting to see that, phantom fluid violates the weak energy condition (WEC) till energy density $ρ< λ$, but when phantom energy density $ρ$ grows more, the effective equation of state does not violate WEC. Moreover, with increasing phantom energy density, a stage comes when even strong energy condition is not violated …
Observations exploring the contemporary cosmic acceleration have sparked interest in dark energy models possessing equations of state with w < -1. We review how the cosmic expansion history of a Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati (DGP) braneworld model with a standard brane cosmological constant can mimic that of ordinary 4-dimensional gravity with w < -1 "phantom" dark energy for observationally relevant redshifts. We reinterpret the effective phantom nature of the dark energy as arising from dynamical-screening of the brane cosmological constant in DGP. This unusual variety of expansion history is thus…

A class of braneworld models can lead to phantom-like acceleration of the late universe, but without the need for any phantom matter. In the simplest models, the universe contains only cold dark matter and a cosmological constant. We generalize these models by introducing a quintessence field. The new feature in our models is that quintessence leads to a crossing of the phantom divide, $w=-1$. This is a purely gravitational effect, and there is no phantom instability. Furthermore, the Hubble parameter is always decreasing, and there is no big rip singularity in the future.
We obtain a closed system of equations for scalar perturbations in a multi-component braneworld. Our braneworld possesses a phantom-like equation of state at late times, $w_{\rm eff} < -1$, but no big-rip future singularity. In addition to matter and radiation, the braneworld possesses a new effective degree of freedom - the 'Weyl fluid' or 'dark radiation'. Setting initial conditions on super-Hubble spatial scales at the epoch of radiation domination, we evolve perturbations of radiation, pressureless matter and the Weyl fluid until the present epoch. We observe a gradual decrease in the ampl…
A universe described by braneworlds is studied in a cyclic scenario. As expected such an oscillating universe will undergo turnarounds, whenever the phantom energy density reaches a critical value from either side. It is found that a universe described by RSII brane model will readily undergo oscillations if, either the brane tension, λ, or the bulk cosmological constant, Λ_{4}, is negative. The DGP brane model does not readily undergo cyclic turnarounds. Hence for this model a modified equation is proposed to incorporate the cyclic nature. It is found that there is always a remanent mass of a…
Based on the Lue-Starkman conjecture on the dynamical screening of the brane cosmological constant in the DGP scenario, we extend this proposal to a general DGP-inspired $F(R,ϕ)$ Model. We show that modification of the induced gravity and its coupling to a quintessence field localized on the brane, affects the screening of the brane cosmological constant and also phantom-like behavior on the brane. We extend our study to possible modification of the induced gravity on the brane and for clarification some specific examples are presented. As a result, phantom-like behavior can be realized in thi…
We study the phantom-like behavior of a DGP-inspired braneworld scenario where curvature correction on the brane is taken into account. We include a possible modification of the induced gravity on the brane by incorporating higher order curvature terms of Gauss-Bonnet type. We investigate the cosmological implications of the model and we show that the normal branch of the scenario self-accelerates in this modified scenario without introducing any dark energy component. Also, a phantom-like behavior can be realized in this model without introducing any phantom field that suffers from serious di…
We derive an analytical expression for the growth rate of matter density perturbations on the phantom brane (which is the normal branch of the Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati model). This model is characterized by a phantomlike effective equation of state for dark energy at the present epoch. It agrees very well with observations. We demonstrate that the traditional parametrization $f=Ω_m^γ$ with a quasiconstant growth index $γ$ is not successful in this case. Based on a power series expansion at large redshifts, we propose a different parametrization for this model: $f=Ω_m^γ\left(1+\frac{b}{\ell H}\r…
In this letter, dark energy is obtained using dual roles of the Ricci scalar (as a physical field as well as geometry). Dark energy density, obtained here, mimics phantom and the derived Friedmann equation contains a term $ρ^2_{\rm de}/2 λ$ with $ρ_{\rm de}$ being the dark energy density and $λ$ being the cosmic tension. It is like brane-gravity inspired Friedmann equation, which arises without using the brane-gravity theory. It is found that acceleration is transient for $λ< 0$, but for $λ> 0$, expansion is found to encounter big-rip problem. It is shown that this problem can be avoided if da…
The 6D braneworld with the phantom-like bulk scalar field is considered. We demonstrate pure gravitational localization of scalar field zero modes on the brane.
