In this work, we recall that every filiform Lie superalgebra is a deformation of the superalgebra $L_{n,m}$. We study the even cocycles which give this nilpotent deformations. A family of independent bilinear maps will help us to describe this cocycles. At the end an evaluation of the dimension of the space $Z_0^2(L_{n,m},L_{n,m})$ is established.
Suppose the ground field $\mathbb{F}$ is an algebraically closed field of characteristic different from 2, 3. We determine the Betti numbers and make a decomposition of the associative superalgebra of the cohomology for the model filiform Lie superalgebra. We also describe the associative superalgebra structures of the (divided power) cohomology for some low-dimensional filiform Lie superalgebras.
In this work the classification of filiform Leibniz superalgebras of nilindex $n+m,$ where $n$ and $m$ ($m \ne 0$) are dimensions of even and odd parts, respectively, is obtained.
In this paper, we find a family $SL^{n,m}$, in any arbitrary dimensions, of cohomologically rigid solvable Lie superalgebras with nilradical the model filiform Lie superalgebra $L^{n,m}$. Moreover, we exhibit a family of cohomologically rigid solvable Lie superalgebras with nilradical the model nilpotent Lie superalgebra of generic characteristic sequence. Both cases correspond to solvable Lie superalgebras of maximal dimension for a given nilradical. Contrariwise, we will show that the family of Lie superalgebras $SL^{n,m}$ can be deformed if defined over a field of odd characteristic.
In this paper we describe the infinitesimal deformations of null-filiform Leibniz superalgebras over a field of zero characteristic. It is known that up to isomorphism in each dimension there exist two such superalgebras $NF^{n,m}$. One of them is a Leibniz algebra (that is $m=0$) and the second one is a pure Leibniz superalgebra (that is $m\neq 0$) of maximum nilindex. We show that the closure of union of orbits of single-generated Leibniz algebras forms an irreducible component of the variety of Leibniz algebras. We prove that any single-generated Leibniz algebra is a linear integrable defor…
We exhibit an example of a filiform (complex) Lie algebra of dimension 13 with all its ideals of codimension 1 being characteristically nilpotent, and we construct a non trivial filiform deformation of it.
Along this paper we show that under certain conditions the method for describing of solvable Lie and Leibniz algebras with maximal codimension of nilradical is also extensible to Lie and Leibniz superalgebras, respectively. In particular, we totally determine the solvable Lie and Leibniz superalgebras with maximal codimension of model filiform and model nilpotent nilradicals. Finally, it is established that the superderivations of the obtained superalgebras are inner.
Let $L$ be a Lie superalgebra over a field of characteristic different from $2,3$ and write $\mathrm{ID}^{*}(L)$ for the Lie superalgebra consisting of superderivations mapping $L$ to $L^{2}$ and the central elements to zero. In this paper we first give an upper bound for the superdimension of $\mathrm{ID}^{*}(L)$ by means of linear vector space decompositions. Then we characterize the $\mathrm{ID}^{*}$-superderivation superalgebras for the nilpotent Lie superalgebras of class 2 and the model filiform Lie superalgebras by methods of block matrices.
Suppose that the underlying field is of characteristic different from $2, 3$. In this paper we first prove that the so-called stem deformations of a free presentations of a finite-dimensional Lie superalgebra $L$ exhaust all the maximal stem extensions of $L$, up to equivalence of extensions. Then we prove that multipliers and covers always exist for a Lie superalgebra and they are unique up to Lie superalgebra isomorphisms. Finally, we describe the multipliers, covers and maximal stem extensions of Heisenberg superalgebras of odd centers and model filiform Lie superalgebras.
We describe infinitesimal deformations of complex naturally graded filiform Leibniz algebras. It is known that any $n$-dimensional filiform Lie algebra can be obtained by a linear integrable deformation of the naturally graded algebra $F_n^3(0)$. We establish that in the same way any $n$-dimensional filiform Leibniz algebra can be obtained by an infinitesimal deformation of the filiform Leibniz algebras $F_{n}^1,$ $F_{n}^2$ and $F_{n}^3(α)$. Moreover, we describe the linear integrable deformations of above-mentioned algebras with a fixed basis of $HL^2$ in the set of all $n$-dimensional Leibni…
We prove that there are no rigid complex filiform Lie algebras in the variety of (filiform) Lie algebras of dimension less than or equal to 11. More precisely we show that in any Euclidean neighborhood of a filiform Lie bracket (of low dimension), there is a non-isomorphic filiform Lie bracket. This follows by constructing non trivial linear deformations in a Zariski open dense set of the variety of filiform Lie algebras of dimension 9, 10 and 11. (In lower dimensions this is well known.)
