We first prove the L^p-convergence (p\geq 1) and a Fernique-type exponential integrability of divergence functionals for all Cameron-Martin vector fields with respect to the pinned Wiener measure on loop spaces over a compact
Riemannian manifold. We then prove that the Driver flow is a smooth transform on path spaces in the sense of the Malliavin calculus and has an \infty-quasi-continuous modification which can be quasi-surely well defined on path spaces. This leads us to construct the Driver flow on loop spaces through the corresponding flow on path spaces. Combining these two results with the Cruzeiro lemma
[J. Funct. Anal. 54 (1983) 206-227] we give an alternative proof of the quasi-invariance of the pinned Wiener measure under Driver's flow on loop spaces which was established earlier by Driver [Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.
342 (1994) 375-394] and Enchev and Stroock [Adv. Math. 119 (1996) 127-154] by Doob's h-processes approach together with the short time estimates of the gradient and the Hessian of the logarithmic heat kernel on compact
Riemannian manifolds. We also establish the L^p-convergence (p\geq 1) and a Fernique-type exponential integrability theorem for the stochastic anti-development of pinned Brownian motions on compact Riemannian manifold with an explicit exponential exponent. Our results generalize and sharpen some earlier results due to Gross [J. Funct. Anal. 102 (1991) 268-313] and Hsu [Math. Ann. 309
(1997) 331-339]. Our method does not need any heat kernel estimate and is based on quasi-sure analysis and Sobolev estimates on path spaces.
In this paper, we will give a new perspective to the Cameron-Martin-Maruyama-Girsanov formula by giving a totally algebraic proof to it. It is based on the exponentiation of the Malliavin-type differentiation and its adjointness.
We present a Cameron--Martin type quasi-invariance theorem for subordinate Brownian motion. As applications, we establish an integration by parts formula and construct a gradient operator on the path space of subordinate Brownian motion, and we obtain some canonical Dirichlet forms. These findings extend the corresponding classical results for Brownian motion.
It is a well-known fact that finite rho-variation of the covariance (in 2D sense) of a general Gaussian process implies finite rho-variation of Cameron-Martin paths. In the special case of fractional Brownian motion (think: 2H=1/rho), in the rougher than Brownian regime, a sharper result holds thanks to a Besov-type embedding [Friz-Victoir, JFA, 2006]. In the present note we give a general result which closes this gap. We comment on the importance of this result for various applications.
We show a Cameron-Martin theorem for Slepian processes $W_t:=\frac{1}{\sqrt{p}}(B_t-B_{t-p}), t\in [p,1]$, where $p\geq \frac{1}{2}$ and $B_s$ is Brownian motion. More exactly, we determine the class of functions $F$ for which a density of $F(t)+W_t$ with respect to $W_t$ exists. Moreover, we prove an explicit formula for this density. p-Slepian processes are closely related to Slepian processes. p-Slepian processes play a prominent role among others in scan statistics and in testing for parameter constancy when data are taken from a moving window.
Quasi-invariance under translation is established for the $ σ$-finite measure unifying Brownian penalisations, which has been introduced by Najnudel, Roynette and Yor. For this purpose, the theory of Wiener integrals for centered Bessel processes, due to Funaki, Hariya and Yor, plays a key role.
Given a sequence of Cauchy-distributed random variables defined by a sequence of location parameters and a sequence of scale parameters, we consider another sequence of random variables that is obtained by perturbing the location or scale parameter sequences. Using a result of Kakutani on equivalence of infinite product measures, we provide sufficient conditions for the equivalence of laws of the two sequences.
