Infinite dimensional representations of the real form U_q(u_{n,1}) of the Drinfeld--Jimbo algebra U_q(gl_{n+1}) are defined. The principal series of representations of U_q(u_{n,1}) is studied. Intertwining operators for pairs of the principal series representations are calculated in an explicit form. The structure of reducible representations of the principal series is determined. Irreducible representations of U_q(u_{n,1}), obtained from irreducible and reducible principal series representations, are classified. All *-representations in this set of irreducible representations are separated. Unlike the classical case, the algebra U_q(u_{n,1}) has finite dimensional irreducible *-representations.
In this paper we study the representation theory for certain ``half lattice vertex algebras.'' In particular we construct a large class of irreducible modules for these vertex algebras. We also discuss how the representation theory of these vertex algebras are related to the representation theory of some associative algebras.
Given a simple finite-dimensional Lie algebra and an automorphism of finite order, one defines the notion of a twisted toroidal Lie algebra. In this paper, we construct representations of twisted toroidal Lie algebras from twisted modules over affine and lattice vertex algebras.
We present a method to construct induced representations of quantum algebras having the structure of bicrossproduct. We apply this procedure to some quantum kinematical algebras in (1+1)--dimensions with this kind of structure: null-plane quantum Poincare algebra, non-standard quantum Galilei algebra and quantum kappa Galilei algebra.
In this note we explain, in terms of finite dimensional representations of Lie algebras $\mathfrak{sp}_{2\ell}\subset\mathfrak{sl}_{2\ell}$, a combinatorial coincidence of difference conditions in two constructions of combinatorial bases for standard representations of symplectic affine Lie algebras.
We construct level 1 basic representations of the quantized current algebras associated to higher genus algebraic curves using one free field. We also clarify the relation between the elliptic current algebras of the papers [EF] and [JKOS].
Generalizing our earlier work, we introduce the homogeneous quantum $Z$-algebras for all quantum affine algebras $\alg$ of type one. With the new algebras we unite previously scattered realizations of quantum affine algebras in various cases. As a result we find a realization of $U_q(F_4^{(1)})$.
For q generic or a primitive l-th root of unity, q-Witt algebras are described by means of q-divided power algebras. The structure of the universal q-central extension of the q-Witt algebra, the q-Virasoro algebra, is also determined. q-Lie algebras are investigated and the q-PBW theorem for the universal enveloping algebras of q-Lie algebras is proved. A realization of a class of representations of the q-Witt algebras is given. Based on it, the q-holomorph structure for the q-Witt algebras is constructed, which interprets the realization in the context of representation theory.
An inductive approach to the representation theory of cyclotomic Hecke algebras, inspired by Okounkov and Vershik, is developed. We study the common spectrum of the Jucys-Murphy elements using representations of the simplest affine Hecke algebra. Representations are constructed with the help of a new associative algebra whose underlying vector space is the tensor product of the cyclotomic Hecke algebra with the free associative algebra generated by standard m-tableaux.
Hilbert space representations of the cross product *-algebra of the Hopf *-algebra U_q(su_2) and its module *-algebras O(S^2_{qc}) of Podles' spheres are studied. Two classes of representations are described by explicit formulas for the actions of the generators.
In this paper, we study the representations of the new finite-dimensional pointed Hopf algebras in positive characteristic given in \cite{Cib09}. We find that these Hopf algebras are symmetric algebras. We determine the simple modules and their projective covers over these Hopf algebras. We show that these Hopf algebras are of wild representation type.
We establish a quantum cluster algebra structure on the quantum Grothendieck ring of a certain monoidal subcategory of the category of finite-dimensional representations of a simply-laced quantum affine algebra. Moreover, the (q,t)-characters of certain irreducible representations, among which fundamental representations, are obtained as quantum cluster variables. This approach gives a new algorithm to compute these (q,t)-characters. As an application, we prove that the quantum Grothendieck ring of a larger category of representations of the Borel subalgebra of the quantum affine algebra, defi…
The purpose of this paper is to study representations of simple multiplicative Hom-Lie algebras. First, we provide a new proof using Killing form for characterization theorem of simple Hom-Lie algebras given by Chen and Han, then discuss the representations structure of simple multiplicative Hom-Lie algebras. Moreover, we study weight modules and root space decompositions of simple multiplicative Hom-Lie algebras, characterize weight modules and provide examples of representations of $\mathfrak{sl}_2$-type Hom-Lie algebras.
We begin the study of unitary representations of Hecke algebras of complex reflections groups. We obtain a complete classification for the Hecke algebra of the symmetric group $\mathfrak{S}_n$ over the complex numbers. Interestingly, the unitary representations in the category $\OO$ for the rational Cherednik algebra of type A studied in \cite{ESG} correspond to the unitary representations of the corresponding Hecke algebra via the KZ functor defined in \cite{GGOR}.
