In this paper, we will define general Eulerian numbers and Eulerian polynomials based on general arithmetic progressions. Under the new definitions, we have been successful in extending several well-known properties of traditional Eulerian numbers and polynomials to the general Eulerian polynomials and numbers.

An identity of Chung, Graham and Knuth involving binomial coefficients and Eulerian numbers motivates our study of a class of polynomials that we call binomial-Eulerian polynomials. Article presents a short investigation into some properties of the Moser polynomials which appear in various problems from algebraic combinatorics. For instance, these polynomials can be used to solve the Generalized Moser's Problem on multiset recovery: Can a collection (multiset) of $n$ numbers can be uniquely restored given the collection of its $s$-sums? We prove some explicit formulas showing relationships between Moser polynomials and such popular algebraic combinatorial sequences as Eulerian and Stirling numbers.

Gamma-positivity appears frequently in finite geometries, combinatorics and number theory. Motivated by the recent work of Sagan and Tirrell (Adv. Math., 374 (2020), 107387), we study the relationships between gamma-positivity and alternating gamma-positivity.
