We construct a charged Bardeen black hole (BH) surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM) and coupled to a cloud of strings (CS). The metric function combines the magnetic monopole charge from nonlinear electrodynamics, the PFDM logarithmic correction, and the CS parameter that renders the spacetime asymptotically non-flat. We analyze the horizon structure, identifying parameter ranges yielding non-extremal BHs, extremal configurations, and naked singularities. The null geodesics, photon sphere radius, and shadow are computed, revealing that both CS and PFDM enlarge the shadow. For neutral particle dynamics, we derive the specific energy, angular momentum, and innermost stable circular orbit location. Quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs) are examined through the azimuthal, radial, and vertical epicyclic frequencies, where notably the azimuthal frequency is independent of the CS parameter. Scalar field perturbations governed by the Klein-Gordon equation yield an effective potential whose peak decreases with both parameters, yet the transmission and reflection probabilities respond oppositely to CS and PFDM variations. The greybody factor bounds are obtained using semi-analytical methods. Our results demonstrate that the distinct effects of $α$ and $β$ on various observables could allow independent constraints on these parameters through shadow measurements, QPO timing, and gravitational wave ringdown observations.
In this paper, the greybody factor is studied analytically for a rotating regular Bardeen black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter. Firstly, we examine the behavior of effective potential by using the radial equation of motion developed from the Klein-Gordon equation. We then consider tortoise coordinate to convert the radial equation into Schrödinger form equation. We solve the radial equation of motion and obtain two different asymptotic solutions in terms of hypergeometric function measured at distinct regimes so called near and far-field horizons. These solutions are smoothly mat…
We derive an exact solution of the spherically symmetric Bardeen black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM). By treating the magnetic charge $g$ and dark matter parameter $α$ as thermodynamic variables, we find that the thermodynamic first law and the corresponding Smarr formula are satisfied. The thermodynamic stability of the black hole is also studied. The result show that, there exists a critical radius $r_{+}^{C}$, where the heat capacity diverges, suggesting that the black hole is thermodynamically stable in the range $0<r_{+}<r_{+}^{C}$. In addition, the critical radius $…
We study the dynamics of (i) neutral test particles, (ii) magnetically charged test particles, and (iii) test magnetic dipole around a regular Bardeen black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM). It has been shown how the magnetic charge of the black hole and the parameter of the surrounding PFDM can influence the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) radius of a test particle. We have found that the ISCO radius is strongly affected as a consequence of the combined effect of the magnetic charge parameter and the perfect fluid dark matter. The black hole magnetic charge parameter…
Bardeen proposed a gravitationally collapsing magnetic monopole black hole solution which is free of singularity. In this article, we have studied the size and shape of the rotating Bardeen blackhole shadow in presence of perfect fluid dark matter. we have discussed how the parameters such a spin, magnetic monopole charge and influence of dark matter affects the shadow of our blackhole. The apparent shape of the blackhole was studied by using two observables, the radius Rs and the distortion parameter R_s. Further the blackhole emission rate is also studied, we found out that for rotating Bard…
Quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs) observed in the power spectrum of black holes are unique observational probes to the background spacetime since they can be directly related to the timescales associated with the motion of matter orbiting in the vicinity of the black hole horizon. In this regard, the high frequency QPOs (HFQPOs) are particularly interesting as they occur in commensurable pairs, the most common ratio being the 3:2 twin peak QPOs. The theoretical models which aim to explain these QPOs express the observed frequencies in terms of the epicyclic motion of test particles in a given…
Considering the regular Bardeen black hole spacetimes, we test the observational effects of the general relativistic solutions coupled to non-linear electrodynamics (NED) by studying the photon motion in the effective geometry governed by the spacetime geometry and the NED Lagrangian. We focus our attention to the observationally important case of profiled spectral lines generated by rings radiating in a fixed frequency and orbiting the black hole along circular geodesics of the Bardeen spacetime. Such profiled spectral lines are observed in active galactic nuclei and in microquasars, giving s…
Thermodynamics, thermodynamic geometry, and the shadow of a Bardeen black hole surrounded by a Kiselev fluid: the role of regularity, asymptotics, and observational self-consistency
We study circular geodesic motion of test particles and photons in the Bardeen and Ayon-Beato-Garcia (ABG) geometry describing spherically symmetric regular black-hole or no-horizon spacetimes. While the Bardeen geometry is not exact solution of Einstein's equations, the ABG spacetime is related to self-gravitating charged sources governed by Einstein's gravity and non-linear electrodynamics. They both are characterized by the mass parameter $m$ and the charge parameter $g$. We demonstrate that in similarity to the Reissner-Nordstrom (RN) naked singularity spacetimes an antigravity static sphe…
