In this paper an algebraic star product and differential one defined on a regular coadjoint orbit of a compact semisimple group are compared. It is proven that there is an injective algebra homomorphism between the algebra of polynomials with the algebraic star product and the algebra of differential functions with the differential star product structure.

On the deformation quantization of coadjoint orbits of semisimple Lie groups

In this paper we consider the problem of deformation quantization of the algebra of polynomial functions on coadjoint orbits of semisimple lie groups. The deformation of an orbit is realized by taking the quotient of the universal enveloping algebra of the Lie algebra of the given Lie group, by a suitable ideal. A comparison with geometric quantization in the case of SU(2) is done where both methods agree.

Deformation Quantization of Non Regular Orbits of Compact Lie Groups

In this paper we construct a deformation quantization of the algebra of polynomials of an arbitrary (regular and non regular) coadjoint orbit of a compact semisimple Lie group. The deformed algebra is given as a quotient of the enveloping algebra by a suitable ideal.

In this paper we make a review of the results obtained in previous works by the authors on deformation quantization of coadjoint orbits of semisimple Lie groups. We motivate the problem with a new point of view of the well known Moyal-Weyl deformation quantization. We consider only semisimple orbits. Algebraic and differential deformations are compared.

Algebraic and Differential Star Products on Regular Orbits of Compact Lie Groups

In this paper we study a family of algebraic deformations of regular coadjoint orbits of compact semisimple Lie groups with the Kirillov Poisson bracket. The deformations are restrictions of deformations on the dual of the Lie algebra. We prove that there are non isomorphic deformations in the family. The star products are not differential, unlike the star products considered in other approaches. We make a comparison with the differential star product canonically defined by Kontsevich's map.

Twining characters, orbit Lie algebras, and fixed point resolution

We describe the resolution of field identification fixed points in coset conformal field theories in terms of representation spaces of the coset chiral algebra. A necessary ingredient from the representation theory of Kac Moody algebras is the recently developed theory of twining characters and orbit Lie algebras, as applied to automorphisms representing identification currents.

Deformations of symplectic singularities and Orbit method for semisimple Lie algebras

We classify filtered quantizations of conical symplectic singularities and use this to show that all filtered quantizations of symplectic quotient singularities are spherical Symplectic reflection algebras of Etingof and Ginzburg. We further apply our classification and a classification of filtered Poisson deformations obtained by Namikawa to establish a version of the Orbit method for semisimple Lie algebras. Invariant quantization in one and two parameters on semisimple coadjoint orbits of simple Lie groups

We study one and two parameter quantizations of the function algebra on a semisimple orbit in the coadjoint representation of a simple Lie group subject to the condition that the multiplication on the quantized algebra is invariant under action of the Drinfeld-Jimbo quantum group. We prove that the corresponding Poisson bracket must be the sum of the so-called R-matrix bracket and an invariant bracket. Finite dimensional irreducible representations of finite W-algebras associated to even multiplicity nilpotent orbits in classical Lie algebras

We consider finite W-algebras U(g,e) associated to even multiplicity nilpotent elements in classical Lie algebras. We give a classification of finite dimensional irreducible U(g,e)-modules with integral central character in terms of the highest weight theory for finite W-algebras. As a corollary, we obtain a parametrization of primitive ideals of U(g) with associated variety the closure of the adjoint orbit of e and integral central character.

Invariant quantum measure on $q$-deformed twisted adjoint orbits

Let $U$ be a compact semisimple Lie group with complexification $G$ and associated Cartan involution $Θ$. Let $ν$ be an involutive complex Lie group automorphism of $G$ commuting with $Θ$, and consider the associated semisimple real Lie group $G_ν = \{g\in G\mid ν(g) = Θ(g)\}$. We consider $q$-deformed analogues of the $U$-orbits of the quotient space $G_ν\backslash G$, and determine for these the associated von Neumann algebra and invariant state.
