We give a systematic study on the Hardy spaces of functions with values in the non-commutative $L^p$-spaces associated with a semifinite von Neumann algebra ${\cal}M.$ This is motivated by the works on matrix valued Harmonic Analysis (operator weighted norm inequalities, operator Hilbert transform), and on the other hand, by the recent development on the non-commutative martingale inequalities. Our non-commutative Hardy spaces are defined by the non-commutative Lusin integral function.
We prove certain vector valued inequalities related to Littlewood-Paley theory on Euclidean spaces. They can be used in proving characterization of the Hardy spaces in terms of Littlewood-Paley operators by methods of real analysis.
In this paper, we generalise Hardy's uncertainty principle to vector-valued functions, and hence to operators. The principle for operators can be formulated loosely by saying that the kernel of an operator cannot be localised near the diagonal if the spectrum is also localised.
This paper is devoted to the study of operator-valued Hardy spaces via wavelet method. This approach is parallel to that in noncommutative martingale case. We show that our Hardy spaces defined by wavelet coincide with those introduced by Tao Mei via the usual Lusin and Littlewood-Paley square functions. As a consequence, we give an explicit complete unconditional basis of the Hardy space H1(R) when H1(R) is equipped with an appropriate operator space structure.
In this article, Fefferman-Stein inequalities in $L^p(\mathbb R^d;\ell^q)$ withbounds independent of the dimension $d$ are proved, for all $1 \textless{} p, q \textless{} + \infty.$This result generalizes in a vector-valued setting the famous one by Steinfor the standard Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator. We then extendour result by replacing $\ell^q$ with an arbitrary UMD Banach lattice. Finally,we prove similar dimensionless inequalities in the setting of the Grushinoperators.
We establish a characterization of the Hardy spaces on the homogeneous groups in terms of the Littlewood-Paley functions. The proof is based on vector-valued inequalities shown by applying the Peetre maximal function.
We revisit weighted Hardy-type inequalities employing an elementary ad hoc approach that yields explicit constants. We also discuss the infinite sequence of power weighted Birman-Hardy-Rellich-type inequalities and derive an operator-valued version thereof.
In this paper, by using the atomic decomposition theory of Hardy space and weak Hardy space, we discuss the boundedness of parameterized Littlewood-Paley operator with variable kernel on these spaces.
We prove that a $IR n+1$-valued vector field on IR n is the sum of the traces of two harmonic gradients, one in each component of $IR n+1 \ IR n$ , and of a $IR n$-valued divergence free vector field. We apply this to the description of vanishing potentials in divergence form. The results are stated in terms of Clifford Hardy spaces, the structure of which is important for our study.
In this article, we establish sharp weak endpoint estimates for $p$-adic fractional Hardy operator. In addition, sharp weak bounds for p-adic Hardy operator on p-adic central Morrey space are also obtained.
In this article, we show that multilinear fractional type operators are bounded from product Hardy spaces with variable exponents into Lebesgue spaces with variable exponents via the atomic decomposition theory. We also study continuity properties of commutators of multilinear fractional type operators on product of certain Hardy spaces with variable exponents.
In this paper, the authors prove the boundedness of commutators generated by the weighted Hardy operator on weighted $λ$-central Morrey space with the weight $ω$ satisfying the doubling condition. Moreover, the authors give the characterization for the weighted $λ$-central Campanato space by introducing a new kind of operator which is related to the commutator of weighted Hardy operator.
A general class of weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operators that acts on the product of Lebesgue spaces and central Morrey spaces. Their sharp bounds are also obtained. In addition, we obtain sufficient and necessary conditions on weight functions so that the commutators of these weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operators (with symbols in central BMO space) are bounded on the product of central Morrey spaces. These results extends known results on multilinear Hardy operators.
In this paper, we first introduce $L^{σ_1}$-$(\log L)^{σ_2}$ conditions satisfied by the variable kernels $Ω(x,z)$ for $0\leqσ_1\leq1$ and $σ_2\geq0$. Under these new smoothness conditions, we will prove the boundedness properties of singular integral operators $T_Ω$, fractional integrals $T_{Ω,α}$ and parametric Marcinkiewicz integrals $μ^ρ_Ω$ with variable kernels on the Hardy spaces $H^p(\mathbb R^n)$ and weak Hardy spaces $WH^p(\mathbb R^n)$. Moreover, by using the interpolation arguments, we can get some corresponding results for the above integral operators with variable kernels on Hardy…
The present article focuses on the bounds of weighted multilinear $p$-adic Hardy operators on the product of Herz spaces and Morrey-Herz spaces. The corresponding norm on both the cases are also obtain.
