We propose a regularization technique and apply it to the Euler product of zeta functions, mainly of the Riemann zeta function, to make unknown some clear. In this paper that is the first part of the trilogy, we try to demonstrate the Riemann hypotheses by this regularization technique and show conditions to realize them. In part two, we will focus on zeros of the Riemann zeta function and the nature of prime numbers in order to prepare ourselves for physical applications in the third part.
We consider a variant expression to regularize the Euler product representation of the zeta functions, where we mainly apply to that of the Riemann zeta function in this paper. The regularization itself is identical to that of the zeta function of the summation expression, but the non-use of the Möebius function enable us to confirm a finite behavior of residual terms which means an absence of zeros except for the critical line. It is known that not all summation methods are linear and stable. Zeta function regularization is in general non-linear. However, in some cases formal manipulations with "zeta function" regularization (assuming linearity of sums) lead to correct results. We consider several examples and show why this happens.
We prove that the p-adic Koba-Nielsen type string amplitudes are bona fide integrals. We attach to these amplitudes Igusa-type integrals depending on several complex parameters and show that these integrals admit meromorphic continuations as rational functions. Then we use these functions to regularize the Koba-Nielsen amplitudes. As far as we know, there is no a similar result for the Archimedean Koba-Nielsen amplitudes. We also discuss the existence of divergencies and the connections with multivariate Igusa's local zeta functions.

In this paper, whose aims are mainly pedagogical, we illustrate how to use the local zeta regularization to compute the stress-energy tensor of the Casimir effect. Our attention is devoted to the case of a neutral, massless scalar field in flat space-time, on a space domain with suitable (e.g., Dirichlet) boundary conditions. We emphasize the close relationship between zeta function methods and arbitrary spectral cutoff regularizations in curved spacetime. This yields, on the one hand, a physically sound and mathematically rigorous justification of the standard zeta function regularization at one loop and, on the other hand, a natural generalization of this method to higher loops. Our goal in this paper is to present a generalization of the spectral zeta regularization for general Feynman amplitudes. Our method uses complex powers of elliptic operators but involves several complex parameters in the spirit of the analytic renormalization by Speer, to build mathematical foundations for the renormalization of perturbative interacting quantum field theories. The zeta-regularization allows to establish a connection between Feynman's path integral and Fourier integral operator zeta-functions. This fact can be utilized to perform the regularization of the vacuum expectation values in quantum field theories. In this proceeding, we will describe the concept of the zeta-regularization, give a simple example and demonstrate that quantum computing can be employed to numerically evaluate zeta-regulated vacuum expectation values on a quantum computer.
In Part I of this series of papers we have described a general formalism to compute the vacuum effects of a scalar field via local (or global) zeta regularization. In the present Part II we exemplify the general formalism in a number of cases which can be solved explicitly by analytical means. More in detail we deal with configurations involving parallel or perpendicular planes and we also discuss the case of a three-dimensional wedge.

In this work, we mainly study the one-loop effective action for real scalar theories in non-homogeneous backgrounds in odd dimensions. It is shown that through the method studied in Ref. [1], it is possible to obtain a unified result for the one-loop correction to the Euclidean effective action in 2+1 dimensions. Our result simplifies into the ones given in the literature calculated via different techniques based on some assumptions of field and its derivative. We show that a new multiplicative genus, in the sense of Hirzebruch, can be obtained by generalizing a calculation due to Atiyah and Witten. We introduce this as the $\hatΓ$-genus, compute its value for some examples and highlight some of its interesting properties. We also indicate a connection with the study of multiple zeta values, which gives an algebraic interpretation for our proposed regularization procedure.
A method for describing the quantum kink states in the semi-classical limit of several (1+1)-dimensional field theoretical models is developed. We use the generalized zeta function regularization method to compute the one-loop quantum correction to the masses of the kink in the sine-Gordon and cubic sinh-Gordon models and another two ${\rm P}(ϕ)_2$ systems with polynomial self-interactions.
To motivate our discussion, we consider a 1+1 dimensional scalar field interacting with a static Coulomb-type background, so that the spectrum of quantum fluctuations is given by a second-order differential operator on a single coordinate r with a singular coefficient proportional to 1/r. A new formula relating the analytic continuation of the Hurwitz zeta function to the Euler gamma function and a polylogarithmic function is presented. In particular, the values of the first derivative of the real part of the analytic continuation of the Hurwitz zeta function for even negative integers and the imaginary one for odd negative integers are explicitly given. For any function that is real for real x, positivity of Tuck's function Q(x)=D'^2(x)/(D'^2(x)-D"(x) D(x)) is a condition for the absence of the complex zeros close to the real axis. The first quantum correction to the finite temperature partition function for a self-interacting massless scalar field on a $D-$dimensional flat manifold with $p$ non-commutative extra dimensions is evaluated by means of dimensional regularization, suplemented with zeta-function techniques.
