An $n$ dimensional minimal submanifold $Σ$ of $\R^{n+m}$ is called non-parametric if $Σ$ can be represented as the graph of a vector-valued function $f:D\subset \R^n \mapsto \R^m$. This note provides a sufficient condition for the stability of such $Σ$ in terms of the norm of the differential $df$.

Higher dimensional holonomy map for ruled submanifolds in graded manifolds

The deformability condition for submanifolds of fixed degree immersed in a graded manifold can be expressed as a system of first order PDEs. Hamiltonian stability of Hamiltonian minimal Lagrangian submanifolds in pseudo- and para-Kähler manifolds

Let L be a Lagrangian submanifold of a pseudo- or para-Kähler manifold which is H-minimal, i.e. a critical point of the volume functional restricted to Hamiltonian variations. We derive the second variation of the volume of L with respect to Hamiltonian variations. We apply this formula to several cases. We study the topology of Hamiltonian-minimal Lagrangian submanifolds N in C^m constructed from intersections of real quadrics in a work of the first author. A Note on the Stability and Uniqueness for Solutions to the Minimal Surface System

In this note, we show that the solution to the Dirichlet problem for the minimal surface system in any codimension is unique in the space of distance-decreasing maps. This follows as a corollary of the following stability theorem: if a minimal submanifold $Σ$ is the graph of a (strictly) distance-decreasing map, then $Σ$ is (strictly) stable.
