We show that the holomorphic ideal sheaf of a linear section of a pseudoconvex open subset $Ω$ of, say, a Hilbert space $X=\ell_2$ is acyclic.
We also prove an analog of Hefer's lemma, i.e., if $f:Ω\timesΩ\to\CC$ is holomorphic and $f(x,x)=0$ for $x\inΩ$, then there is a holomorphic $g:Ω\timesΩ\to X^*$ with values in the dual space $X^*$ of $X$ such that $f(x,y)=g(x,y)(x-y)$
We discuss possible generalizations of Vitali convergence theorem when the source and the target are Banach analytic manifolds. These results are then applied to study behavior of holomorphic mappings between Banach analytic manifolds. Explicit examples of manifolds having Vitali properties are also provided.
We characterize all entire functions that transform a weighted Banach spaces of analytic functions $\mathcal{H}^{\infty}_{μ_1}$ into another space of the same kind $\mathcal{H}^{\infty}_{μ_2}$ by superposition for very general weights $μ_1$ and $μ_2$.
We introduce a class of analytic sheaves in a Banach space X, that we call cohesive sheaves. Cohesion is meant to generalize the notion of coherence from finite dimensional analysis. Accordingly, we prove the analog of Cartan's Theorems A and B for cohesive sheaves over pseudoconvex open subsets of X, provided X has an unconditional basis.
Let $X$ be a real Banach space with an unconditional basis (e.g., $X=\ell_2$ Hilbert space), $Ω\subset X$ open, $M\subsetΩ$ a closed split real analytic Banach submanifold of $Ω$, $E\to M$ a real analytic Banach vector bundle, and ${\Cal A}^E\to M$ the sheaf of germs of real analytic sections of $E\to M$. We show that the sheaf cohomology groups $H^q(M,{\Cal A}^E)$ vanish for all $q\ge1$, and there is a real analytic retraction $r:U\to M$ from an open set $U$ with $M\subset U\subsetΩ$ such that $r(x)=x$ for all $x\in M$. Some applications are also given, e.g., we show that any infinite dimensi…
Among other things, we show that the ideal sheaf of a complex Hilbert submanifold of a pseudoconvex open subset of Hilbert space is acyclic over the ambient pseudoconvex open set. We also prove a vanishing theorem for a fairly general class of analytic sheaves over pseudoconvex open sets of a large class of Banach spaces. Some applications are also given.
We prove a certain non-linear version of the Levi extension theorem for meromorphic functions. This means that the meromorphic function in question is supposed to be extendable along a sequence of complex curves, which are arbitrary, not necessarily straight lines. Moreover, these curves are not supposed to belong to any finite dimensional analytic family. The conclusion of our theorem is that nevertheless the function in question meromorphically extends along an (infinite dimensional) analytic family of complex curves and its domain of existence is a pinched domain filled in by this analytic …
Smith et al. recently gave the sufficient and necessary conditions for the boundedness of Volterra type operators on Banach spaces of bounded analytic functions when the symbol functions are univalent. In this paper, we give the complete characterizations of the conditions for the boundedness and compactness of Volterra type operators $T_g$ and their companion operators $S_g$ between weighted Banach spaces of analytic functions, which essentially generalize their works.
We give a rather simple proof of the generalization of Kuhlmann's quasi-proper direct image theorem to the case of a map with values in a Banach analytic set. The proof uses a generalization of the Remmert-Stein's theorem to this context. AMS Classification. 32 H 02-32 K 05-32 C 25.
M. J. Beltrán-Meneua et al. \cite{beltran1} and E. Jordá and A. Rodríguez-Arenas \cite{jorda} characterized the (uniformly) mean ergodic composition operators on $H^\infty(\mathbb{D})$ and $H^\infty_ν(\mathbb{D})$, respectively. In this paper, by using the interpolating sequences, we give other necessary and sufficient conditions for the (uniformly) mean ergodicity of composition operators on these spaces.
