Let E be a simple finite dimensional representation of a semisimple Lie algebra with extremal weight nu and choose nonzero e in E_{nu}. Let M(tau) be the Verma module with highest weight tau and v_{tau} in M(tau)_{tau} its canonical generator. We investigate the projection of e \otimes v_{tau} in E \otimes M(tau) on the central character chi(tau + nu). This is a rational function in tau and we calculate its poles and zeros. We then apply this result in order to compare translation functors.

Koszul duality of translation--and Zuckerman functors

We review Koszul duality in representation theory of category $ \cal O $, especially we give a new presentation of the Koszul duality functor. Combining this with work of Backelin, we show that the translation and Zuckerman functors are Koszul dual to each other, thus verifying a conjecture of Bernstein, Frenkel and Khovanov. Finally we use Koszul duality to give a short proof of the Enright-Shelton equivalence.

Categories $\mathcal{O}$ for Root-Reductive Lie Algebras: II. Translation Functors and Tilting Modules

Translation functors for locally analytic representations

Let $G$ be a $p$-adic Lie group with reductive Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$. Translation of Dolbeault representations on reductive homogeneous spaces

We adapt techniques used in the study of the cubic Dirac operator on homogeneous reductive spaces to the Dolbeault operator on elliptic coadjoint orbits to prove that cohomologically induced representations have an infinitesimal character, that cohomological induction and Zuckerman translation functor commute and give a geometric interpretation of the Zuchkerman translation functor in this context.

Translation functors and decomposition numbers for the periplectic Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{p}(n)$

We study the category $\mathcal{F}_n$ of finite-dimensional integrable representations of the periplectic Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{p}(n)$. A categorification of the Temperley-Lieb algebra and Schur quotients of U(sl(2)) via projective and Zuckerman functors

We identify the Grothendieck group of certain direct sum of singular blocks of the highest weight category for sl(n) with the n-th tensor power of the fundamental (two-dimensional) sl(2)-module. General representation theory in relatively closed monoidal categories

We apply the notion of relative adjoint functor to generalise closed monoidal categories. We define representations in such categories and give their relation with left actions of monoids. The translation of these representations under lax monoidal functors is investigated. We introduce tensor product of representations of bimonoids as a functorial binary operation and show how symmetric lax monoidal functors act on this product. Finally we apply the general theory to classical and quantum representations.

Serre functors and graded categories

We study Serre structures on categories enriched in pivotal monoidal categories, and apply this to study Serre structures on two types of graded k-linear categories: categories with group actions and categories with graded hom spaces. We check that Serre structures are preserved by taking orbit categories and skew group categories, and describe the relationship with graded Frobenius algebras. $\mathcal{U}(\mathfrak{h})$-free modules and coherent families

We investigate the category of U(h)-free g-modules. Using a functor from this category to the category of coherent families, we show that U(h)-free modules only can exist when g is of type A or C. We then proceed to classify isomorphism classes of U(h)-free modules of rank 1 in type C, which includes an explicit construction of new simple sp(2n)-modules. Finally, we show how translation functors can be used to obtain simple U(h)-free modules of higher rank.

Higher-dimensional Auslander-Reiten theory on $(d+2)$-angulated categories

Let $\mathscr{C}$ be a $(d+2)$-angulated category with $d$-suspension functor $Σ^d$. Our main results show that every Serre functor on $\mathscr{C}$ is a $(d+2)$-angulated functor. We also show that $\mathscr{C}$ has a Serre functor $\mathbb{S}$ if and only if $\mathscr{C}$ has Auslander--Reiten $(d+2)$-angles.