The phantom brane has several important distinctive features: (i) Its equation of state is phantom-like, but there is no future `big rip' singularity, (ii) the effective cosmological constant on the brane is dynamically screened, because of which the expansion rate is {\em smaller} than that in $Λ$CDM at high redshifts. In this paper, we constrain the Phantom braneworld using distance measures such as Type Ia supernovae (SNeIa), Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO), and the compressed Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) data. We find that the simplest braneworld models provide a good fit to the da…
An induced gravity brane-world model is considered herein. A Gauss-Bonnet term is provided for the bulk, whereas phantom matter is present on the brane. It is shown that a combination of infra-red and ultra-violet modifications to general relativity replaces a big rip singularity: A sudden singularity emerges instead. Using current observational data, we also determine a range of values for the cosmic time corresponding to the sudden singularity occurrence.
In Einstein gravity, for an inhomogeneous phantom energy distribution having linear equation of state (but anisotropic), there exists simple exact solution for spherically symmetric space time describing a wormhole. At infinity, the space time is not asymptotically flat and possesses a regular cosmological Killing horizon with an infinite area. In this work, we have shown that, this wormhole solution is also possible in brane world for various matter distribution, which are not necessarily phantom in nature.
Here, RS-II model of brane-gravity is considerd for phantom universe using non-linear equation of stste. Phantom fluid is known to violate the weak energy condition. In this paper, it is found that this characteristic of phantom energy is affected drastically by the negative brane-tension $λ$ of the RS-II model. It is interesting to see that upto a certain value of energy density $ρ$ satisfying $ρ/λ< 1$, weak energy condition is violated and universe super-accelerates. But as $ρ$ increases more, only strong energy condition is violated and universe accelerates. When $1 < ρ/λ<2$, even strong en…
It is shown that any spatially flat and isotropic universe undergoing accelerated expansion driven by a self-interacting scalar field can be directly related to a contracting, decelerating cosmology. The duality is made manifest by expressing the scale factor and Hubble parameter as functions of the scalar field and simultaneously interchanging these two quantities. The decelerating universe can be twinned with a cosmology sourced by a phantom scalar field by inverting the scale factor and leaving the Hubble parameter invariant. The accelerating model can be related to the same phantom univers…
In this paper, in a class of warped compactifications with the brane/flux annihilation, we find that the inflation may be driven by a flat direction identified as that along the number p of anti D3-branes located at the tip of the Klebanov-Strassler throat. The spectrum of adiabatic perturbation generated during inflation is nearly scale invariant, which may be obtained by using the results shown in the phantom inflation, since in a four-dimension effective description the evolution of energy density along the $p$ direction is slowly increasing.
We study cosmological dynamics and late-time evolution of an extended induced gravity braneworld scenario. In this scenario, curvature effects are taken into account via the Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk action and there is also a Chaplygin gas component on the brane. We show that this model mimics an effective phantom behavior in a relatively wider range of redshifts than previously formulated models. It also provides a natural framework for smooth crossing of the phantom-divide line due to presence of the Chaplygin gas component on the brane. We confront the model with observational data fro…
In this work we have investigated the emergent scenario of the universe described by Loop quantum cosmology model, DGP brane model and Kaluza-Klein cosmology. Scalar field along with barotropic fluid as normal matter is considered as the matter content of the universe. In Loop quantum cosmology it is found that the emergent scenario is realized with the imposition of some conditions on the value of the density of normal matter in case of normal and phantom scalar field. This is a surprising result indeed considering the fact that scalar field is the dominating matter component. In case of Tach…
We discuss the cosmological evolution of a braneworld in five dimensional Gauss-Bonnet gravity. Our discussion allows the fifth (bulk) dimension to be space-like as well as time-like. The resulting equations of motion have the form of a cubic equation in the (H^2,(ρ+σ)^2) plane, where σis the brane tension and ρis the matter density. This allows us to conduct a comprehensive pictorial analysis of cosmological evolution for the Gauss-Bonnet brane. The many interesting properties of this braneworld include the possibility of accelerated expansion at late times. For a finite region in parameter s…
Infinitely cyclic cosmology is often frustrated by the black hole problem. It has been speculated that this obstacle in cyclic cosmology can be removed by taking into account a peculiar cyclic model derived from loop quantum cosmology or the braneworld scenario, in which phantom dark energy plays a crucial role. In this peculiar cyclic model, the mechanism of solving the black hole problem is through tearing up black holes by phantom. However, using the theory of fluid accretion onto black holes, we show in this paper that there exists another possibility: that black holes cannot be torn up by…
We study dynamics of the equation of state parameter for a dark energy component non-minimally coupled to induced gravity on a warped DGP brane. We show that there are appropriate domains of the model parameters space that account for crossing of the phantom divide line. This crossing, which is possible for both branches of the scenario, depends explicitly on the values of the non-minimal coupling and warp factor. The effect of warp factor appears in the value of the redshift parameter at which phantom divide line crossing occurs.
