By a transfer principle Pascal's Theorem is equivalent to a theorem about point pairs on the real line. It appears that Pascal's Theorem is equivalent to the vanishing of a common invariant of six quadratic forms. Using the q-deformed invariant theory of \cite{L} we construct corresponding quantum invariants by a computer calculation.

Recently Kontsevich solved the classification problem for deformation quantizations of all Poisson structures on a manifold. In this paper we study those Poisson structures for which the explicit methods of Fedosov can be applied, namely the Poisson structures coming from symplectic Lie algebroids, as well as holomorphic symplectic structures. For deformations of these structures we prove the classification theorems and a general a general index theorem.

We construct a nontrivial cyclic cocycle on the Weyl algebra of a symplectic vector space. Using this cyclic cocycle we construct an explicit, local, quasi-isomorphism from the complex of differential forms on a symplectic manifold to the complex of cyclic cochains of any formal deformation quantization thereof. We give a new proof of Nest-Tsygan's algebraic higher index theorem by computing the pairing between such cyclic cocycles and the $K$-theory of the formal deformation quantization. Based on a construction by Kashiwara and Rouquier, we present an analogue of the Beilinson- Bernstein localization theorem for hypertoric varieties. In this case, sheaves of differential operators are replaced by sheaves of W-algebras. As a special case, our result gives a localization theorem for rational Cherednik algebras associated to cyclic groups.

The paper is the sequel to q-alg/9704011. We extend the Drinfeld-Sokolov reduction procedure to q-difference operators associated with arbitrary semisimple Lie algebras. This leads to a new elliptic deformation of the Lie bialgebra structure on the associated loop algebra. The related classical r-matrix is explicitly described in terms of the Coxeter transformation. We also present a cross-section theorem for q-gauge transformations which generalizes a theorem due to R.Steinberg.

Let $A$ be a finite-dimensional smooth unital cyclic $A_\infty$-algebra. Assume furthermore that $A$ satisfies the Hodge-to-de-Rham degeneration property. In this short note, we prove the non-commutative analogue of the Bogomolov-Tian-Todorov theorem: the deformation functor associated with the differential graded Lie algebra of Hochschild cochains of $A$ is smooth.
