A numeric function $ρ$: $ρ(k)=1+\frac{k-1}{k+1}, k \in N$ was considered in [1]. In its terms criterions of finite representability and tameness of marked quivers, posets with equivalence and dyadic posets can be obtained; Dynkin schemes and extended schemes also can be characterized.
In this paper authors consider the connection of function $ρ$ with locally-scalar representations [2] of extended Dynkin graphs. Then a family of functions $ρ_n$ is defined -- a generalization of function $ρ$, which plays an analogous part for more wide class of graphs. Also some properties of functions $ρ$ and $ρ_k$ are proved.

We study indecomposable representations of quivers on separable infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces by bounded operators. We consider a complement of Gabriel's theorem for these representations. Let $Γ$ be a finite, connected quiver. If its underlying undirected graph contains one of extended Dynkin diagrams $\tilde{A_n} (n \geq 0)$, $\tilde{D_n} (n \geq 4)$, $\tilde{E_6}$,$\tilde{E_7}$ and $\tilde{E_8}$, then there exists an indecomposable representation of $Γ$ on separable infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces.
As it is known, finitely presented quivers correspond to Dynkin graphs (Gabriel, 1972) and tame quivers -- to extended Dynkin graphs (Donovan and Freislich, Nazarova, 1973). In the article "Locally scalar reresentations of graphs in the category of Hilbers spaces" (Func. Anal. and Appl., 2005) authors showed the way to tranfer these results to Hilbert spaces, constructed Coxeter functors and proved an analogue of Gabriel theorem fol locally scalar (orthoscalar in the sequel) representations (up to the unitary equivalence). The category of orthoscalar representations of a quiver can be consider…
For a finite subgroup $Γ\subset \mathrm{SL}(2,\mathbb{C})$ and $n\geq 1$, we construct the (reduced scheme underlying the) Hilbert scheme of $n$ points on the Kleinian singularity $\mathbb{C}^2/Γ$ as a Nakajima quiver variety for the framed McKay quiver of $Γ$, taken at a specific non-generic stability parameter. We deduce that this Hilbert scheme is irreducible (a result previously due to Zheng), normal, and admits a unique symplectic resolution. More generally, we introduce a class of algebras obtained from the preprojective algebra of the framed McKay quiver by a process called cornering, a…
We consider matrix problems in Hilbert spaces (orthoscalar representations of quivers and posets). A criterion of tameness of the problem of classification of indecomposable orthoscalar representations of a quiver is given.
It is a well established fact, that any projective algebraic variety is a moduli space of representations over some finite dimensional algebra. This algebra can be chosen in several ways. The counterpart in algebraic geometry is tautological: every variety is its own Hilber scheme of sheaves of length one. This holds even scheme theoretic. We use Beilinson's equivalence to get similar results for finite dimensional algebras, including moduli spaces and quiver grassmannians. Moreover, we show that several already known results can be traced back to the Hilbert scheme construction and Beilinson'…
In this paper, we show that every regular singular $\mathscr{D}$-module in $\mathbb{C}^n$ whose singular locus is a normal crossing is isomorphic to a quiver $\mathscr{D}$-module - a $\mathscr{D}$-module whose definition is based on certain representations of the hypercube quiver. To be more precise we give an equivalence of the respective categories. Our definition of quiver $\mathscr{D}$-modules is based on the one of Khoroshkin and Varchenko. To prove the equivalence, we use an equivalence by Galligo, Granger and Maisonobe for regular singular $\mathscr{D}$-modules whose singular locus is a…
In this paper we study the combinatorial consequences of the relationship between rational Cherednik algebras of type $G(l,1,n)$, cyclic quiver varieties and Hilbert schemes. We classify and explicitly construct $\mathbb{C}^*$-fixed points in cyclic quiver varieties and calculate the corresponding characters of tautological bundles. Furthermore, we give a combinatorial description of the bijections between $\mathbb{C}^*$-fixed points induced by the Etingof-Ginzburg isomorphism and Nakajima reflection functors. We apply our results to obtain a new proof as well as a generalization of the $q$-ho…
We prove that certain quiver varieties are irreducible and therefore are isomorphic to Hilbert schemes of points of the total spaces of the bundles $\mathcal O_{\mathbb P^1}(-n)$ for $n \ge 1$.
One can regard the category of represenations of quivers in Hilbert spaces as a subcategory in the category of all representations, and at that objects, which are indecomposable in the subcategory, become in general decomposable in the ``larger'' category. We prove that it does not happen with indecomposable locally scalar representations of a quiver.
