Proof of Swiss Cheese Version of Deligne's Conjecture

For an associative algebra A we consider the pair "the Hochschild cochain complex C*(A,A) and the algebra A". There is a natural 2-colored operad which acts on this pair. We show that this operad is quasi-isomorphic to the singular chain operad of Voronov's Swiss Cheese operad. This statement is the Swiss Cheese version of the Deligne conjecture formulated by M. Kontsevich in arXiv:math/9904055.

Operadic Twisting -- with an application to Deligne's conjecture

We study categorial properties of the operadic twisting functor Tw. In particular, we show that Tw is a comonad. Coalgebras of this comonad are operads for which a natural notion of twisting by Maurer-Cartan elements exists. We give a large class of examples, including the classical cases of the Lie, associative and Gerstenhaber operads, and their infinity-counterparts L-infinity, A-infinity, G-infinity. Deligne's conjecture on extensions of 1-motives

We introduce the notion of extension of 1-motives. Using the dictionary between strictly commutative Picard stacks and complexes of abelian sheaves concentrated in degrees -1 and 0, we check that an extension of 1-motives induces an extension of the corresponding strictly commutative Picard stacks. We compute the Hodge, the de Rham and the l-adic realizations of an extention of 1-motives. Using these results we can prove Deligne's conjecture on extensions of 1-motives.

From Jacobians to one-motives: exposition of a conjecture of Deligne

Deligne has conjectured that certain mixed Hodge theoretic invariants of complex algebraic invariants are motivic. This conjecture specializes to an algebraic construction of the Jacobian for smooth projective curves, which was done by A. Weil. The conjecture (and one-motives) are motivated by means of Jacobians, generalized Jacobians of Rosenlicht, and Serre's generalized Albanese varieties. We discuss the connections with the Hodge and the generalized Hodge conjecture. We end with some applications to number theory by providing partial answers to questions of Serre, Katz and Jannsen.

Gerstenhaber algebra and Deligne's conjecture on Tate-Hochschild cohomology

Using non-commutative differential forms, we construct a complex called singular Hochschild cochain complex for any associative algebra over a field. The cohomology of this complex is isomorphic to the Tate-Hochschild cohomology in the sense of Buchweitz. By a natural action of the cellular chain operad of the spineless cacti operad, introduced by R. Kaufmann, on the singular Hochschild cochain complex, we provide a proof of the Deligne's conjecture for this complex.
