We define a Fourier-Mukai transform for a triple consisting of two holomorphic vector bundles over an elliptic curve and a homomorphism between them. We prove that in some cases the transform preserves the natural stability condition for a triple. We also define a Nahm transform for solutions to natural gauge-theoretic equations on a triple -- vortices -- and explore some of its basic properties. Our approach combines direct methods with dimensional reduction techniques, relating triples over a curve with vector bundles over the product of the curve with the complex projective line.

Twisted Fourier-Mukai transforms for holomorphic symplectic fourfolds

We apply the methods of C{ă}ld{ă}raru to construct a twisted Fourier-Mukai transform between a pair of holomorphic symplectic four-folds. More precisely, we obtain an equivalence between the derived category of coherent sheaves on a certain four-fold and the derived category of twisted sheaves on its `mirror' partner. As corollaries, we show that the two spaces are connected by a one-parameter family of deformations through Lagrangian fibrations, and we extend the original Fourier-Mukai transform to degenerations of abelian surfaces.

Calorons, Nahm's equations on S^1 and bundles over P^1xP^1

The moduli space of solutions to Nahm's equations of rank (k,k+j) on the circle, and hence, of SU(2) calorons of charge (k,j), is shown to be equivalent to the moduli of holomorphic rank 2 bundles on P^1xP^1 trivialized at infinity with c_2=k and equipped with a flag of degree j along P^1x{0}. Nahm transformation for parabolic Higgs bundles on the projective line --- case of non-semisimple residues

We extend our earlier construction of Nahm transformation for parabolic Higgs bundles on the projective line to solutions with not necessarily semisimple residues and show that it determines a holomorphic mapping on corresponding moduli spaces. The construction relies on suitable elementary modifications of the logarithmic Dolbeault complex.

We exhibit a transformation taking special Lagrangian submanifolds of a Calabi-Yau together with local systems to vector bundles over the mirror manifold with connections obeying deformed Hermitian-Yang-Mills equations. Twisted Fourier-Mukai transforms and bundles on non-Kahler elliptic surfaces

In this paper, we study holomorphic rank-2 vector bundles on non-K\" ahler elliptic surfaces. Our main tool for analysing these bundles is of course the spectral cover. However, given the non-Kähler condition, the elliptic surfaces we are considering do not have sections and gerbes naturally arise in this context. The spectral construction presented in this paper is a modification of the Fourier-Mukai transform for elliptic fibrations without a section. After examining some of the properties of this Fourier-Mukai transform, we give a complete classification of vector bundles on these surfaces.

Mukai duality for gerbes with connection

We study gerbes with connection over an etale stack via noncommutative algebras of differential forms on a groupoid presenting the stack. We then describe a dg-category of modules over any such algebra, which we claim represents a dg-enhancement of the derived category of coherent analytic sheaves on the gerbe in question. Non-commutative tori and Fourier-Mukai duality

The classical Fourier-Mukai duality establishes an equivalence of categories between the derived categories of sheaves on dual complex tori. In this article we show that this equivalence extends to an equivalence between two dual objects. Both of these are generalized deformations of the complex tori. In one case, a complex torus is deformed formally in a non-commutative direction specified by a holomorphic Poisson structure. In the other, the dual complex torus is deformed in a B-field direction to a formal gerbe. We show these two deformations are Fourier-Mukai equivalent.

Derived equivalence of holomorphic symplectic manifolds

We use twisted Fourier-Mukai transforms to study the relation between an abelian fibration on a holomorphic symplectic manifold and its dual fibration. Our reasoning leads to an equivalence between the derived category of coherent sheaves on one space and the derived category of twisted sheaves on the other space.

DG-resolutions of NC-smooth thickenings and NC-Fourier-Mukai transforms

We give a construction of NC-smooth thickenings (a notion defined by Kapranov in math/9802041) of a smooth variety equipped with a torsion free connection. Brill-Noether duality for moduli spaces of sheaves on K3 surfaces

Components of the Moduli space of sheaves on a K3 surface are parametrized by a lattice; the (algebraic) Mukai lattice. Isometries of the Mukai lattice often lift to symplectic birational isomorphisms of the collection of components. A holomorphic Casson invariant for Calabi-Yau 3-folds, and bundles on K3 fibrations

We briefly review the formal picture in which a Calabi-Yau $n$-fold is the complex analogue of an oriented real $n$-manifold, and a Fano with a fixed smooth anticanonical divisor is the analogue of a manifold with boundary, motivating a holomorphic Casson invariant counting bundles on a Calabi-Yau 3-fold. Moduli spaces of bundles over non-projective K3 surfaces

We study moduli spaces of sheaves over non-projective K3 surfaces. More precisely, if $v=(r,ξ,a)$ is a Mukai vector on a K3 surface $S$ with $r$ prime to $ξ$ and $ω$ is a "generic" Kähler class on $S$, we show that the moduli space $M$ of $μ_ω-$stable sheaves on $S$ with associated Mukai vector $v$ is an irreducible holomorphic symplectic manifold which is deformation equivalent to a Hilbert scheme of points on a K3 surface. We study Yang-Mills connections on holomorphic bundles over complex Kähler manifolds of arbitrary dimension, in the spirit of Hitchin's and Simpson's study of flat connections. Exploring a new peak in the heterotic landscape

We study the existence of realistic heterotic vacua on a new Abelian surface fibered Calabi-Yau threefold X with Z_8 x Z_8 fundamental group. Our main result is a no-go theorem, which says that (under mild assumptions) there is no stable holomorphic vector bundle on X satisfying the constraints required by global consistency of the heterotic vacuum and phenomenology. To prove the theorem we explore in some detail the Fourier-Mukai transform of vector bundles on Abelian surface fibrations.

A variation formula for the determinant line bundle. Compact subspaces of moduli spaces of stable bundles over class VII surfaces

This article deals with two topics: the first, which has a general character, is a variation formula for the the determinant line bundle in non-Kählerian geometry.