For a class of K3 surfaces, the action of a Lie algebra which is a certain affinization of a Kac-Moody algebra is given on the cohomology of the moduli spaces of rank 1 torsion free sheaves on the surface. This action is generated by correspondences between moduli spaces of Bridgeland stable objects on the surface, and is equivalent to an action defined using Fourier coefficients of vertex operators. Two other results are included: a more general result giving geometric finite dimensional Lie algebra actions on moduli spaces of Bridgeland stable objects on K3 surfaces subject to natural condit…
This article is based on my lecture notes from summer schools at the Universities of Utah (June 2007) and Warwick (September 2007). We provide an introduction to explicit methods in the study of moduli spaces of quiver representations and derived categories arising in toric geometry. The first main goal is to present the noncommutative geometric approach to semiprojective toric varieties via quivers. To achieve this, we use geometric invariant theory to construct both semiprojective toric varieties and moduli spaces of quiver representations. The second main goal builds on the first by present…
The goal of this paper is to prove that if Q is a connected non-Dynkin quiver then the preprojective algebra of Q over any field k is Koszul, and has Hilbert series 1/(1-Ct+t^2), where C is the adjacency matrix of the double of Q. (This result, in somewhat less general formulations, was previously obtained by Martinez-Villa and Malkin-Ostrik-Vybornov). We also prove a similar result for the partial preprojective algebra of any connected quiver Q, associated to a subset J of the set I of vertices of Q (by definition, this is the quotient of the path algebra of the double by the preprojective al…
We study quantum geometry of Nakajima quiver varieties of two different types - framed A-type quivers and ADHM quivers. While these spaces look completely different we find a surprising connection between equivariant K-theories thereof with a nontrivial match between their equivariant parameters. In particular, we demonstrate that quantum equivariant K-theory of $A_n$ quiver varieties in a certain $n\to\infty$ limit reproduces equivariant K-theory of the Hilbert scheme of points on $\mathbb{C}^2$. We analyze the correspondence from the point of view of enumerative geometry, representation theo…
The fixed points of a natural torus action on the Hilbert schemes of points in C^2 are quiver varieties of infinite type A. The equivariant cohomology of the Hilbert schemes and quiver varieties can be given the structure of bosonic and fermionic Fock spaces respectively. Then the localization theorem, which relates the equivariant cohomology of a space with that of its fixed point set, yields a geometric realization of the important boson-fermion correspondence.
We sharpen the construction of representation space in the paper "Principal Series Representations of Infinite Dimensional Lie Groups II: Construction of Induced Representations". We show that the principal series representation spaces constructed there, are completions of spaces of sections of Hilbert bundles rather than completions of quotient spaces of sections.
Given a quiver, we consider its cohomological Hall algebra (CoHA) as well as CoHA modules built of cohomology groups of non-commutative Hilbert schemes. We investigate cell decompositions of non-commutative Hilbert schemes and the corresponding (non-canonical) bases of CoHA modules. We construct canonical bases of CoHA modules, which consist of products of Chern classes of tautological vector bundles over non-commutative Hilbert schemes. This result generalizes classical results for Grassmannians and (partial) flag varieties.
For a finite subgroup $Γ\subset {\mathrm{SL}}(2,\mathbb{C})$, we identify fine moduli spaces of certain cornered quiver algebras, defined in earlier work, with orbifold Quot schemes for the Kleinian orbifold $[\mathbb{C}^2/Γ]$. We also describe the reduced schemes underlying these Quot schemes as Nakajima quiver varieties for the framed McKay quiver of $Γ$, taken at specific non-generic stability parameters. These schemes are therefore irreducible, normal and admit symplectic resolutions. Our results generalise our previous work on the Hilbert scheme of points on $\mathbb{C}^2/Γ$; we present a…
This paper is based on a talk at the conference `The McKay correspondence, mutation and related topics' from July 2020. We provide an introduction to joint work of the author with Søren Gammelgaard, Ádám Gyenge and Balázs Szendrői that constructs the reduced scheme underlying the Hilbert scheme of $n$ points on an ADE singularity as a Nakajima quiver variety for a particular stability parameter. After drawing a parallel with two well-known constructions of the Hilbert scheme of $n$ points in $\mathbb{A}^2$, we summarise results of the author and Gwyn Bellamy before describing the main result b…
We study wall-crossing phenomena in the McKay correspondence. Craw-Ishii show that every projective crepant resolution of a Gorenstein abelian quotient singularity arises as a moduli space of $θ$-stable representations of the McKay quiver. The stability condition $θ$ moves in a vector space with a chamber decomposition in which (some) wall-crossings capture flops between different crepant resolutions. We investigate where chambers for certain resolutions with Hilbert scheme-like moduli interpretations - iterated Hilbert schemes, or 'Hilb of Hilb' - sit relative to the principal chamber definin…
Let $E$ be the bundle defined by applying a polynomial representation of $GL_n$ to the tautological bundle on the Hilbert scheme of $n$ points in the complex plane. By a result of Haiman, the Cech cohomology groups $H^i(E)$ vanish for all $i>0$. It follows that the equivariant Euler characteristic with respect to the standard two-dimensional torus action has nonnegative coefficients in the torus variables $z_1,z_2$, because they count the dimensions of the weight spaces of $H^0(E)$. We derive a very explicit asymmetric formula for this Euler characteristic which has this property, by expanding…
