The representation of a meromorphic function as the quotient of entire functions and Paley problem in C^n: survey of some results

The classical representation problem for a meromorphic function f in C^n, n>=1, consists in representing f as the quotient f=g/h of two entire functions g and h, each with logarithm of modulus majorized by a function as close as possible to the Nevanlinna characteristic. Here we introduce generalizations of the Nevanlinna characteristic and give a short survey of classical and recent results on the representation of a meromorphic function in terms such characteristics. When f has a finite lower order, the Paley problem on best possible estimates of the growth of entire functions g and h in the representations f=g/h will be considered. Also we point out to some unsolved problems in this area.

Meromorphic quotients for some holomorphic G-actions

On the growth of logarithmic differences, difference quotients and logarithmic derivatives of meromorphic functions

Quantitative estimates of sampling constants in model spaces

We establish quantitative estimates for sampling (dominating) sets in model spaces associated with meromorphic inner functions, i.e. those corresponding to de Branges spaces. Invariant meromorphic functions on Stein spaces

In this paper we develop fundamental tools and methods to study meromorphic functions in an equivariant setup. As our main result we construct quotients of Rosenlicht-type for Stein spaces acted upon holomorphically by complex-reductive Lie groups and their algebraic subgroups. On meromorphic mappings admitting an Algebraic Addition Theorem

A proper or singular abelian mapping from $C^n$ to $\bar\C^n$ is parametrized by $n$ meromorphic functions with at most $2n$ periods. A lemma on the difference quotients

Using a new Borel type growth lemma, we extend the difference analogue of the lemma on the logarithmic derivative due to Halburd and Korhonen to the case of meromorphic functions $f(z)$ such that $\log T(r,f)\leq r/(\log r)^{2+ν}$, $ν>0$, for all sufficiently large $r$.