In the paper compact multiplier operators on Banach spaces of analytic functions on the unit disk with the range in Banach sequence lattices are studied. If the domain space $X$ is such that $H_\infty\hookrightarrow X\hookrightarrow H_1$, necessary and sufficient conditions for compactness are presented. Moreover, the calculation of the Hausdorff measure of noncompactness for diagonal operators between Banach sequence lattices is applied to obtaining the characterization of compact multipliers in case the domain space $X$ satisfies $H_\infty\hookrightarrow X\hookrightarrow H_2$.
We use properties of the sequences of zeros of certain spaces of analytic functions in the unit disc $\mathbb D$ to study the question of characterizing the weighted superposition operators which map one of these spaces into another. We also prove that for a large class of Banach spaces of analytic functions in $\mathbb D$, $Y$, we have that if the superposition operator $S_φ$ associated to the entire function $φ$ is a bounded operator from $X$, a certain Banach space of analytic functions in $\mathbb D$, into $Y$, then the superposition operator $S_{φ^\prime }$ maps $X$ into $Y$.
We give a real-analytic section for the Teichmüller projection onto the VMO-Teichmüller space by using the variant of Beurling-Ahlfors extension by heat kernel introduced by Fefferman, Kenig and Pipher in 1991. Based on this result, we prove that the VMO-Teichmüller space can be endowed with a real Banach manifold structure that is real-analytically equivalent to its complex Banach manifold structure. We also obtain that the VMO-Teichmüller space admits a real-analytic contraction mapping.

Using the Cauchy-Riemann operator, we characterize $Q_K$ spaces, Besov spaces and analytic Morrey spaces in terms of pseudoanalytic extensions of primitive functions. Our results are also true on some classical Banach spaces, such as the Bloch space, $BMOA$ and the Dirichlet space.
Analytic functions defined on a tube domain $T^{C}\subset \mathbb{C}^{n}$ and taking values in a Banach space $X$ which are known to have $X$-valued distributional boundary values are shown to be in the Hardy space $H^{p}(T^{C},X)$ if the boundary value is in the vector valued Lebesgue space $L^{p}(\mathbb{R}^{n},X)$, where $1\leq p \leq \infty$ and $C$ is a regular open convex cone. Poisson integral transform representations of elements of $H^{p}(T^{C}, X)$ are also obtained for certain classes of Banach spaces, including reflexive Banach spaces.
When the weight $μ$ is more general than normal, the complete characterizations in terms of the symbol $g$ and weights for the conditions of the boundedness and compactness of $T_g: H^{\infty}_ν\rightarrow H^{\infty}_μ$ and $S_g: H^{\infty}_ν\rightarrow H^{\infty}_μ$ are still unknown. Smith et al. firstly gave the sufficient and necessary conditions for the boundedness of Volterra type operators on Banach spaces of bounded analytic functions when the symbol functions are univalent. In this paper, continuing their lines of investigations, we give the complete characterizations of the condition…
We consider weighted algebras of holomorphic functions on a Banach space. We determine conditions on a family of weights that assure that the corresponding weighted space is an algebra or has polynomial Schauder decompositions. We study the spectra of weighted algebras and endow them with an analytic structure. We also deal with composition operators and algebra homomorphisms, in particular to investigate how their induced mappings act on the analytic structure of the spectrum. Moreover, a Banach-Stone type question is addressed.
We investigate mapping properties for the Bargmann transform on modulation spaces whose weights and their reciprocals are allowed to grow faster than exponentials. We prove that this transform is isometric and bijective from modulation spaces to convenient Lebesgue spaces of analytic functions. We use this to prove that such modulation spaces fulfill most of the continuity properties which are well-known when the weights are moderated. Finally we use the results to establish continuity properties of Toeplitz and pseudo-differential operators in the context of these modulation spaces.
The Cluster Value Theorem is known for being a weak version of the classical Corona Theorem. Given a Banach space $X$, we study the Cluster Value Problem for the ball algebra $A_u(B_X)$, the Banach algebra of all uniformly continuous holomorphic functions on the unit ball $B_X$; and also for the Fréchet algebra $H_b(X)$ of holomorphic functions of bounded type on $X$ (more generally, for $H_b(U)$, the algebra of holomorphic functions of bounded type on a given balanced open subset $U \subset X$). We show that Cluster Value Theorems hold for all of these algebras whenever the dual of $X$ has th…