Shape and frequency-shift map of direct and indirect images of Keplerian discs orbiting in Bardeen and Ayon-Beato-Garcia (ABG) black hole and no-horizon spacetimes are determined. Then profiles of spectral lines generated in the innermost parts of the Keplerian discs in the Bardeen and ABG spacetimes are constructed. The frequency-shift maps and profiled spectral lines are compared to those generated in the field of Schwarzschild black holes and possible observationally relevant signatures of the regular black hole and no-horizon spacetimes are discussed. We demonstrate that differences relati…
Black holes carrying a magnetic monopole charge are a subject of interest for a long time. In this work we explore the possibility of an observational evidence of such black holes carrying a magnetic monopole, namely the Bardeen rotating black holes. We derive the theoretical spectrum from the accretion disk surrounding a Bardeen black hole using the thin-disk approximation. We compare the theoretically derived spectrum in comparison to the optical data of eighty Palomar Green quasars to constrain the monopole charge parameter $g$ and the spin parameter $a$ of the quasars. From our analysis we…
We investigate the descriptions for the observables of inflationary models, in particular, the spectral index of curvature perturbations, the tensor-to-scalar ratio, and the running of the spectral index, in the framework of perfect fluid models and $F(R)$ gravity theories through the reconstruction methods. Furthermore, the perfect fluid and $F(R)$ gravity descriptions of inflation are compared with the recent cosmological observations such as the Planck satellite and BICEP2 experiment. It is demonstrated with explicit examples that perfect fluid may lead to the inflationary universe consiste…
Our primary goal in this paper is to confirm new universal relations in black hole thermodynamics. We investigate the universal relations by selecting different black holes. First, we obtain the black holes' thermodynamic relations assuming a new minor correction is added to the AdS part of the action. Then we confirm the universal relations by performing a series of direct calculations. It is noteworthy that according to each of the properties related to black holes, a new universal relation can be obtained according to this method. We confirm two different types of these universal relations …
For the description of the early inflation, and acceleration expansion of the Universe, compatible with observational data, the 5D noncompact Kaluza--Klein cosmology is investigated. It is proposed that the 5D space is filled with a null perfect fluid, resulting a perfect fluid in 4D universe, plus one along the fifth dimension. By analyzing the reduced field equations for flat FRW model, we show the early inflationary behavior and current acceleration of the universe.
We verify the existence of Generalized Sudden Future Singularities (GSFS) in quintessence models with scalar field potential of the form $V(ϕ)\sim \vert ϕ\vert^n$ where $0<n<1$ and in the presence of a perfect fluid, both numerically and analytically, using a proper generalized expansion ansatz for the scale factor and the scalar field close to the singularity. This generalized ansatz includes linear and quadratic terms, which dominate close to the singularity and cannot be ignored when estimating the Hubble parameter and the scalar field energy density; as a result, they are important for ana…

Black holes in X-ray binaries are often assumed to be rotating perpendicular to the plane of the accretion disk and parallel to the orbital plane of the binary. While the Bardeen-Petterson effect forces the inner part of the accretion disk to be aligned with the equatorial plane of a spinning black hole, the disk may be warped such that the inclination angle of the outer part is different from that of the inner part. In this paper, we identify a possible observational signature of a warped accretion disk in the spectrum of the polarization degree of the continuum. Such a signature would provid…
We consider Kaluza-Klein models with background matter in the form of a multicomponent perfect fluid. This matter provides spherical compactification of the internal space with an arbitrary number of dimensions. The gravitating source has the dust-like equation of state in the external/our space and an arbitrary equation of state (with the parameter $Ω$) in the internal space. In the single-component case, tension ($Ω=-1/2$) is the necessary condition to satisfy both the gravitational tests in the solar system and the thermodynamical observations. In the multicomponent case, we propose two mod…

In this work, we consider a rotating charged black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter. We consider the system to be immersed in non-magnetised, pressureless plasma. First, we evaluate the null geodesics in order to study the co-rotating and counter rotating photon orbits. Further, we analyse the null geodesics to calculate the celestial coordinates ($α, β$). The celestial coordinates are used to determine the black hole shadow radius ($R_s$). Thereafter, we observe and analyse the effects of black hole spacetime, perfect fluid dark matter and plasma parameters ($a$, $Q$, $χ$, $k$) on…
The Event Horizon Telescope, a global submillimeter wavelength very long baseline interferometry array, produced the first image of supermassive black hole M87* showing a ring of diameter $θ_d= 42\pm 3\,μ$as, inferred a black hole mass of $M=(6.5 \pm 0.7) \times 10^9 M_\odot $ and allowed us to investigate the nature of strong-field gravity. The observed image is consistent with the shadow of a Kerr black hole, which according to the Kerr hypothesis describes the background spacetimes of all astrophysical black holes. The hypothesis, a strong-field prediction of general relativity, may be viol…