We prove the continuity of the map $f \mapsto \widetilde{M}f$ from $BV(\mathbb{R})$ to itself, where $\widetilde{M}$ is the uncentered Hardy--Littlewood maximal operator. This answers a question of Carneiro, Madrid and Pierce.
We study the boundedness of certain fractional integral operators from Hp(.) into Lq(.). We also obtain the Hp(.)- Hq(.) boundedness of the Riesz potential.
We study the domination of the lattice Hardy--Littlewood maximal operator by sparse operators in the setting of general Banach lattices. We prove that the admissible exponents of the dominating sparse operator are determined by the $q$-convexity of the Banach lattice.
We give new proofs of Hardy space estimates for fractional and singular integral operators on weighted and variable exponent Hardy spaces. Our proofs consist of several interlocking ideas: finite atomic decompositions in terms of $L^\infty$ atoms, vector-valued inequalities for maximal and other operators, and Rubio de Francia extrapolation. Many of these estimates are not new, but we give new and substantially simpler proofs, which in turn significantly simplifies the proofs of the Hardy spaces inequalities.
We prove the continuity of the map $f \mapsto (Mf)'$ from $W^{1,1}(\mathbb{R})$ to $L^1(\mathbb{R})$, where $M$ is the centered Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator. This solves a question posed by Carneiro, Madrid and Pierce.
We give a straighforward proof of the two weight estimates of the generalized maximal operator under Sawyer type testing conditions. The proof relies on the Martingale Carleson Embedding Theorem.
It is well known that if Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is bounded in space $L^{p(\cdot)}[0;1]$ then $1/p(\cdot)\in BMO^{1/\log}$. On the other hand if $p(\cdot)\in BMO^{1/\log},$ ($1<p_{-}\leq p_{+}<\infty$), then there exists $c>0$ such that Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is bounded in $L^{p(\cdot)+c}[0;1].$ Also There exists exponent $p(\cdot)\in BMO^{1/\log},$ ($1<p_{-}\leq p_{+}<\infty$) such that Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is not bounded in $L^{p(\cdot)}[0;1]$. In the present paper we construct exponent $p(\cdot),$ $(1<p_{-}\leq p_{+}<\infty)$, $1/p(\cdot)\in BLO^{1/\log}$ s…
We characterize the sufficient conditions which three weight functions $u$ and $v_{1}, v_{2}$ satisfy ensure the boundedness of the Hardy operator with variable limits on product space. The corresponding bound is explicitly worked out. Moreover, as application, we can obtain an explicit scale of bound for the Pólya-Knopp type operator with certain weights.
In this paper, We study dimension-free $L^p$ estimates for UMD lattice-valued $q$-variations of Hardy-Littlewood averaging operators associated with the Euclidean balls.
In this paper, we study an extension problem for the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator $L=-Δ+2x\cdot\nabla +n$ and we obtain various characterisations of the solution of the same. We use a particular solution of that extension problem to prove a trace Hardy inequality for $L$ from which Hardy's inequality for fractional powers of $L$ is obtained. We also prove an isometry property of the solution operator associated to the extension problem. Moreover, new $L^p-L^q$ estimates are obtained for the fractional powers of the Hermite operator.
Let $1<p<\infty$. We prove that there exists an $\varepsilon_p>0$ such that for each $f\in L^p(\mathbb{R})$, the centered Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator $M$ on $\mathbb{R}$ satisfies the lower bound $\|Mf\|_{L^p(\mathbb{R})}\ge (1+\varepsilon_p)\|f\|_{L^p(\mathbb{R})}$.
In this paper a two weight criterion for multidimensional geometric mean operator in variable exponent Lebesgue space is proved. Also, we found a criterion on weight functions expressing one-dimensional Hardy inequality via a certain nonlinear differential equation. In particular, considered nonlinear differential equation is nonlinear integro-differential equation.
In this paper, we prove the boundedness of matrix Hausdorff operators and rough Hausdorff operators in the two weighted Herz-type Hardy spaces associated with both power weights and Muckenhoupt weights. By applying the fact that the standard infinite atomic decomposition norm on two weighted Herz-type Hardy spaces is equivalent to the finite atomic norm on some dense subspaces of them, we generalize some previous known results due to Chen et al. [7] and Ruan, Fan [34].
In this paper, by using the decomposition theorem for weak Hardy spaces, we will obtain the boundedness properties of some integral operators with variable kernels on these spaces, under some Dini type conditions imposed on the variable kernel $Ω(x,z)$.
