We prove new Lipschitz properties for transport maps along heat flows, constructed by Kim and Milman. For (semi)-log-concave measures and Gaussian mixtures, our bounds have several applications: eigenvalues comparisons, dimensional functional inequalities, and domination of distribution functions.

We extend Caffarelli's contraction theorem, by proving that there exists a Lipschitz changes of variables between the Gaussian measure and certain perturbations of it. Our approach is based on an argument due to Kim and Milman, in which the changes of variables are constructed using a heat flow.
We prove the existence of density for the solution to the multiplicative semilinear stochastic heat equation on an unbounded spatial domain, with drift term satisfying a half-Lipschitz type condition. The methodology is based on a careful analysis of differentiability for a map defined on weighted functional spaces.
We consider the existence and pathwise uniqueness of the stochastic heat equation with a multiplicative colored noise term on IR^d for d greater or equal to 1. We focus on the case of non-Lipschitz noise coefficients and singular spatial noise correlations. In the course of the proof a new result on Hoelder continuity of the solutions near zero is established.
We prove the existence and uniqueness of the mild solution for a nonlinear stochastic heat equation defined on an unbounded spatial domain. The nonlinearity is not assumed to be globally, or even locally, Lipschitz continuous. Instead the nonlinearity is assumed to satisfy a one-sided Lipschitz condition. First, a strengthened version of the Kolmogorov continuity theorem is introduced to prove that the stochastic convolutions of the fundamental solution of the heat equation and a spatially homogeneous noise grow no faster than polynomially. Second, a deterministic mapping that maps the stochas…
Given any $d$-dimensional Lipschitz Riemannian manifold $(M,g)$ with heat kernel $\mathsf{p}$, we establish uniform upper bounds on $\mathsf{p}$ which can always be decoupled in space and time. More precisely, we prove the existence of a constant $C>0$ and a bounded Lipschitz function $R\colon M \to (0,\infty)$ such that for every $x\in M$ and every $t>0$, \begin{align*} \sup_{y\in M} \mathsf{p}(t,x,y) \leq C\min\{t, R^2(x)\}^{-d/2}. \end{align*} This allows us to identify suitable weighted Lebesgue spaces w.r.t. the given volume measure as subsets of the Kato class induced by $(M,g)$. In the …
Suppose that $\{u(t\,, x)\}_{t >0, x \in\mathbb{R}^d}$ is the solution to a $d$-dimensional stochastic heat equation driven by a Gaussian noise that is white in time and has a spatially homogeneous covariance that satisfies Dalang's condition. The purpose of this paper is to establish quantitative central limit theorems for spatial averages of the form $N^{-d} \int_{[0,N]^d} g(u(t\,,x))\, \mathrm{d} x$, as $N\rightarrow\infty$, where $g$ is a Lipschitz-continuous function or belongs to a class of locally-Lipschitz functions, using a combination of the Malliavin calculus and Stein's method for …
We prove the Duality Theorems for the stochastic optimal transportation problems with a convex cost function without a regularity assumption that is often supposed in the proof of the lower semicontinuity of an action integral. In our new approach, we prove that the stochastic optimal transportation problems with a convex cost function are equivalent to a class of variational problems for the Fokker-Planck equation, which lets us revisit them. It is done by the so-called superposition principle and by an idea from the mather theory. The superposition principle is the construction of a semimart…
