We show that the holomorphic Morse inequalities proved by Tian and the author [TZ1, 2] are in effect equalities by refining the analytic arguments in [TZ1, 2].
It is known that holomorphic Poisson structures are closely related to theories of generalized Kähler geometry and bi-Hermitian structures. In this article, we introduce quantization of holomorphic Poisson structures which are closely related to generalized Kähler structures /bi-Hermitian structures. By resulting noncommutative product $\star$ obtained via quantization, we also demonstrate computations with respect to concrete examples.
In this paper, we investigate families of singular holomorphic Lie algebroids on complex analytic spaces. We introduce and study a special type of deformation called unfoldings of Lie algebroids, which generalizes the theory of singular holomorphic foliations developed by T. Suwa. We show that a one to one correspondence between transversal unfoldings and holomorphic flat connections on a natural Lie algebroid on the bases exists.
We establish the equidistribution of zeros of random holomorphic sections of powers of a semipositive singular Hermitian line bundle, with an estimate of the convergence speed.
The group SU(2)*SU(2) acts naturally on SL(2,C) by simultaneous right and left multiplication. We study the Kahler metrics invariant under this action using global Kahler potentials. The volume growth and various curvature quantities are then explicitly computable. Examples include metrics of positive, negative and zero Ricci curvature, and the 1-lump metric of the CP^1-model on a sphere. We then look at the holomorphic quantization of these metrics, where some physically satisfactory results on the dimension of the Hilbert space can be obtained. These give rise to an interesting geometrical c…
We prove an analogue of the Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence oncompact connected 3-folds that is fibered on orbifold Riemann surfaces and satisfy an integrability condition, which contains compact connected Sasakian 3-folds. We define mini-holomorphic bundles on such 3-folds and the algebraic Dirac-type singularities on mini-holomorphic bundles, and prove that there exists a special Hermitian metric (admissible BHE-metric) on a Dirac-type singular mini-holomorphic bundle if the bundle satisfies a slope stability.
This manuscript is an introduction to the theory of holomorphic foliations on the complex projective plane. Historically the subject has emerged from the theory of ODEs in the complex domain and various attempts to solve Hilbert's 16th Problem, but with the introduction of complex algebraic geometry, foliation theory and dynamical systems, it has now become an interesting subject of its own.
In the present paper, we study the properties of singular Nakano positivity of singular hermitian metrics on holomorphic vector bundles, and establish an optimal $L^2$ extension theorem for holomorphic vector bundles with singular hermitian metrics on weakly pseudoconvex Kähler manifolds. As applications, we give a necessary condition for the holding of the equality in optimal $L^2$ extension theorem, and present singular hermitian holomorphic vector bundle versions of some $L^2$ extension theorems with optimal estimate.
This talk reports on results on the deformation quantization (star products) and on approximative operator representations for quantizable compact K"ahler manifolds obtained via Berezin-Toeplitz operators. After choosing a holomorphic quantum line bundle the Berezin-Toeplitz operator associated to a differentiable function on the manifold is the operator defined by multiplying global holomorphic sections of the line bundle with this function and projecting the differentiable section back to the subspace of holomorphic sections. The results were obtained in (respectively based on) joint work wi…
We provide a complete classification of hexagonal singular 3-web germs in the complex plane, satisfying the following two conditions: 1) the Chern connection remains holomorphic at the singular point, 2) the web admits at least one infinitesimal symmetry at this point. As a by-product, a classification of hexagonal weighted homogeneous 3-webs is obtained.
We use Donaldson's approximately holomorphic techniques to build embeddings of a closed symplectic manifold with symplectic form of integer class in the grassmannians Gr(r,N). We assure that these embeddings are asymptotically holomorphic in a precise sense. We study first the particular case of embeddings in the projective space $CP^N$ obtaining control on N. The main reason of our study is the construction of singular determinantal submanifolds as the intersection of the embedding with certain ``generalized Schur cycles'' defined on a product of grassmannians. It is shown that the symplectic…
Let $\mathcal{F}$ be a holomorphic foliation by curves defined in a neighborhood of $0$ in $\mathbb{C}^n$ ($n\geq 2$) having $0$ as a weakly hyperbolic singularity. Let $T$ be a positive harmonic current directed by $\mathcal{F}$ which does not give mass to any of the $n$ coordinate invariant hyperplanes $\{z_j=0\}$ for $1\leq j\leq n.$ Then we show that the Lelong number of $T$ at $0$ vanishes. Moreover, an application of this local result in the global context is given. We discuss also the relation between several basic notions such as directed positive harmonic currents, directed positive d…

We introduce a model for Hermitian holormorphic Deligne cohomology on a projective algebraic manifold which allows to incorporate singular hermitian structures along a normal crossing divisor. In the case of a projective curve, the cup-product in cohomology is shown to correspond to a generalization of the Deligne pairing to line bundles with "good" hermitian metrics in the sense of Mumford and others. A particular case is that of the tangent bundle of the curve twisted by the negative of the singularity divisor of a hyperbolic metric: its cup square (corrected by the total area) is shown to b…
In this note, we prove a quantization formula for singular reductions. The main result is obtained as a simple application of an extended quantization formula proved in [TZ2].