Suppose the ground field $\mathbb{F}$ is an algebraically closed field characteristic of $p>2$. In this paper, we investigate the restricted cohomology theory of restricted Lie superalgebras. Algebraic interpretations of low dimensional restricted cohomology of restricted Lie superalgebra are given. We show that there is a family of restricted model filiform Lie superalgebra $L_{p,p}^λ$ structures parameterized by elements $λ\in \mathbb{F}^{p}.$ We explicitly describe both the $1$-dimensional ordinary and restricted cohomology superspaces of $L_{p,p}^λ$ with coefficients in the $1$-dimensional…
Denote m_0 the infinite dimensional N-graded Lie algebra defined by basis e_i, i>= 1 and relations [e_1,e_i] = e_(i+1) for all i>=2. We compute in this article the bracket structure on H1(m_0,m_0), H2(m_0,m_0) and in relation to this, we establish that there are only finitely many true deformations of m_0 in each nonpositive weight, by constructing them explicitely. It turns out that in weight 0 one gets exactly the other two filiform Lie algebras.
Denote $\fm_2$ the infinite dimensional $\N$-graded Lie algebra defined by the basis $e_i$ for $i\geq 1$ and by relations $[e_1,e_i]=e_{i+1}$ for all $i\geq 2$, $[e_2,e_j]=e_{j+2}$ for all $j\geq 3$. We compute in this article the bracket structure on $H^1(\fm_2,\fm_2)$, $H^2(\fm_2,\fm_2)$ and in relation to this, we establish that there are only finitely many true deformations of $\fm_2$ in each weight by constructing them explicitely. It turns out that in weight 0 one gets as non-trivial deformation only one formal non-converging deformation.
In this article, we introduce a deformation cohomology of Leibniz superalgebras. Also, we introduce formal deformation theory of Leibniz superalgebras. Using deformation cohomology we study the formal deformation theory of Leibniz superalgebras.
We study symplectic (contact) structures on nilmanifolds that correspond to the filiform Lie algebras - nilpotent Lie algebras of the maximal length of the descending central sequence. We give a complete classification of filiform Lie algebras that possess a basis e_1, ..., e_n, [e_i,e_j]=c_{ij}e_{i{+}j} (N-graded Lie algebras). In particular we describe the spaces of symplectic cohomology classes for all even-dimensional algebras of the list. It is proved that a symplectic filiform Lie algebra is a filtered deformation of some N-graded symplectic filiform Lie algebra. But this condition is no…
We study a twisted generalization of Novikov superalgebras, called Hom-Novikov superalgebras. It is shown that two classes of Hom-Novikov superalgebras can be constructed from Hom-supercommutative algebras together with derivations and Hom-Novikov superalgebras with Rota-Baxter operators, respectively. We show that quadratic Hom-Novikov superalgebras are Hom-associative superalgebras and the sub-adjacent Hom-Lie superalgebras of Hom-Novikov superalgebras are 2-step nilpotent. Moreover, we develop the 1-parameter formal deformation theory of Hom-Novikov superalgebras.
In this paper, we study Hom-Lie superalgebras of Heisenberg type. For 3-dimensional Heisenberg Hom-Lie superalgebras, we describe their Hom-Lie super structures, compute the cohomology spaces and characterize their infinitesimal deformations.
Let $(L, α)$ be a Hom-Lie-Yamaguti superalgebra. We first introduce the representation and cohomology theory of Hom-Lie-Yamaguti superalgebras. Furthermore, we introduce the notions of generalized derivations and representations of $(L, α)$ and present some properties. Finally, we investigate the deformations of $(L, α)$ by choosing some suitable cohomology.
The purpose of this paper is to extend the cohomology and conformal derivation theories of the classical Lie conformal algebras to Lie conformal superalgebras. Firstly, we construct the semidirect product of a Lie conformal superalgebra and its conformal module, and study derivations of this semidirect product. Secondly, we develop cohomology theory of Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss some applications to the study of deformations of Lie conformal superalgebras. Finally, we introduce generalized derivations of Lie conformal superalgebras and study their properties.
In this paper, we introduce a representation theory of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss the cases of adjoint representations. Furthermore, we develop cohomology theory of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss some applications to the study of deformations of regular Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras. Finally, we introduce derivations of multiplicative Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and study their properties.
In this paper, we introduce the relevant concepts of $n$-ary multiplicative Hom-Nambu-Lie superalgebras and construct three classes of $n$-ary multiplicative Hom-Nambu-Lie superalgebras. As a generalization of the notion of derivations for $n$-ary multiplicative Hom-Nambu-Lie algebras, we discuss the derivations of $n$-ary multiplicative Hom-Nambu-Lie superalgebras. In addition, the theory of one parameter formal deformation of $n$-ary multiplicative Hom-Nambu-Lie superalgebras is developed by choosing a suitable cohomology.
In this paper, we study hom-Lie superalgebras. We give the definition of hom-Nijienhuis operators of regualr hom-Lie superalgebras and show that the deformation generated by a hom-Nijienhuis operator is trivial. Moreover, we introduce the definition of $T^*$-extensions of Hom-Lie superalgebras and show that $T^*$-extensions preserve many properties such as nilpotency, solvability and decomposition in some sense. We also investigate the equivalence of $T^*$-extensions.
