Regularity and estimates for $J$-holomorphic discs attached to a maximal totally real submanifold

We prove that pseudo-holomorphic discs attached to a maximal totally real submanifold inherit their regularity from the regularity of the submanifold and of the almost complex structure. The proof is based on the computation of an explicit lower bound for the Kobayashi metric in almost complex manifolds, which also yields explicit estimates of Hölderian norms of such discs.

Estimates of the Kobayashi metric on almost complex manifolds

We establish a lower estimate for the Kobayashi-Royden infinitesimal pseudometric on an almost complex manifold $(M,J)$ admitting a bounded strictly plurisubharmonic function. We apply this result to study the boundary behaviour of the metric on a strictly pseudoconvex domain in $M$ and to give a sufficient condition for the complete hyperbolicity of a domain in $(M,J)$. Finally we obtain the regularity up to the bounday of $J$-holomorphic discs attached to a totally real submanifold in $M$.

Hamiltonian systems on almost cosymplectic manifolds

We determine the Hamiltonian vector field on an odd dimensional manifold endowed with almost cosymplectic structure. This is a generalization of the corresponding Hamiltonian vector field on manifolds with almost transitive contact structures, which extends the contact Hamiltonian systems. On the symplectic curvature flow for locally homogeneous manifolds

Recently, J. Streets and G. Tian introduced a natural way to evolve an almost-Kähler manifold called the symplectic curvature flow, in which the metric, the symplectic structure and the almost-complex structure are all evolving. We study in this paper different aspects of the flow on locally homogeneous manifolds, including long-time existence, solitons, regularity and convergence.
