We study the irreducible representations of quantum solvable algebras at roots of 1 which lie over a point of the variety of center. We characterize the quiver of fiber algebra and present the formulas on the dimension and the number of these representations in terms of Poisson structure of the variety of center.
There studed correspondence between symplectic leaves, irreducible representations and prime ideals, which is invariant with respect to quantum adjoint action. The Conjecture of De Concini-Kac-Procesi on dimensions of irreducible representations is proved for sufficiently great $l$.
The quantum group SL_q(2,R) at roots of unity is introduced by means of duality pairings with the quantum algebra U_q(sl(2,R)). Its irreducible representations are constructed through the universal T-matrix. An invariant integral on this quantum group is given. Endowed with that some properties like unitarity and orthogonality of the irreducible representations are discussed.
We parameterize the finite-dimensional irreducible representations of a class of pointed Hopf algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero by dominant characters. The Hopf algebras we are considering arise in the work of N. Andruskiewitsch and the second author. Special cases are the multiparameter deformations of the enveloping algebras of semisimple Lie algebras where the deforming parameters are not roots of unity and some of their finite-dimensional versions in the root of unity case.
Specializing properly the parameters contained in the maximal cyclic representation of the non-restricted A-type quantum algebra at roots of unity, we find the unique primitive vector in it. We show that the submodule generated by the primitive vector can be identified with an irreducble highest weight module of the finite dimensional A-type quantum algebra which is defined as the subalgebra of the restricted quantum algebra at roots of unity.
Under the assumption that the quantum parameter $q$ is an $l$-th primitive root of unity with $l$ odd in a field $F$ of characteristic 0 and $m+n\geq r$, we obtained a complete classification of irreducible modules of the $q$-Schur superalgebra introduced H. Rui and the first Author.
We consider the quantum algebra $U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ with $q$ not a root of unity. We describe the finite-dimensional irreducible $U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$-modules from the point of view of the equitable presentation.
Let $\mathbb F$ denote an algebraically closed field and assume that $q\in \mathbb F$ is a primitive $d^{\rm \, th}$ root of unity with $d\not=1,2,4$. The universal Askey--Wilson algebra $\triangle_q$ is a unital associative $\mathbb F$-algebra defined by generators and relations. The generators are $A,B,C$ and the relations assert that each of \begin{gather*} A+\frac{qBC-q^{-1}CB}{q^2-q^{-2}}, \qquad B+\frac{qCA-q^{-1}AC}{q^2-q^{-2}}, \qquad C+\frac{qAB-q^{-1}BA}{q^2-q^{-2}} \qquad \end{gather*} commutes with $A,B,C$. We show that every finite-dimensional irreducible $\triangle_q$-module is o…
The automorphism group of the vertex operator algebra $V_L^+$ is studied by using its action on isomorphism classes of irreducible $V_L^+$-modules. In particular, the shape of the automorphism group of $V_L^+$ is determined when $L$ is isomorphic to an even unimodular lattice without roots, $\sqrt2R$ for an irreducible root lattice $R$ of type $ADE$ and the Barnes-Wall lattice of rank 16.
We review and motivate recently-observed relationships between exactly solvable lattice models and modular representations of Hecke algebras. Firstly, we describe how the set of $n$-regular partitions label both of the following classes of objects: 1. The spectrum of unrestricted solid-on-solid lattice models based on level-1 representations of the affine algebras $\sl_n$, 2. The irreducible representations of type-A Hecke algebras at roots of unity: $H_m(\sqrt[n]{1})$. Secondly, we show that a certain subset of the $n$-regular partitions label both of the following classes of objects: 1. The …
We give the complete set of irreducible representations of U(SU(2))_q when q is a m-th root of unity. In particular we show that their dimensions are less or equal to m. Some of them are not highest weight representations.
Irreducible representations of quantum groups $SL_q(2)$ (in Woronowicz' approach) were classified in J.Wang, B.Parshall, Memoirs AMS 439 in the~case of $q$ being an~odd root of unity. Here we find the~irreducible representations for all roots of unity (also of an~even degree), as well as describe "the~diagonal part" of tensor product of any two irreducible representations. An~example of not completely reducible representation is given. Non--existence of Haar functional is proved. The~corresponding representations of universal enveloping algebras of Jimbo and Lusztig are provided. We also recal…
An algebra homomorphism $ψ$ from the nonstandard q-deformed (cyclically symmetric) algebra $U_q(so_3)$ to the extension ${\hat U}_q(sl_2)$ of the Hopf algebra $U_q(sl_2)$ is constructed. Not all irreducible representations of $U_q(sl_2)$ can be extended to representations of ${\hat U}_q(sl_2)$. Composing the homomorphism $ψ$ with irreducible representations of ${\hat U}_q(sl_2)$ we obtain representations of $U_q(so_3)$. Not all of these representations of $U_q(so_3)$ are irreducible. Reducible representations of $U_q(so_3)$ are decomposed into irreducible components. In this way we obtain all …
S. Montgomery and S. Witherspoon proved that upper and lower semisolvable, semisimple, finite dimensional Hopf algebras are of Froebenius type when their dimensions are not divisible by the characteristic of the base field. In this note we show that a finite dimensional, semisimple, lower solvable Hopf algebra is always of Froebenius type, in arbitrary characteristic.