By using a simple observation that the density processes appearing in Ito's martingale representation theorem are invariant under the change of measures, we establish a non-linear version of the Cameron-Martin formula for solutions of a class of systems of quasi-linear parabolic equations with non-linear terms of quadratic growth. We also construct a local stochastic flow and establish a Bismut type formula for such system of quasi-linear PDEs. Gradient estimates are obtained in terms of the probability representation of the solution. Another interesting aspect indicated in the paper is the co…
We will demonstrate that if M is an uncountable compact metric space, then there is an action of the Polish group of all continuous functions from M to U(1) on a separable probability algebra which preserves the measure and yet does not admit a point realization in the sense of Mackey. This is achieved by exhibiting a strong form of ergodicity of the Boolean action known as whirliness. This is in contrast with Mackey's point realization theorem, which asserts that any measure preserving Boolean action of a locally compact second countable group on a separable probability algebra can be realize…
We study Malliavin differentiability of solutions to sub-critical singular parabolic stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) and we prove the existence of densities for a class of singular SPDEs. Both of these results are implemented in the setting of regularity structures. For this we construct renormalized models in situations where some of the driving noises are replaced by deterministic Cameron-Martin functions, and we show Lipschitz continuity of these models with respect to the Cameron-Martin norm. In particular, in many interesting situations we obtain a convergence and stabil…
In this paper we propose a lift of vector field $X$ on a Riemannian manifold $M$ to a vector field $\tilde{X}$ on the curved Cameron-Martin space $H\left(M\right)$ named orthogonal lift. The construction of this lift is based on a least square spirit with respect to a metric on $H(M)$ reflecting the damping effect of Ricci curvature. Its stochastic extension gives rise to a non-adapted Cameron-Martin vector field on $W_o(M)$. In particular, if $M=\mathbb{R}^d$ with Euclidean metric, then the damp disappears and the lift reduces to the well-known Malliavin's lift. We establish an integration by…
Suppose that T is a map of the Wiener space into itself, of the following type: T=I+u where u takes its values in the Cameron-Martin space H. Assume also that u is a finite sum of H-valued multiple Ito-Wiener integrals. In this work we prove that if T preserves the Wiener measure, then necessarily u is in the first Wiener chaos and the transformation corresponding to it is a rotation in the sense of [9]. Afterwards the ergodicity and mixing of such transformations, which are second quantizations of the unitary operators on the Cameron-Martin space, are characterized. Finally, the ergocity of t…
This work focuses on the Laplace approximation for the rough differential equation (RDE) driven by mixed rough path with as . Firstly, based on geometric rough path lifted from mixed fractional Brownian motion (fBm), the Schilder-type large deviation principle (LDP) for the law of the first level path of the solution to the RDE is given. Due to the particularity of mixed rough path, the main difficulty in carrying out the Laplace approximation is to prove the Hilbert-Schmidt property for the Hessian matrix of the Itô map restricted on the Cameron-Martin space of the mixed fBm. To this end, we …
In this paper we study ergodicity and mixing property of some measure preserving transformations on the Wiener space (W,H,μ) which are generated by some random unitary operators defined on the Cameron-Martin space H.
We introduce a differential structure for the space of weakly geometric p rough paths over a Banach space V for 2<p<3. We begin by considering a certain natural family of smooth rough paths and differentiating in the truncated tensor series. The resulting object has a clear interpretation, even for non-smooth rough paths, which we take to be an element of the tangent space. We can associate it uniquely to an equivalence class of curves, with equivalence defined by our differential structure. Thus, for a functional on rough path space, we can define the derivative in a tangent direction analogo…
Some parts of stochastic analysis on curved spaces are revisted. A concise proof of the quasi-invariance of the Wiener measure on the path spaces over a Riemannian manifold is presented. The shifts are allowed to be in the Cameron-Martin space and random. The second part of the paper presents some remarks on the anticipative integrals on Riemannian manifolds.
We present a unified approach to get explicit formulas for utility maximising strategies in Exponential Levy models. This approach is related to $f$-divergence minimal martingale measures and based on a new concept of preservation of the Levy property by $f$-divergence minimal martingale measures. For common $f$-divergences, i.e. functions which satisfy $f"(x)= ax^ γ,\, a>0, \, γ\in \mathbb R$, we give the conditions for the existence of corresponding $u_f$- maximising strategies, as well as explicit formulas.
We study exponential Levy models with change-point which is a random variable, independent from initial Levy processes. On canonical space with initially enlarged filtration we describe all equivalent martingale measures for change-point model and we give the conditions for the existence of f-divergence minimal equivalent martingale measure. Using the connection between utility maximisation and $f$-divergence minimisation, we obtain a general formula for optimal strategy in change-point case for initially enlarged filtration and also for progressively enlarged filtration in the case of exponen…
Fractional Sobolev spaces, also known as Besov or Slobodetzki spaces, arise in many areas of analysis, stochastic analysis in particular. We prove an embedding into certain q-variation spaces and discuss a few applications. First we show q-variation regularity of Cameron-Martin paths associated to fractional Brownian motion and other Volterra processes. This is useful, for instance, to establish large deviations for enhanced fractional Brownian motion. Second, the q-variation embedding, combined with results of rough path theory, provides a different route to a regularity result for stochastic…
Let E be an unbounded open (or closed) domain in Euclidean space of dimension greater or equal to two. We present conservativeness criteria for (possibly reflected) diffusions with state space E that are associated to fairly general perturbed divergence form operators. Our main tool is a recently extended forward and backward martingale decomposition, which reduces to the well-known Lyons-Zheng decomposition in the symmetric case.
The aim of this paper is investigating of Orlicz spaces with exponential function and correspondence Orlicz norm: we introduce some new equivalent norms, obtain the tail characterization, study the product of functions in Orlicz spaces etc. We consider some applications: estimation of operators in Orlicz spaces and problem of martingales convergence and divergence