Recently, various observational data predict a possibility that inflation may naturally occur in a warm region. In this scenario, radiation is produced during the inflation epoch and reheating is avoided. The main question arises that what is the origin of warm inflation in 4D universe? We answer to this question in brane-antibrane system. We propose a model that allows all cosmological parameters like the scale factor a, the Hubble parameter H and phantom energy density depend on the equation of state parameter in transverse dimension between two branes. Thus, an enhancement in these paramete…
Recent type Ia supernovas data seemingly favor a dark energy model whose equation of state $w(z)$ crosses -1 very recently, which is a much more amazing problem than the acceleration of the universe. In this paper we show that it is possible to realize such a crossing without introducing any phantom component in a Gauss-Bonnet brane world with induced gravity, where a four dimensional curvature scalar on the brane and a five dimensional Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk are present. In this realization, the Gauss-Bonnet term and the mass parameter in the bulk play a crucial role.
We revisit the problem of phantom behaviour of effective dark energy in scalar-tensor gravity. The main focus is on the properties of the functions defining the model. We find that models with the present phantom behavior can be made consistent with all constraints, but one of these functions must have rather contrived shape, and the initial data must be strongly fine-tuned. Also, the phantom stage must have begun fairly recently, at $z\lesssim 1$. All this disfavors the effective phantom behaviour in the scalar-tensor gravity.
A black universe is a nonsingular black hole where, beyond the horizon, there is an expanding, asymptotically isotropic universe. Such spherically symmetric configurations have been recently found as solutions to the Einstein equations with phantom scalar fields (with negative kinetic energy) as sources of gravity. They have a Schwarzschild-like causal structure but a de Sitter infinity instead of a singularity. It is attempted to obtain similar configurations without phantoms, in the framework of an RS2 type brane world scenario, considering the modified Einstein equations that describe gravi…
Hybrid Chaplygin gas model is put forward, in which the gases play the role of dark energy. For this model the coincidence problem is greatly alleviated. The effective equation of state of the dark energy may cross the phantom divide $w=-1$. Furthermore, the crossing behaviour is decoupled from any gravity theories. In the present model, $w<-1$ is only a transient behaviour. There is a de Sitter attractor in the future infinity. Hence, the big rip singularity, which often afflicts the models with matter whose effective equation of state less than -1, is naturally disappear. There exist stable …
In this paper we study the dynamics of a 5D bulk space-time with our universe as a "test 3-brane" located in the bulk, an idealized model of a topological object whose physical properties is negligible in comparison with that of the bulk. Our universe experiences acceleration and its equation of state parameter crosses the phantom divide line due to the geometry of the bulk space-time.
We constructed a six-dimensional version of the standing wave model with an anisotropic 4-brane generated by a phantom-like scalar field. The model represents a braneworld where the compact (on-brane) dimension is assumed to be sufficiently small in order to describe our universe (hybrid compactification). The proposed geometry of the brane and its transverse manifold is non-static, unlike the majority of braneworld models presented in the literature. Furthermore, we have shown that the zero-mode scalar field is localized around the brane. While in the string-like defect the scalar field is lo…
We investigate brane-worlds with a pure magnetic field and a perfect fluid. We extend earlier work to brane-worlds, and find new properties of the Bianchi type I brane-world. We find new asymptotic behaviours on approach to the singularity and classify the critical points of the dynamical phase space. It is known that the Einstein equations for the magnetic Bianchi type I models are in general oscillatory and are believed to be chaotic, but in the brane-world model this chaotic behaviour does not seem to be possible.
