On the Shintani zeta function for the space of pairs of binary Hermitian forms

Throughout this paper, k is a number field. We fix a quadratic extension k_1=k(a_0) of k, where a_0=sqrt(B_0) for a certain B_0 in k^\times/(k^\times)^2. In this paper, we consider the zeta function defined for the space of pairs of binary Hermitian forms. This is the prehomogeneous vector space we discussed in section 2 [1] and is a non-split form of the D_4 case in [4]. Generalized zeta integrals on certain real prehomogeneous vector spaces

Let $X$ be a real prehomogeneous vector space under a reductive group $G$, such that $X$ is an absolutely spherical $G$-variety with affine open orbit. We define local zeta integrals that involve the integration of Schwartz-Bruhat functions on $X$ against generalized matrix coefficients of admissible representations of $G(\mathbb{R})$, twisted by complex powers of relative invariants. We establish the convergence of these integrals in some range, the meromorphic continuation as well as a functional equation in terms of abstract $γ$-factors. On some zeta-integrals for unramified representations of GSp(4)

This article is a companion to several works of the author and others on the arithmetic of automorphic forms for GSp(4), and their associated L-functions and Galois representations. These works require, at various points, an input from smooth representation theory over p-adic local fields: the computation of values of the unique trilinear form on an unramified representation of GSp(4) x GL(2) x GL(2) invariant under the diagonal GL(2) x GL(2), for various different input data. In this note, we carry out these local computations, using a general formula for Shintani functions due to Gejima.

On the geometric side of the Arthur trace formula for the symplectic group of rank 2

We study the non-semisimple terms in the geometric side of the Arthur trace formula for the split symplectic similitude group or the split symplectic group of rank 2 over any algebraic number field. In particular, we show that the coefficients of unipotent orbital integrals are expressed by the Dedekind zeta function, Hecke L-functions, and the Shintani zeta function for the space of binary quadratic forms.

Higher Selberg zeta functions for congruence subgroups

As a generalization of the results [KW3],we study the functional equation of the higher Selberg zeta function for congruence subgroups. To obtain the gamma factor of this function, we introduce a higher Dirichlet $L$-function. Then we determine the gamma factor explicitly in terms of the Barnes triple gamma function and the higher Dirichlet $L$-function.

A special value of the spectral zeta function of the non-commutative harmonic osciallators

The non-commutative harmonic oscillator is a $2\times2$-system of harmonic oscillators with a non-trivial correlation. We write down explicitly the special value at $s=2$ of the spectral zeta function of the non-commutative harmonic oscillator in terms of the complete elliptic integral of the first kind, which is a special case of a hypergeometric function.
