Let $\XR$ be a (generalized) flag manifold of a non-compact real semisimple Lie group $\GR$, where $\XR$ and $\GR$ have complexifications X and G. We investigate the problem of constructing a graded star product on $Pol(T^*\XR)$ which corresponds to a $\GR$-equivariant quantization of symbols into smooth differential operators acting on half-densities on $\XR$.
We show that any solution is algebraic in that it restricts to a G-equivariant graded star product star on the algebraic part R of $Pol(T^*\XR)$. We construct, when R is generated by the momentum functions $μ^x$ for G, a preferred choice of star where $μ^x\starϕ$ has the form $μ^xϕ+\half\{μ^x,ϕ\}t+Λ^x(ϕ)t^2$. Here $Λ^x$ are operators on R which are not differential in the known examples and so $μ^x\starϕ$ is not local in $ϕ$.
R acquires an invariant positive definite inner product compatible with its grading. The completion of R is a new Fock space type model of the unitary representation of G on $L^2$ half-densities on X.
We describe hypergeometric solutions of the quantum differential equation of the cotangent bundle of a gl_n partial flag variety. These hypergeometric solutions manifest the Landau-Ginzburg mirror symmetry for the cotangent bundle of a partial flag variety.
We describe the monodromy of the equivariant quantum differential equation of the cotangent bundle of a Grassmannian in terms of the equivariant K-theory algebra of the cotangent bundle. This description is based on the hypergeometric integral representations for solutions of the equivariant quantum differential equation. We identify the space of solutions with the space of the equivariant K-theory algebra of the cotangent bundle. In particular, we show that for any element of the monodromy group, all entries of its matrix in the standard basis of the equivariant K-theory algebra of the cotang…
We interpret the equivariant cohomology algebra H^*_{GL_n\times\C^*}(T^*F_λ;\C) of the cotangent bundle of a partial flag variety F_λparametrizing chains of subspaces 0=F_0\subset F_1\subset\dots\subset F_N =\C^n, \dim F_i/F_{i-1}=λ_i, as the Yangian Bethe algebra of the gl_N-weight subspace of a gl_N Yangian module. Under this identification the dynamical connection of [TV1] turns into the quantum connection of [BMO] and [MO]. As a result of this identification we describe the algebra of quantum multiplication on H^*_{GL_n\times\C^*}(T^*F_λ;\C) as the algebra of functions on fibers of a discr…
Aganagic and Okounkov proved that the elliptic stable envelope provides the pole cancellation matrix for the enumerative invariants of quiver varieties known as vertex functions. This transforms a basis of a system of $q$-difference equations holomorphic in $\boldsymbol{z}$ with poles in $\boldsymbol{a}$ to a basis of solutions holomorphic in $\boldsymbol{a}$ with poles in $\boldsymbol{z}$. The resulting functions are expected to be the vertex functions of the 3d mirror dual variety. In this paper, we prove that for the cotangent bundle of the full flag variety, the functions obtained in this …
Let $\Oq(G)$ be the algebra of quantized functions on an algebraic group $G$ and $\Oq(B)$ its quotient algebra corresponding to a Borel subgroup $B$ of $G$. We define the category of sheaves on the "quantum flag variety of $G$" to be the $\Oq(B)$-equivariant $\Oq(G)$-modules and proves that this is a proj-category. We construct a category of equivariant quantum $\mathcal{D}$-modules on this quantized flag variety and prove the Beilinson-Bernsteins localization theorem for this category in the case when $q$ is not a root of unity.