We analyze an oscillating universe model in brane world scenario. The oscillating universe cycles through a series of expansions and contractions and its energy density is dominated by dust matter at early-time expansion phase and by phantom dark energy at late-time expansion phase. We find that the period of the oscillating universe is not sensitive to the tension of the brane, but sensitive to the equation-of-state parameter $w$ of the phantom dark energy, and the ratio of the period to the current Hubble age approximately varies from 3 to 9 when the parameter $w$ changes from -1.4 to -1.1. …
We construct a DGP-inspired braneworld model where induced gravity on the brane is modified in the spirit of $f(R)$ gravity and stringy effects are taken into account by incorporation of the Gauss-Bonnet term in the bulk action. We explore cosmological dynamics of this model and we show that this scenario is a successful alternative for dark energy proposal. Interestingly, it realizes the phantom-like behavior without introduction of any phantom field on the brane and the effective equation of state parameter crosses the cosmological constant line naturally in the same way as observational dat…
The early time behaviour of brane-world models is analysed in the presence of anisotropic stresses. It is shown that that the initial singularity cannot be isotropic, unless there is also an isotropic fluid stiffer than radiation present. Also, a magnetic Bianchi type I brane-world is analysed in detail. It is known that the Einstein equations for the magnetic Bianchi type I models are in general oscillatory and are believed to be chaotic, but in the brane-world model this chaotic behaviour does not seem to be possible.
A Brane evolving in the background of a charged AdS black-hole displays in general a bouncing behaviour with a smooth transition from a contracting to an expanding phase. We examine in detail the conditions and consequences of this behaviour in various cases. For a cosmological-constant-dominated Brane, we obtain a singularity-free, inflationary era which is shown to be compatible only with an intermediate-scale fundamental Planck mass. For a radiation-dominated Brane, the bouncing behaviour can occur only for background-charge values exceeding those allowed for non-extremal black holes. For a…
We explore the possibility of a non-singular bounce in our universe from a warped braneworld scenario with dynamical branes and a non-zero brane cosmological constant. Such models naturally incorporate a scalar sector known as the radion originating from the modulus of the theory. The presence of brane cosmological constant renders the branes to be non-flat and gives rise to a potential and a non-canonical kinetic term for the radion field in the four dimensional effective action. The kinetic term exhibits a phantom-like behavior within the domain of evolution of the modulus which leads to a v…
It is proved that no wormholes can be formed in viable scalar-tensor models of dark energy admitting its phantom-like ($w < -1$) behaviour in cosmology, even in the presence of electric or magnetic fields, if the non-minimal coupling function $f(Φ)$ is everywhere positive and the scalar field $Φ$ itself is not a ghost. Some special static, spherically symmetric wormhole solutions may exist if $f(Φ)$ is allowed to reach zero or to become negative, so that the effective gravitational constant becomes negative in some region making the graviton a ghost. If $f$ remains non-negative, such solutions…
Using modified gravity with non-linear terms of curvature, $R^2$ and $R^{(r +2)}$ (with $r$ being the positive real number and $R$ being the scalar curvature), cosmological scenario, beginning at the Planck scale, is obtained. Here, a unified picture of cosmology is obtained from $f(R)-$ gravity. In this scenario, universe begins with power-law inflation, followed by deceleration and acceleration in the late universe as well as possible collapse of the universe in future. It is different from $f(R)-$ dark energy models with non-linear curvature terms assumed as dark energy. Here, dark energy te…
In this paper we show, through the study of concrete examples, that, depending on the cosmic dynamics of the energy density of matter degrees of freedom living in the brane, Randall-Sundrum (RS) brane effects can be important not only at short distances (UV regime), but also at large cosmological scales (IR regime). Our first example relies on the study, by means of the dynamical systems tools, of a toy model based in a non-linear electrodynamics (NLED) Lagrangian. Then we show that other, less elaborated models, such as the inclusion of a scalar phantom field, and of a tachyon phantom field -…
We investigate the intermediate and late-time behaviour of the massive Dirac spinor field in the background of static spherically symmetric brane-world black hole solutions. The intermediate asymptotic behaviour of the massive spinor field exhibits a dependence on the field's parameter mass as well as the multiple number of the wave mode. On the other hand, the late-time behaviour power law decay has a rate which is independent of those factors.
We consider the viability of dark energy (DE) models in the framework of the scalar-tensor theory of gravity, including the possibility to have a phantom DE at small redshifts $z$ as admitted by supernova luminosity-distance data. For small $z$, the generic solution for these models is constructed in the form of a power series in $z$ without any approximation. Necessary constraints for DE to be phantom today and to cross the phantom divide line $p=-ρ$ at small $z$ are presented. Considering the Solar System constraints, we find for the post-Newtonian parameters that $γ_{PN}<1$ and $γ_{PN,0}\ap…
