A note on the minimal tensor product and the C*-envelope of operator systems

In this article, we show that the $C^*$-envelope of the minimal tensor product of two operator systems is isomorphic to the minimal tensor product of their $C^*$-envelopes. We do this by identifying the Silov boundary ideal of the minimal tensor product of two operator systems. Finally, as an application of this result, we show that the propagation number of the minimal tensor product of operator systems is the maximum of the propagation numbers of the factors.

C*-envelopes of tensor algebras for multivariable dynamics

We give a new very concrete description of the C*-envelope of the tensor algebra associated to multivariable dynamical system. In the surjective case, this C*-envelope is described as a crossed product by an endomorphism, and as a groupoid C*-algebra. In the non-surjective case, it is a full corner of a such an algebra. We also show that when the space is compact, then the C*-envelope is simple if and only if the system is minimal.

$C^*$-simplicity and Ozawa conjecture for groupoid $C^*$-algebras, part I: injective envelopes

This paper studies injective envelopes of groupoid dynamical systems and the corresponding boundaries. Analogue to the group case, we associate a bundle of compact Hausdorff spaces to any (discrete) groupoid (the Hamana boundary of the groupoid). We study bundles of compact topological spaces equipped with an action of a groupoid. We show that any groupoid has a minimal boundary (the Furstenberg boundary of the groupoid). Semicrossed products of C*-algebras and their C*-envelopes

Let $\mathcal{C}$ be a C*-algebra and $α:\mathcal{C} \rightarrow \mathcal{C}$ a unital *-endomorphism. There is a natural way to construct operator algebras which are called semicrossed products, using a convolution induced by the action of $α$ on $\mathcal{C}$. We show that the C*-envelope of a semicrossed product is (a full corner of) a crossed product. As a consequence, we get that, when $α$ is *-injective, the semicrossed products are completely isometrically isomorphic and share the same C*-envelope, the crossed product $\mathcal{C}_\infty \rtimes_{α_\infty} \mathbb{Z}$.