In this paper, we give an explicit formula of Chevalley type, in terms of the Bruhat graph, for the quantum multiplication with the class of the line bundle associated to the anti-dominant minuscule fundamental weight $- \varpi_{k}$ in the torus-equivariant quantum $K$-group of the partial flag manifold $G/P_{J}$ (where $J = I \setminus \{k\}$) corresponding to the maximal (standard) parabolic subgroup $P_{J}$ of minuscule type in type $A$, $D$, $E$, or $B$. This result is obtained by proving a similar formula in a torus-equivariant $K$-group of the semi-infinite partial flag manifold $\mathbf…
In this paper we deal with Radon transforms for generalized flag manifolds in the framework of quasi-equivariant D-modules. We shall follow the method employed by Baston-Eastwood and analyze the Radon transform using the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand resolution and the Borel-Weil-Bott theorem. We shall determine the transform completely on the level of the Grothendieck groups. Moreover, we point out a vanishing criterion and give a sufficient condition in order that a D-module associated to an equivariant locally free O-module is transformed into an object of the same type. The case of maximal par…
We prove a Pieri-Chevalley formula for anti-dominant weights and also a Monk formula in the torus-equivariant $K$-group of the formal power series model of semi-infinite flag manifolds, both of which are described explicitly in terms of semi-infinite Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths (or, equivalently, quantum Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths). In view of recent results of Kato, these formulas give an explicit description of the structure constants for the Pontryagin product in the torus-equivariant $K$-group of affine Grassmannians and that for the quantum multiplication of the torus-equivariant (small) qua…
The equivariant $K$-theory of the semi-infinite flag manifold, as developed recently by Kato, Naito, and Sagaki, carries commuting actions of the nil-double affine Hecke algebra (nil-DAHA) and a $q$-Heisenberg algebra. The action of the latter generates a free submodule of rank $|W|$, where $W$ is the (finite) Weyl group. We show that this submodule is stable under the nil-DAHA, which enables one to express the nil-DAHA action in terms of $W\times W$ matrices over the $q$-Heisenberg algebra. Our main result gives an explicit algebraic construction of these matrices as a limit from the (non-nil…
For the root system of type $A$ we introduce and study a certain extension of the quadratic algebra invented by S. Fomin and the first author, to construct a model for the equivariant cohomology ring of the corresponding flag variety. As an application of our construction we describe a generalization of the equivariant Pieri rule for double Schubert polynomials. For a general finite Coxeter system we construct an extension of the corresponding Nichols-Woronowicz algebra. In the case of finite crystallographic Coxeter systems we present a construction of extended Nichols-Woronowicz algebra mode…
A 2-category was introduced in arXiv:0803.3652 [math.QA] that categorifies Lusztig's integral version of quantum sl(2). Here we construct for each positive integer N arepresentation of this 2-category using the equivariant cohomology of iterated flag varieties. This representation categorifies the irreducible (N+1)-dimensional representation of quantum sl(2).
We introduce $C^*$-algebras associated to the foliation structure of a quantum flag manifold. We use these to construct $SL_q(3,\mathbb{C})$-equivariant Fredholm modules for the full quantum flag manifold $X_q = SU_q(3)/T$ of $SU_q(3)$, based on an analytical version of the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand complex. As a consequence we deduce that the flag manifold $ X_q $ satisfies Poincaré duality in equivariant $ KK $-theory. Moreover, we show that the Baum-Connes conjecture with trivial coefficients holds for the discrete quantum group dual to $SU_q(3)$.
We consider the cotangent bundle $T^*F_λ$ of a $GL_n$ partial flag variety, $λ=(λ_1,...,λ_N)$, $|λ|=\sum_iλ_i=n$, and the torus $T=(\C^\times)^{n+1}$ equivariant K-theory algebra $K_T(T^*F_λ)$. We introduce K-theoretic stable envelope maps $\Stab_σ: \oplus_{|λ|=n} K_T((T^*F_λ)^T)\to\oplus_{|λ|=n}K_T(T^*F_λ)$, where $σ\in S_n$. Using these maps we define a quantum loop algebra action on $\oplus_{|λ|=n}K_T(T^*F_λ)$. We describe the associated Bethe algebra $B^q(K_T(T^*F_λ))$ by generators and relations in terms of a discrete Wronski map. We prove that the limiting Bethe algebra $B^q(K_T(T^*F_λ))…
We propose a definition of equivariant (with respect to an Iwahori subgroup) $K$-theory of the formal power series model $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$ of semi-infinite flag manifold and prove the Pieri-Chevalley formula, which describes the product, in the $K$-theory of $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$, of the structure sheaf of a semi-infinite Schubert variety with a line bundle (associated to a dominant integral weight) over $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$. In order to achieve this, we provide a number of fundamental results on $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$ and its Schubert subvarieties including the Borel-Weil-Bott theory, whose special case is c…
We give a combinatorial Chevalley formula for an arbitrary weight, in the torus-equivariant K-theory of semi-infinite flag manifolds, which is expressed in terms of the quantum alcove model. As an application, we prove the Chevalley formula for anti-dominant fundamental weights in the (small) torus-equivariant quantum K-theory of the flag manifold G/B; this has been a longstanding conjecture about the multiplicative structure of the mentioned quantum K-theory. Moreover, in type A, we prove that the so-called quantum Grothendieck polynomials indeed represent Schubert classes in the (non-equivar…
Using the Kontsevich's moduli space of stable maps, we define the equivariant quantum cohomology for generalized flag varieties and make a rigorous computation of quantum cohomology of flag varieties.