We construct large families of characteristically nilpotent Lie algebras by considering deformations of the Lie algebra g_{m,m-1}^{4} of type Q_{n},and which arises as a central extension fo the filiform Lie algebra L_{n}. By studying the graded cohomology spaces we obtain that the sill algebras are isomorphic to the nilradicals of solvable, complete Lie algebra laws. For extremal cocycles these laws are also rigid. Considering supplementary cocycles we construcy, for dimensions n>8, nonfiliform characteristically nilpotent Lie algebras and show that for certain deformations these are compatib…
We study symplectic structures on filiform Lie algebras -- nilpotent Lie algebras of the maximal length of the descending central sequence. In the present article we classify the Lie algebras with the structure relations of the following form: $$[e_i,e_j]=(j-i)e_{i+j}+\sum_{l{=}1}c_{ij}^l e_{i+j+l}, i+j \le n.$$ In even dimensions the subspace of symplectic Lie algebras has the codimension one.
The purpose of this paper is to compute the second adjoint cohomology group of q-deformed Witt superalgebras. They are Hom-Lie superalgebras obtained by q-deformation of Witt Lie superalgebra, that is one considers $σ$-derivations instead of classical derivations.
The purpose of this paper is to develop a cohomology and deformation theories for generalized left-symmetric algebras. We introduce the notions of generalized left-symmetric cohomology and deformation. We also generalize a theorem of Dzhumadil'daev on connections between the right-symmetric cohomology and Chevalley-Eilenberg cohomology. As an application, we obtain a factorization theorem in left-symmetric superalgebras cohomology. Finally, we obtain all complex simple left-symmetric superalgebras of dimension 3 by the infinitesimal deformations of a given left-symmetric superalgebras.
We introduce the concept of 3-Lie-Rinehart superalgebra and systematically describe a cohomology complex by considering coefficient modules. Furthermore, we study the relationships between a Lie-Rinehart superalgebra and its induced 3-Lie-Rinehart superalgebra. The deformations of 3-Lie-Rinehart superalgebra are considered via the cohomology theory.
In this paper, we introduce the representation theory of $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss the cases of adjoint representations. Furthermore, we develop the cohomology theory of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss some applications to the study of deformations of regular $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras. Finally, we introduce derivations of multiplicative $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras and study their properties.
The Bargmann algebra and centrally-extended Newton-Hooke algebras describe the non-relativistic symmetries of massive particles in flat and curved spacetimes, respectively. These three algebras all arise as deformations of the universal central-extension of the static kinematical Lie algebra. In this paper, we classify the N=1 super-extensions for each of these algebras in (3+1)-dimensions, up to isomorphism. We then identify the non-empty branches of the algebraic variety describing the N=2 super-extensions of these algebras. We find 9 isomorphism classes in the N=1 case and 22 branches in th…
As is well-known, the dimension of the space spanned by the non-degenerate invariant symmetric bilinear forms (NISes) on any simple finite-dimensional Lie algebra or Lie superalgebra is equal to at most 1 if the characteristic of the algebraically closed ground field is not 2. We prove that in characteristic 2, the superdimension of the space spanned by NISes can be equal to 0, or 1, or $0|1$, or $1|1$; it is equal to $1|1$ if and only if the Lie superalgebra is a queerification (defined in arXiv:1407.1695) of a simple classically restricted Lie algebra with a NIS (for examples, mainly in char…

The ground field in the text is of characteristic 2. The classification of modulo 2 gradings of simple Lie algebras is vital for the classification of simple finite-dimensional Lie superalgebras: with each grading, a simple Lie superalgebra is associated, see arXiv:1407.1695. No classification of gradings was known for any type of simple Lie algebras, bar restricted Jacobson-Witt algebras (i.e., the first derived of the Lie algebras of vector fields with truncated polynomials as coefficients) on not less than 3 indeterminates. Here we completely describe gradings modulo 2 for several series of…
We introduce an infinite-dimensional Lie superalgebra which is an extension of the U-duality Lie algebra of maximal supergravity in D dimensions, for D between 3 and 7. The level decomposition with respect to the U-duality Lie algebra gives exactly the tensor hierarchy of representations that arises in gauge deformations of the theory described by an embedding tensor, for all positive levels p. We prove that these representations are always contained in those coming from the associated Borcherds-Kac-Moody superalgebra, and we explain why some of the latter representations are not included in t…
Given a finite dimensional Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$, let $Γ_\circ(\mathfrak{g})$ be the set of irreducible $\mathfrak{g}$-modules with non-vanishing cohomology. We prove that a $\mathfrak{g}$-module $V$ belongs to $Γ_\circ(\mathfrak{g})$ only if $V$ is contained in the exterior algebra of the solvable radical $\mathfrak{s}$ of $\mathfrak{g}$, showing in particular that $Γ_\circ(\mathfrak{g})$ is a finite set and we deduce that $H^*(\mathfrak{g},V)$ is an $L$-module, where $L$ is a fixed subgroup of the connected component of $\operatorname{Aut}(\mathfrak{g})$ which contains a Levi factor. We…
