We show that elliptic classes introduced in our earlier paper for spaces with infinite fundamental groups yield Novikov's type higher elliptic genera which are invariants of K-equivalence. This include, as a special case, the birational invariance of higher Todd classes studied recently by J.Rosenberg and J.Block-S.Weinberger. We also prove the modular properties of these genera, show that they satisfy a McKay correspondence, and consider their twist by discrete torsion.

A simple construction of indecomposable higher Chow cycles in elliptic surfaces

I construct regulator indecomposable higher Chow cycles in elliptic surfaces satisfying certain conditions. As an application I give an alternative proof of a theorem of Gordon and Lewis, which asserts that there is a real regulator indecomposable cycles in a product of general elliptic curves.

Stability and Fourier-Mukai Transforms on Higher Dimensional Elliptic Fibrations

We consider elliptic fibrations with arbitrary base dimensions, and generalise previous work by the second author. In particular, we check universal closedness for the moduli of semistable objects with respect to a polynomial stability that reduces to PT-stability on threefolds. Higher Dimensional Elliptic Fibrations and Zariski Decompositions

We study the existence and properties of birationally equivalent models for elliptically fibered varieties. In particular these have either the structure of Mori fiber spaces or, assuming some standard conjectures, minimal models with a Zariski decomposition compatible with the elliptic fibration. We prove relations between the birational invariants of the elliptically fibered variety, the base of the fibration and of its Jacobian.

BCOV theory on the elliptic curve and higher genus mirror symmetry

We develop the quantum Kodaira-Spencer theory on the elliptic curve and establish the corresponding higher genus B-model. We show that the partition functions of the higher genus B-model on the elliptic curve are almost holomorphic modular forms, which can be identified with partition functions of descendant Gromov-Witten invariants on the mirror elliptic curve. This gives the first compact Calabi-Yau example where mirror symmetry is established at all genera.

On the Average Value of the Canonical Height in Higher Dimensional Families of Elliptic curves

Given an elliptic curve E over a function field K=Q(T_1,...,T_n), we study the behavior of the canonical height ^h_(E_w) of the specialized elliptic curve E_w with respect to the height of w in Q^n. In this paper, we prove that there exists a uniform non-zero lower bound for the average of the quotient ^h_(E_w)(P_w)/h(w) for all non-torsion P in E(K).

Computing the elliptic genus of higher rank E-strings from genus 0 GW invariants

We show that the elliptic genus of the higher rank E-strings can be computed based solely on the genus 0 Gromov-Witten invariants of the corresponding elliptic geometry. To set up our computation, we study the structure of the topological string free energy on elliptically fibered Calabi-Yau manifolds both in the unrefined and the refined case, determining the maximal amount of the modular structure of the partition function that can be salvaged. The Universal Elliptic KZB Connection in Higher Level

The level $N$ elliptic KZB connection is a flat connection over the universal elliptic curve in level $N$ with its $N$-torsion sections removed. Its fiber over the point $(E,x)$ is the unipotent completion of $π_1(E - E[N],x)$. It was constructed by Calaque and Gonzalez. On the extendability of elliptic surfaces of rank two and higher

We study threefolds X in a projective space having as hyperplane section a smooth surface with an elliptic fibration. We first give a general theorem about the possible embeddings of such surfaces with Picard number two. More precise results are then proved for Weierstrass fibrations, both of rank two and higher. Elliptic and Hyperelliptic Solutions of Discrete Painlevé I and Its Extensions to Higher Order Difference Equations

The solutions of the discrete Painlevé equation I were constructed in terms of elliptic and hyperelliptic $ψ$ functions for algebraic curves of genera one and two.