We prove an explicit inverse Chevalley formula in the equivariant $K$-theory of semi-infinite flag manifolds of simply-laced type. By an inverse Chevalley formula, we mean a formula for the product of an equivariant scalar with a Schubert class, expressed as a $\mathbb{Z}[q^{\pm 1}]$-linear combination of Schubert classes twisted by equivariant line bundles. Our formula applies to arbitrary Schubert classes in semi-infinite flag manifolds of simply-laced type and equivariant scalars $e^λ$, where $λ$ is an arbitrary minuscule weight. By a result of Stembridge, our formula completely determines …
Fomin and Kirillov initiated a line of research into the realization of the cohomology and $K$-theory of generalized flag varieties $G/B$ as commutative subalgebras of certain noncommutative algebras. This approach has several advantages, which we discuss. This paper contains the most comprehensive result in a series of papers related to the mentioned line of research. More precisely, we give a model for the $T$-equivariant $K$-theory of a generalized flag variety $K_T(G/B)$ in terms of a certain braided Hopf algebra called the Nichols-Woronowicz algebra. Our model is based on the Chevalley-ty…
As a generalization of our previous paper [GK], we formulate a residue formula and some simple behaviors of equivariant quantum cohomology applying to compute the quantum cohomology of partial flag manifolds $F_{k_1,\cdots , k_l} $with a try to give a rigorous definition of equivariant quantum cohomology.
We describe \,$q$-hypergeometric solutions of the equivariant quantum differential equations and associated qKZ difference equations for the cotangent bundle $T^*F_λ$ of a partial flag variety \,$F_λ$\,. These \,$q$-hypergeometric solutions manifest a Landau-Ginzburg mirror symmetry for the cotangent bundle. We formulate and prove Pieri rules for quantum equivariant cohomology of the cotangent bundle. Our Gamma theorem for \,$T^*F_λ$ \,says that the leading term of the asymptotics of the \,$q$-hypergeometric solutions can be written as the equivariant Gamma class of the tangent bundle of $T^*F…
In the paper \cite{BK} we defined categories of equivariant quantum $\mathcal{O}_q$-modules and $\mathcal{D}_q$-modules on the quantum flag variety of $G$. We proved that the Beilinson-Bernstein localization theorem holds at a generic $q$. Here we prove that a derived version of this theorem holds at the root of unity case. Namely, the global section functor gives a derived equivalence between category of $U_q$-modules and $\mathcal{D}_q$-modules on the quantum flag variety. For this we first prove that $\mathcal{D}_q$ is an Azumaya algebra over an open subset ofthe cotangent bundle $T^\star X…
We consider the system of quantum differential equations for a partial flag variety and construct a basis of solutions in the form of multidimensional hypergeometric functions, that is, we construct a Landau-Ginzburg mirror for that partial flag variety. In our construction, the solutions are labeled by elements of the $K$-theory algebra of the partial flag variety. To establish these facts we consider the equivariant quantum differential equations for a partial flag variety and introduce a compatible system of difference equations, which we call the qKZ equations. We construct a basis of solu…
The quantization of vector bundles is defined. Examples are constructed for the well controlled case of equivariant vector bundles over compact coadjoint orbits. (Coadjoint orbits are symplectic spaces with a transitive, semisimple symmetry group.) In preparation for the main result, the quantization of coadjoint orbits is discussed in detail. This subject should not be confused with the quantization of the total space of a vector bundle such as the cotangent bundle.
We continue the study, begun in [Kouno-Naito-Orr-Sagaki, 2021], of inverse Chevalley formulas for the equivariant $K$-group of semi-infinite flag manifolds. Using the language of alcove paths, we reformulate and extend our combinatorial inverse Chevalley formula to arbitrary weights in all simply-laced types (conjecturally also for $E_8$).
We interpret the GL_n equivariant cohomology of a partial flag variety of flags of length N in \C^n as the Bethe algebra of a suitable gl_N[t] module associated with the tensor power (\C^N)^{\otimes n}.
In this paper we construct some quantum analogues of the global Cousin complex for the flag variety in positive characteristic. Just like in the positive characteristic case, we obtain some remarkable resolutions of the contragradient modules over the small quantum group. We use these resolutions to calculate semiinfinite cohomology of the small quantum group with coefficients in contragradient Weyl modules. It turns out that the described graded space of semiinfinite cohomology is naturally isomorphic to the space of distributions on the cotangent bundle of the flag variety with support in th…
The quantum version of the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand resolution is used to construct a Dolbeault-Dirac operator on the anti-holomorphic forms of the Heckenberger-Kolb calculus for the $B_2$-irreducible quantum flag manifold. The spectrum and the multiplicities of the eigenvalues of the Dolbeault-Dirac operator are computed. It is shown that this construction yields an equivariant, even, $0^+$-summable spectral triple.
