Grassmannian stochastic analysis and the stochastic quantization of Euclidean Fermions

We introduce a stochastic analysis of Grassmann random variables suitable for the stochastic quantization of Euclidean fermionic quantum field theories. Analysis on Grassmann algebras is developed here from the point of view of quantum probability: a Grassmann random variable is an homomorphism of an abstract Grassmann algebra into a quantum probability space, i.e. a $C^{\ast}$-algebra endowed with a suitable state. Constant curvature solutions of Grassmannian sigma models: (2) Non-holomorphic solutions

We generalize here our general procedure for constructing constant curvature maps of 2-spheres into Grassmannian manifolds G(m,n) this time concentrating our attention on maps which are non-holomorphic. We present some expressions describing these solutions in the general case and discuss how to use these results to construct solutions of constant curvature. We also discuss possible values of this constant curvature.

Canonical surfaces associated with projectors in grassmannian sigma models

We discuss the construction of higher-dimensional surfaces based on the harmonic maps of $S^2$ into $CP^{N-1}$ and other grassmannians. We show that there are two ways of implementing this procedure - both based on the use of the relevant projectors. We study various properties of such projectors and show that the Gaussian curvature of these surfaces, in general, is not constant. We look in detail at the surfaces corresponding to the Veronese sequence of such maps and show that for all of them this curvature is constant but its value depends on which mapping is used in the construction of the …

On the rigidity of geometric and spectral properties of Grassmannian frames

We study the rigidity properties of Grassmannian frames: basis-like sets of unit vectors that correspond to optimal Grassmannian line packings. It is known that Grassmannian frames characterized by the Welch bound must satisfy the restrictive geometric and spectral conditions of being both equiangular and tight; however, less is known about the necessary properties of other types of Grassmannian frames. Tau functions, infinite Grassmannians and lattice recurrences

The addition formulae for KP $τ$-functions, when evaluated at lattice points in the KP flow group orbits in the infinite dimensional Sato-Segal-Wilson Grassmannian, give infinite parametric families of solutions to discretizations of the KP hierarchy. The CKP hierarchy may similarly be viewed as commuting flows on the Lagrangian sub-Grassmannian of maximal isotropic subspaces with respect to a suitably defined symplectic form. Birkhoff strata of Sato Grassmannian and algebraic curves

Algebraic and geometric structures associated with Birkhoff strata of Sato Grassmannian are analyzed. It is shown that each Birkhoff stratum $Σ_S$ contains a subset $W_{\hat{S}}$ of points for which each fiber of the corresponding tautological subbundle $TB_{W_S}$ is closed with respect to multiplication. Grassmannian representation of the two-dimensional monomer-dimer model

We present an application of the Grassmann algebra to the problem of the monomer-dimer statistics on a two-dimensional square lattice. The exact partition function, or total number of possible configurations, of a system of dimers with a finite set of n monomers with fixed positions can be expressed via a quadratic fermionic theory.