We study the holonomy cocycle H of a holomorphic foliation \Fc by Riemann surfaces defined on a compact complex projective surface X satisfying the following two conditions: 1) its singularities E are all hyperbolic; 2) there is no holomorphic non-constant map \C\to X such that out of E the image of \C is locally contained in a leaf. Let T be a harmonic current tangent to \Fc which does not give mass to any invariant analytic curve. Using the leafwise Poincaré metric, we show that H is integrable with respect to T. Consequently, we infer the existence of the Lyapunov exponent function of T.
We introduce and study a notion of singular hermitian metrics on holomorphic vector bundles, following Berndtsson and P{ă}un. We define what it means for such a metric to be curved in the sense of Griffiths and investigate the assumptions needed in order to locally define the cuvature $Θ^h$ as a matrix of currents. We then proceed to show that such metrics can be regularised in such a way that the corresponding curvature tensors converge weakly to $Θ^h$. Finally we define what it means for $h$ to be strictly negatively curved in the sense of Nakano and show that it is possible to regularise su…
In this note we show that if a compact Kahler manifold with trivial canonical bundle is the total space of a holomorphic fibration without singular fibers, then the fibration is a holomorphic fiber bundle. In the algebraic case, the fibration becomes trivial after a finite base change.
By the quantization condition compact quantizable Kaehler manifolds can be embedded into projective space. In this way they become projective varieties. The quantum Hilbert space of the Berezin-Toeplitz quantization (and of the geometric quantization) is the projective coordinate ring of the embedded manifold. This allows for generalization to the case of singular varieties. The set-up is explained in the first part of the contribution. The second part of the contribution is of tutorial nature. Necessary notions, concepts, and results of algebraic geometry appearing in this approach to quantiz…
In this paper we propose a noncommutative generalization of the relationship between compact Kähler manifolds and complex projective algebraic varieties. Beginning with a prequantized Kähler structure, we use a holomorphic Poisson tensor to deform the underlying complex structure into a generalized complex structure, such that the prequantum line bundle and its tensor powers deform to a sequence of generalized complex branes. Taking homomorphisms between the resulting branes, we obtain a noncommutative deformation of the homogeneous coordinate ring. As a proof of concept, this is implemented f…
In 1974, Berezin proposed a quantum theory for dynamical systems having a Kähler manifold as their phase space. The system states were represented by holomorphic functions on the manifold. For any homogeneous Kähler manifold, the Lie algebra of its group of motions may be represented either by holomorphic differential operators (``quantum theory"), or by functions on the manifold with Poisson brackets, generated by the Kähler structure (``classical theory"). The Kähler potentials and the corresponding Lie algebras are constructed now explicitly for all unitary representations of any compact si…
Let $(E,h)$ be a holomorphic Hermitian vector bundle over a polarized manifold. We provide a canonical quantization of the Laplacian operator acting on sections of the bundle of Hermitian endomorphisms of $E$. If $E$ is simple we obtain an approximation of the eigenvalues and eigenspaces of the Laplacian.
We prove the equivariant holomorphic Morse inequalities for a holomorphic torus action on a holomorphic vector bundle over a compact Kahler manifold when the fixed-point set is not necessarily discrete. Such inequalities bound the twisted Dolbeault cohomologies of the Kahler manifold in terms of those of the fixed-point set. We apply the inequalities to obtain relations of Hodge numbers of the connected components of the fixed-point set and the whole manifold. We also investigate the consequences in geometric quantization, especially in the context of symplectic cutting.
Consider $E$ a holomorphic vector bundle over a projective manifold $X$ polarized by an ample line bundle $L$. Fix $k$ large enough, the holomorphic sections $H^0(E\otimes L^k)$ provide embeddings of $X$ in a Grassmanian space. We define the \textit{balancing flow for bundles} as a flow on the space of projectively equivalent embeddings of $X$. This flow can be seen as a flow of algebraic type hermitian metrics on $E$. At the quantum limit $k\to \infty$, we prove the convergence of the balancing flow towards the Donaldson heat flow, up to a conformal change. As a by-product, we obtain a numeri…

In this paper, we develop the blow-up analysis and establish the energy quantization for solutions to super-Liouville type equations on Riemann surfaces with conical singularities at the boundary. In other problems in geometric analysis, the blow-up analysis usually strongly utilizes conformal invariance, which yields a Noether current from which strong estimates can be derived. Here, however, the conical singularities destroy conformal invariance. Therefore, we develop another, more general, method that uses the vanishing of the Pohozaev constant for such solutions to deduce the removability …
Many mathematical models of physical phenomena that have been proposed in recent years require more general spaces than manifolds. When taking into account the symmetry group of the model, we get a reduced model on the (singular) orbit space of the symmetry group action. We investigate quantization of singular spaces obtained as leaf closure spaces of regular Riemannian foliations on compact manifolds. These contain the orbit spaces of compact group actions and orbifolds. Our method uses foliation theory as a desingularization technique for such singular spaces. A quantization procedure on the…
