Quantization of scalar fields in curved background, deformed Hopf algebra and entanglement

A suitable deformation of the Hopf algebra of the creation and annihilation operators for a complex scalar field, initially quantized in Minkowski space--time, induces the canonical quantization of the same field in a generic gravitational background. The deformation parameter q turns out to be related to the gravitational field. The entanglement of the quantum vacuum appears to be robust against interaction with the environment.

Quantum walks, deformed relativity, and Hopf algebra symmetries

We show how the Weyl quantum walk derived from principles in Ref. [1], enjoying a nonlinear Lorentz symmetry of dynamics, allows one to introduce Hopf algebras for position and momentum of the emerging particle. We focus on two special models of Hopf algebras--the usual Poincaré and the k-Poincaré algebras.

Noncommutative spectral geometry and the deformed Hopf algebra structure of quantum field theory

We report the results obtained in the study of Alain Connes noncommutative spectral geometry construction focusing on its essential ingredient of the algebra doubling. We show that such a two-sheeted structure is related with the gauge structure of the theory, its dissipative character and carries in itself the seeds of quantization. From the algebraic point of view, the algebra doubling process has the same structure of the deformed Hops algebra structure which characterizes quantum field theory.

Quantum oscillator and Kepler-Coulomb problems in curved spaces: deformed shape invariance, point canonical transformations, and rational extensions

The quantum oscillator and Kepler-Coulomb problems in $d$-dimensional spaces with constant curvature are analyzed from several viewpoints. In a deformed supersymmetric framework, the corresponding nonlinear potentials are shown to exhibit a deformed shape invariance property. By using the point canonical transformation method, the two deformed Schrödinger equations are mapped onto conventional ones corresponding to some shape-invariant potentials, whose rational extensions are well known. Deformed algebras, position-dependent effective masses and curved spaces: An exactly solvable Coulomb problem

We show that there exist some intimate connections between three unconventional Schrödinger equations based on the use of deformed canonical commutation relations, of a position-dependent effective mass or of a curved space, respectively. This occurs whenever a specific relation between the deforming function, the position-dependent mass and the (diagonal) metric tensor holds true. Deformed shape invariance symmetry and potentials in curved space with two known eigenstates

We consider two families of extensions of the oscillator in a $d$-dimensional constant-curvature space and analyze them in a deformed supersymmetric framework, wherein the starting oscillator is known to exhibit a deformed shape invariance property. Casimir forces on deformed fermionic chains

We characterize the Casimir forces for the Dirac vacuum on free-fermionic chains with smoothly varying hopping amplitudes, which correspond to (1+1)D curved spacetimes with a static metric in the continuum limit. The first-order energy potential for an obstacle on that lattice corresponds to the Newtonian potential associated to the metric, while the finite-size corrections are described by a curved extension of the conformal field theory predictions, including a suitable boundary term. Quantum Field Theory and Coalgebraic Logic in Theoretical Computer Science

In this paper we suggest that in the framework of the Category Theory it is possible to demonstrate the mathematical and logical \textit{dual equivalence} between the category of the $q$-deformed Hopf Coalgebras and the category of the $q$-deformed Hopf Algebras in QFT, interpreted as a thermal field theory. The 2D $κ$-Dirac oscillator

In this Letter, 2D Dirac oscillator in the quantum deformed framework generated by the $κ$-Poincaré-Hopf algebra is considered. The problem is formulated using the $κ$-deformed Dirac equation. The resulting theory reveals that the energies and wave functions of the oscillator are modified by the deformation parameter.