In this paper, we initiate a study into the explicit construction of irreducible representations of the Hecke algebra $H_n(q)$ of type $A_{n-1}$ in the non-generic case where $q$ is a root of unity. The approach is via the Specht modules of $H_n(q)$ which are irreducible in the generic case, and possess a natural basis indexed by Young tableaux. The general framework in which the irreducible non-generic $H_n(q)$-modules are to be constructed is set up and, in particular, the full set of modules corresponding to two-part partitions is described. Plentiful examples are given.
In this paper we analyze the structure of some subalgebras of quantized enveloping algebras corresponding to unipotent and solvable subgroups of a simple Lie group G. These algebras have the non--commutative structure of iterated algebras of twisted polynomials with a derivation, an object which has often appeared in the general theory of non-commutative rings. In particular, we find maximal dimensions of their irreducible representations. Our results confirm the validity of the general philosophy that the representation theory is intimately connected to the Poisson geometry.
We describe properties of the nonstandard q-deformation U'_q(so_n) of the universal enveloping algebra U(so_n) of the Lie algebra so_n which does not coincide with the Drinfeld--Jimbo quantum algebra U_q(so_n). In particular, it is shown that there exists an isomorphism from U'_q(so_n) to U_q(sl_n) and that finite dimensional irreducible representations of U'_q(so_n) separate elements of this algebra. Irreducible representations of the algebras U'_q(so_n) for q a root of unity q^p=1 are given. The main class of these representations act on p^N-dimensional linear space (where N is a number of p…
Using vertex operators, we construct explicitly Lusztig's $\mathbb Z[q, q^{-1}]$-lattice for the level one irreducible representations of quantum affine algebras of ADE type. We then realize the level one irreducible modules at roots of unity and show that the q-dimension is still given by the Weyl-Kac character formula. As a consequence we also answer the corresponding question of realizing the affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras of simply laced type at level one in finite characteristic.
We will classify finite dimensional irreducible modules for affine quantum Schur algebras at roots of unity and generalize \cite[(6.5f) and (6.5g)]{Gr80} to the affine case in this paper.
By properly specializing the parameters irreducible modules of maximal dimension for the De Concini-Kac version of the Drinfeld-Jimbo quantum algebra in type $A$ may be transformed into modules over Lusztig's infinitesimal quantum algeba. Thus obtained modules have a simple socle and a simple head, and share the same dimension as the infinitesimal Verma modules. Despite these common features we find that they are never isomorphic to infinitesimal Verma modules unless they are irreducible. The same carry over to the modular setup for the special linear groups in positive characteristic.
In this paper, we consider the necessary and sufficient conditions for the tensor product of the fundamental representations for the restricted quantum loop algebras of type A at roots of unity to be irreducible.
The purpose of this paper is to prove that we can construct all finite dimensional irreducible nilpotent modules of type 1 inductively by using Schnizer homomorphisms for quantum algebra at roots of unity of type A, B, C, D or G.
We classify finite-dimensional irreducible highest weight modules of generalized quantum groups whose positive part is infinite dimensional and has a Kharchenko's PBW basis with an irreducible finite positive root system.
As a homomorphic image of the hyperalgebra $U_{q,R}(m|n)$ associated with the quantum linear supergroup $U_\upsilon(\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n})$, we first give a presentation for the $q$-Schur superalgebra $S_{q,R}(m|n,r)$ over a commutative ring $R$. We then develop a criterion for polynomial supermodules of $U_{q,F}(m|n)$ over a filed $F$ and use this to determine a classification of polynomial irreducible supermodules at roots of unity. This also gives classifications of irreducible $S_{q,F}(m|n,r)$-supermodules for all $r$. As an application when $m=n\geq r$ and motivated by the beautiful work \c…
Highest weight representations of $U_q(su(1,1))$ with $q=\exp πi/N$ are investigated. The structures of the irreducible hieghesat weight modules are discussed in detail. The Clebsch-Gordan decomposition for the tensor product of two irreducible representations is discussed. By using the results, a representation of $SL(2,R)\otimes U_q(su(2))$ is also presented in terms of holomorphic sections which also have $U_q(su(2))$ index. Furthermore we realise $Z_N$-graded supersymmetry in terms of the representation. An explicit realization of $Osp(1 \vert 2)$ via the heighest weight representation of …
A special family of partitions occurs in two apparently unrelated contexts: the evaluation of 1-dimensional configuration sums of certain RSOS models, and the modular representation theory of symmetric groups or their Hecke algebras $H_m$. We provide an explanation of this coincidence by showing how the irreducible $H_m$-modules which remain irreducible under restriction to $H_{m-1}$ (Jantzen-Seitz modules) can be determined from the decomposition of a tensor product of representations of affine $\sl_n$.
Properly specializing the parameters in ``Schnizer modules'', for type A,B,C and D, we get its unique primitive vector. Then we show that the module generated by the primitive vector is an irreducible highest weight module of finite dimensional classical quantum groups at roots of unity.
Representations of Quantum Groups U_q (g_n), g_n any semi simple Lie algebra of rank n, are constructed from arbitrary representations of rank n-1 quantum groups for q a root of unity. Representations which have the maximal dimension and number of free parameters for irreducible representations arise as special cases.
Representation theory of the quantum torus Hopf algebra, when the parameter $q$ is a root of unity, is studied. We investigate a decomposition map of the tensor product of two irreducibles into the direct sum of irreducibles, realized as a `multiplicity module' tensored with an irreducible representation. The isomorphism between the two possible decompositions of the triple tensor product yields a map ${\bf T}$ between the multiplicity modules, called the 6j-symbols. We study the left and right dual representations, and correspondingly, the left and right representations on the ${\rm Hom}$ spa…