We derived an exact solution of the spherically symmetric Hayward black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM). By applying the Newman-Janis algorithm, we generalized it to the corresponding rotating black hole. Then, we studied the shadows of rotating Hayward black hole in PFDM. The apparent shape of the shadow depends upon the black hole spin $a$, the magnetic charge $Q$ and the PFDM intensity parameter $k$ ($k<0$). The shadow is a perfect circle in the non-rotating case ($a=0$) and a deformed one in the rotating case ($a\neq{0}$). For a fixed value of $a$, the size of the shado…
The phenomenological parametrizations of dark-energy (DE) equation of state can be very helpful, since they allow for the investigation of its cosmological behavior despite the fact that its underlying theory is unknown. However, although there has been a large amount of research on DE parametrizations which involve two or more free parameters, the one-parameter parametrizations seem to be underestimated. We perform a detailed observational confrontation of five one-parameter DE models, with observational data from cosmic microwave background (CMB), Joint light-curve analysis sample from Super…
FRW universe in Horava-Lifshitz (HL) gravity model filled with a combination of dark matter and dark energy in the form of variable modified Chaplygin gas (VMCG) is considered. The permitted values of the VMCG parameters are determined by the recent astrophysical and cosmological observational data. Here we present the Hubble parameter in terms of the observable parameters $Ω_{dm0}$, $Ω_{vmcg0}$, $H_{0}$, redshift $z$ and other parameters like $α$, $A$, $γ$ and $n$. From Stern data set (12 points), we have obtained the bounds of the arbitrary parameters by minimizing the $χ^{2}$ test. The best…
In the standard model of cosmology, the universe is described by a Robertson-Walker spacetime, while its matter/energy content is modeled by a perfect fluid with three components corresponding to matter/dust, radiation and a cosmological constant. On the other hand, in particle physics matter and radiation are described in terms of quantum field theory on Minkowski spacetime. We unify these seemingly different theoretical frameworks by analysing the standard model of cosmology from first principles within quantum field theory on curved spacetime: assuming that the universe is homogeneous and i…
We have considered the FRW universe in loop quantum cosmology (LQC) model filled with the dark matter (perfect fluid with negligible pressure) and the modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) type dark energy. We present the Hubble parameter in terms of the observable parameters $Ω_{m0}$, $Ω_{x0}$ and $H_{0}$ with the redshift $z$ and the other parameters like $A$, $B$, $C$ and $α$. From Stern data set (12 points), we have obtained the bounds of the arbitrary parameters by minimizing the $χ^{2}$ test. The best-fit values of the parameters are obtained by 66%, 90% and 99% confidence levels. Next due to joi…
In the present paper we study a conformally flat generalized Ricci recurrent perfect fluid spacetime with constant Ricci scalar as a solution of modified $F(R)$-gravity theory. We show that a Robertson-Walker spacetime is generalized Ricci Recurrent if and only if it is Ricci symmetric. The perfect fluid type matter is shown to have EoS $ω=-1$. Some energy conditions are analyzed with couple of popular toy models of $F(R)$-gravity, like $F(R)= R+αR^m $ where $α, m$ are constants and $ F(R)=R+βRlnR $ where $β$ is constant. In harmony with the recent observational studies of accelerated expansio…
Black holes are fascinating objects. As a class of solutions to the Einstein equations they have been studied a great deal, yielding a wealth of theoretical results. But do they really exist? What do astronomers really mean when they claim to have observational evidence of their existence? To answer these questions, I will focus on a particular range of black-hole masses, approximately from 100 to 10000 solar masses. Black holes of this size are named Intermediate Mass Black Holes (IMBHs) and their existence is still heavily disputed, so they will be perfect for illustrating the observational …
Bimetric theory describes a massless and a massive spin-2 field with fully non-linear (self-)interactions. It has a rich phenomenology and has been successfully tested with several data sets. However, the observational constraints have not been combined in a consistent framework, yet. We propose a parametrization of bimetric solutions in terms of the effective cosmological constant $Λ$ and the mass $m_\mathrm{FP}$ of the spin-2 field as well as its coupling strength to ordinary matter $\barα$. This simplifies choosing priors in statistical analysis and allows to directly constrain these parame…
We report on a study of the natural warm inflationary paradigm (WNI). We show two important new results arise in this model. One is that the observational constraints on the primordial power spectrum from the cosmic microwave background (CMB) can be satisfied without going beyond the Planck scale of the effective field theory. The second is that WNI can inevitably provide perfect conditions for the production of primordial black holes (PBHs) in the golden window of black-hole mass range ($10^{-16} -10^{-11}M_{\odot}$) where it can account for all of the the dark matter content of the universe …
We show that, in principle, a slowly evolving gravitationally collapsing perfect fluid cloud can asymptotically settle to a static spherically symmetric equilibrium configuration with a naked singularity at the center. We consider one such asymptotic final configuration with a finite outer radius, and construct a toy model in which it is matched to a Schwarzschild exterior geometry. We examine the properties of circular orbits in this model. We then investigate observational signatures of a thermal accretion disk in this spacetime, comparing them with the signatures expected for a disk around …