In this paper we study of *-representations for polynomial algebras on quantum matrix spaces. We deal with two special cases of the polynomial algebras, namely the algebra of polynomials on quantum complex matrices $\mathrm{Mat_2}$ and on quantum complex symmetric matrices $\mathrm{Mat_2^{sym}}$. For the second algebra we classify all irreducible *-representations by bounded operators in a Hilbert space (up to a unitary equivalence). Moreover, we present a construction of *-representations of the above algebras which enables to obtain the full list of *-representations (sometimes by passing to…
We study some non-semisimple representations of affine Temperley--Lieb algebras and related cellular algebras. In particular, we classify extensions between simple standard modules. Moreover, we construct a completion which is an infinite dimensional cellular algebra.
This paper surveys the representation theory of rational Cherednik algebras. We also discuss the representations of the spherical subalgebras. We describe in particular the results on category O. For type A, we explain relations with the Hilbert scheme of points on C^2. We insist on the analogy with the representation theory of complex semi-simple Lie algebras.
Based on a recent result of Mathas and the author, we prove that Uno's conjecture on representation types of Hecke algebras is true for all Hecke algebras of classical type.
In \cite{DFW} and \cite{Fu07}, little $q$-Schur algebras were introduced as homomorphic images of the infinitesimal quantum groups. In this paper, we will investigate representations of these algebras. We will classify simple modules for little $q$-Schur algebras and classify semisimple little $q$-Schur algebras. Moreover, through the classification of the blocks of little $q$-Schur algebras for $n=2$, we will determine little $q$-Schur algebras of finite representation type in the odd roots of unity case.
We construct a class of new Lie algebras by generalizing the one-variable Lie algebras generated by the quadratic conformal algebras (or corresponding Hamiltonian operators) associated to Poisson algebras and a quasi-derivation found by Xu. These algebras can be viewed as certain twists of Xu's generalized Hamiltonian Lie algebras. The simplicity of these algebras is completely determined. Moreover, we construct a family of multiplicity-free representations of these Lie algebras and prove their irreducibility.
We study the restriction of representations of Cayley-Hamilton algebras to subalgebras. This theory is applied to determine tensor products and branching rules for representations of quantum groups at roots of 1.
We classify simple representations of Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras in finite type. The classification is in terms of a standard family of representations that is shown to yield the dual PBW basis in the Grothendieck group. Finally, we prove a conjecture describing the global dimension of these algebras.
The classification of the representations of the generalized deformed oscillator algebra is given together with several comments about possibility of introducing a coproduct structure in some type of deformed oscillator algebra.
We give a broad study of representation and module theory of Rota-Baxter algebras. Regular-singular decompositions of Rota-Baxter algebras and Rota-Baxter modules are obtained under the condition of quasi-idempotency. Representations of an Rota-Baxter algebra are shown to be equivalent to the representations of the ring of Rota-Baxter operators whose categorical properties are obtained and explicit constructions are provided. Representations from coalgebras are investigated and their algebraic Birkhoff factorization is given. Representations of Rota-Baxter algebras in the tensor category conte…
We prove a highest weight theorem classifying irerducible finite--dimensional representations of quantum affine algebras and survey what is currently known about the structure of these representations.
We complete the classification of the finite dimensional irreducible representations of finite W-algebras associated to even multiplicity nilpotent elements in classical Lie algebras. This extends earlier work where this classification is determined for such representations of integral central character.
In this paper we introduce the notion of the stability of a sequence of modules over Hecke algebras. We prove that a finitely generated consistent sequence associated with Hecke algebras is representation stable.
We propose the notion of q-characters for finite-dimensional representations of quantum affine algebras. It is motivated by our theory of deformed W-algebras. We show that the q-characters give rise to a homomorphism from the Grothendieck ring of representations of a quantum affine algebra to a polynomial ring. We conjecture that the image of this homomorphism is equal to the intersection of certain "screening operators". We also discuss the connection between q-characters and Bethe Ansatz.
We study Hom-quantum groups, their representations, and module Hom-algebras. Two Twisting Principles for Hom-type algebras are formulated, and construction results are proved following these Twisting Principles. Examples include Hom-quantum n-spaces, Hom-quantum enveloping algebras of Kac-Moody algebras, Hom-Verma modules, and Hom-type analogs of U_q(sl_2)-module-algebra structures on the quantum planes.
We consider three quantum algebras: the q-oscillator algebra, the Podles' sphere and the q-deformed enveloping algebra of $su(2).$ To each of these *-algebras we associate certain partial dynamical system and perform the "Mackey analysis" of *-representations developed in [SS]. As a result we get the description of "standard" irreducible *-representations. Further, for each of these examples we show the existence of a "$C^*$-envelope" which is canonically isomorphic to the covariance $C^*$-algebra of the partial dynamical system. Finally, for the q-oscillator algebra and the q-deformed $\cU(su…
We study the highest weight and continuous tensor product representations of q-deformed Lie algebras through the mappings of a manifold into a locally compact group. As an example the highest weight representation of the q-deformed algebra $sl_q(2,\Cb)$ is calculated in detail.
