Hopf algebra deformations of binary polyhedral groups

We show that semisimple Hopf algebras having a self-dual faithful irreducible comodule of dimension 2 are always obtained as abelian extensions with quotient Z_2. We prove that nontrivial Hopf algebras arising in this way can be regarded as deformations of binary polyhedral groups and describe its category of representations. We also prove a strengthening of a result of Nichols and Richmond on cosemisimple Hopf algebras with a 2-dimensional irreducible comodule in the finite dimensional context. The deformation complex is a homotopy invariant of a homotopy algebra

To a homotopy algebra one may associate its deformation complex, which is naturally a differential graded Lie algebra. We show that infinity quasi-isomorphic homotopy algebras have L-infinity quasi-isomorphic deformation complexes by an explicit construction.

Knot Complement, ADO-Invariants and their Deformations for Torus Knots

A relation between the two-variable series knot invariant and the Akutus-Deguchi-Ohtsuki(ADO)-invariant was conjectured recently. We reinforce the conjecture by presenting explicit formulas and/or an algorithm for certain ADO-invariants of torus knots obtained from the series invariant of complement of a knot. Furthermore, one parameter deformation of ADO_3-polynomial of torus knots is provided.

q-Conformal Invariant Equations and q-Plane Wave Solutions

We give new solutions of the quantum conformal deformations of the full Maxwell equations in terms of deformations of the plane wave. We study the compatibility of these solutions with the conservation of the current. We also start the study of quantum linear conformal (Weyl) gravity by writing the corresponding q-deformed equations.

Reversible skew Laurent polynomial rings and deformations of Poisson automorphisms

A skew Laurent polynomial ring R[x^{\pm 1};α] is reversible if it has a reversing automorphism, that is, an automorphism of period two that transposes x and x^{-1} and restricts to an automorphism of R. We study invariants for reversing automorphisms and apply our methods to determine the rings of invariants of reversing automorphisms of two simple skew Laurent polynomial rings, namely a localization of the enveloping algebra of the two-dimensional non-abelian solvable Lie algebra and the coordinate ring of the quantum torus. Replica-deformation of the SU(2)-invariant Thirring model via solutions of the qKZ equation

The response of an integrable QFT under variation of the Unruh temperature has recently been shown to be computable from an S-matrix preserving (`replica') deformation of the form factor approach. We show that replica-deformed form factors of the SU(2)-invariant Thirring model can be found among the solutions of the rational $sl_2$-type quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation at generic level. Deformation quantization and invariant distributions

In 1979, M. Kashiwara and M. Vergne formulated a conjecture on a Lie group G which implies that the Duflo isomorphism of Z(g) and S(g)^g extends to a natural module isomorphism between the spaces of germs of invariant distributions on G and g=Lie(G), respectively. They also proved their conjecture for G solvable. Using Kontsevich's deformation quantization we establish directly this result for distributions on any real Lie group G. In turn this gives a new proof of Duflo's result on the local solvability of bi-invariant differential operators on G.

On the isomorphism between the reduction algebra and the invariant differential operators on Lie groups

Using techniques of deformation (bi)quantization we establish a non-canonical algebra isomorphism between the deformed reduction algebra and the invariant differential operators on G/H. Further results concerning other deformations of these two algebras are also proved. Part of the author's PhD thesis at University Paris 7, 2009.

A three-parameter deformation of the Weyl-Heisenberg algebra: differential calculus and invariance

We define a three-parameter deformation of the Weyl-Heisenberg algebra that generalizes the q-oscillator algebra. By a purely algebraical procedure, we set up on this quantum space two differential calculi that are shown to be invariant on the same quantum group, extended to a ten-generator Hopf-star-algebra. We prove that, when the values of the parameters are related, the two differential calculi reduce to one that is invariant under two quantum groups.
