IceCube-Gen2 is a planned extension of the IceCube Neutrino Observatory at the South Pole. The extension is optimized to search for sources of astrophysical neutrinos from TeV to EeV, and will improve the sensitivity of the observatory to neutrino point sources by a factor of five. The science case of IceCube-Gen2 is built on a successful decade of observations with IceCube. This index of contributions to the 37th International Cosmic Ray Conference in Berlin, Germany (12-23 July 2021) describes research and development efforts for IceCube-Gen2. Included are performance studies of next-generation optical sensors that will detect Cherenkov radiation from TeV-PeV cosmic rays and neutrinos; optimizations of the geometries of the surface and in-ice optical arrays; and estimates of the sensitivity of the proposed IceCube-Gen2 radio array to Askaryan emission from PeV-EeV neutrinos. Contributions related to the existing instrument, IceCube, are available in a separate collection.

This is a collection of papers that have been contributed by the LOFAR Cosmic Ray Key Science Project (CRKSP) to the 36th International Cosmic Ray Conference held in Madison, Wisconsin, on July 24th to August 1st, 2019 (ICRC 2019). All papers contained here have been individually published in PoS(ICRC2019) with paper numbers 205, 362, 352, 416, and 363, in the order they appear in this collection. Minor modifications to the PoS versions have been applied where appropriate.
Compilation of the six contributions to the ICRC conference 2021 by the CORSIKA 8 Collaboration. The status of the project is illustrated. In particular, the secondary hadron as well as the electromagnetic cascades are being validated individually, and current results are reviewed. A novel framework for radio emission simulations is presented, which is designed given the modular nature of CORSIKA 8 to support, both, the CoREAS as well as the ZHS formalism. At the same time, first Cherenkov emission calculations are shown which are based on CORSIKA 8 coupled with a GPU Cherenkov emission code. …

The Latin American Giant Observatory (LAGO) is an extended cosmic ray observatory composed by a network of water-Cherenkov detectors spanning over different sites located at significantly different altitudes (from sea level up to more than $5000$\,m a.s.l.) and latitudes across Latin America, covering a huge range of geomagnetic rigidity cut-offs and atmospheric absorption/reaction levels. This detection network is designed to measure the temporal evolution of the radiation flux at ground level with extreme detail. The LAGO project is mainly oriented to perform basic research in three branches…
The IceCube Neutrino Observatory detects atmospheric muon neutrinos above 100 GeV at a rate of about 100 000 per year. These neutrinos originate from decays of charged pions and kaons in cosmic ray air showers. Their flux depends on the probability of production and decay of the parent mesons, and is thus sensitive to the stratospheric temperature. Neutrino rates from 8 years of operation of the detector are correlated with the atmospheric temperature profile as measured by the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS). An analysis of this correlation provides a test of models of hadronic interactio…