For $1<p<\infty$ and $M$ the centered Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator on $\mathbb{R}$, we consider whether there is some $\varepsilon=\varepsilon(p)>0$ such that $\|Mf\|_p\ge (1+\varepsilon)||f||_p$. We prove this for $1<p<2$. For $2\le p<\infty$, we prove the inequality for indicator functions and for unimodal functions.
We characterize, in the context of rearrangement invariant spaces, the optimal range space for a class of monotone operators related to the Hardy operator. The connection between optimal range and optimal domain for these operators is carefully analyzed.
We prove that the invariant subspaces of the Hardy operator on $L^2[0,1]$ are the spaces that are limits of sequences of finite dimensional spaces spanned by monomial functions.
In this paper we prove that the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is bounded on Morrey spaces $\mathcal{M}_{1,λ}(\rn)$, $0 \le \la < n$ for radial, decreasing functions on $\rn$
In this paper we study the vector-valued analogues of several inequalities for the Fourier transform. In particular, we consider the inequalities of Hausdorff--Young, Hardy--Littlewood, Paley, Pitt, Bochkarev and Zygmund. The Pitt inequalities include the Hausdorff--Young and Hardy--Littlewood inequalities and state that the Fourier transform is bounded from $L^p(\mathbb{R}^d,|\cdot|^{βp})$ into $L^q(\mathbb{R}^d,|\cdot|^{-γq})$ under certain condition on $p,q,β$ and $γ$. Vector-valued analogues are derived under geometric conditions on the underlying Banach space such as Fourier type and rela…
We study different geometric properties on infinite graphs, related to the weak-type boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal averaging operator. In particular, we analyze the connections between the doubling condition, having finite dilation and overlapping indices, uniformly bounded degree, the equidistant comparison property and the weak-type boundedness of the centered Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator. Several non-trivial examples of infinite graphs are given to illustrate the differences among these properties.
We study the optimal domain for the Hardy operator considered with values in a rearrangement invariant space. In particular, this domain can be represented as the space of integrable functions with respect to a vector measure defined on a $δ$-ring. A precise description is given for the case of the minimal Lorentz spaces.
This paper can be considered as the sequel of [6], where the authors have proposed an abstract construction of Hardy spaces H^1. They shew an interpolation result for these Hardy spaces with the Lebesgue spaces. Here we describe a more precise result using the real interpolation theory and we clarify the use of Hardy spaces. Then with the help of the bilinear interpolation theory, we then give applications to study bilinear operators on Lebesgue spaces. These ideas permit us to study singular operators with singularities similar to those of bilinear Calderon-Zygmund operators in a far more abs…
We give necessary and sufficient conditions for inhomogeneous Calderón-Zgymund operators to be bounded on the local hardy spaces $h^p(\mathbb{R}^n)$. We then give applications to local and truncated Riesz transforms, as well as pseudo-differential operators defined by amplitudes.
We characterize those non-negative, measurable functions $ψ$ on $[0,1]$ and positive, continuous functions $ω_1$ and $ω_2$ on $\mathbb R^+$ for which the generalized Hardy-Cesàro operator $$(U_ψf)(x)=\int_0^1 f(tx)ψ(t)\,dt$$ defines a bounded operator $U_ψ:L^1(ω_1)\to L^1(ω_2)$. Furthermore, we extend $U_ψ$ to a bounded operator on $M(ω_1)$ with range in $L^1(ω_2)\oplus\mathbb Cδ_0$. Finally, we show that the zero operator is the only weakly compact generalized Hardy-Cesàro operator from $L^1(ω_1)$ to $L^1(ω_2)$.
We give a constructive proof of the factorization theorem for the classical Hardy space in terms of fractional integral operator. Moreover, the result is extended to the multilinear case and weighted case. As an application, we obtain the characterization of $BMO$ via the weighted boundedness of commutators of the multilinear fractional integral operator, without individual conditions on the weights class.
In this paper we introduce variable exponent local Hardy spaces associated with a non-negative self-adjoint operator L. We define them by using an area square integral involving the heat semigroup associated to L. A molecular characterization is established and as an aplication of the molecular characterization we prove that our local Hardy space coincides with the (global) variable exponent Hardy space associated to L, provided that 0 does not belong to the spectrum of L. Also, we show that it coincides with the global variable exponent Hardy space associated to L+I.
Let $H$ be the Hardy operator and $I$ the identity operator acting on functions on the real half-line. We find optimal bounds for the operator $H - I$ in the setting of power weights and the cases of positive decreasing functions, positive functions, and general functions. As a byproduct, we obtain some results about the optimal relations between the norms of $H$ and its dual.
