In this paper, we study the two phase flow problem with surface tension in the ideal incompressible magnetohydrodynamics. We first prove the local well-posedness of the two phase flow problem with surface tension, then demonstrate that as surface tension tends to zero, the solution of the two phase flow problem with surface tension converges to the solution of the two phase flow problem without surface tension.
In this paper, we prove that as the viscosity and resistivity go to zero, the solution of the Cauchy problem for the incompressible MHD equations converges to the solution of the ideal MHD equations in the same topology with the initial data. Our proof mainly depends on the method introduced by the paper \cite{G.L.Y} and the constructions of the incompressible MHD equations.
In the present paper, we show the ill-posedness of the free boundary problem of the incompressible ideal magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations in two spatial dimensions for any positive vacuum permeability $μ_0$, in Sobolev spaces. The analysis is uniform for any $μ_0>0$.
Let $(u,b)$ be a smooth enough solution of 3-D incompressible MHD system. We prove that if $(u,b)$ blows up at a finite time $T^*$, then for any $p\in]4,\infty[$, there holds $\int_0^{T^*}\bigl(\|u^3(t')\|^p_{\dH^{\frac 12+\frac 2p}}+\|b(t')\|^p_{\dH^{\frac 12+\frac 2p}}\bigr)dt'=\infty$. We remark that all these quantities are in the critical regularity of the MHD system.
In this paper, we solve a long-standing open problem: nonlinear stability of current-vortex sheet in the ideal incompressible Magneto-Hydrodynamics under the linear stability condition. This result gives a first rigorous confirmation of the stabilizing effect of the magnetic field on Kelvin-Helmholtz instability.
This paper is concerned with the Cauchy problem of the multi-dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with inhomogeneous density and fractional dissipation. In this paper, we investigate the Cauchy problem of the nonhomogeneous incompressible non-resistive MHD on $\mathbb{R}^2$ with vacuum as far field density and prove that the 2D Cauchy problem has a unique local strong solution provided that the initial density and magnetic field decay not too slow at infinity. Furthermore, if the initial data satisfy some additional regularity and compatibility conditions, the strong solution becomes a classical one.
This paper is concerned with the Liouville type theorems for the 3D stationary incompressible Hall-MHD equations. We establish that under some sufficient conditions in local Morrey spaces, solutions of the stationary Hall-MHD equations are identically zero. In particular, we also prove Liouville type results for the stationary incompressible MHD equations on $\mathbb{R}^3$. Our theorems extend and generalize the classical results for the stationary incompressible Navier-Stokes equations.
We obtain the global well-posedness to the 3D incompressible magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations in Besov space with negative index of regularity. Particularly, we can get the global solutions for a new class of large initial data. As a byproduct, this result improves the corresponding result in \cite{HHW}. In addition, we also get the global result for this system in $\mathcalχ^{-1}(\R^3)$ originally developed in \cite{LL}. More precisely, we only assume that the norm of initial data is exactly smaller than the sum of viscosity and diffusivity parameters.

This paper is devoted to the analysis of a singular perturbation problem for a $2$-D incompressible MHD system with density variations and Coriolis force, in the limit of small Rossby numbers. Two regimes are considered. The first one is the quasi-homogeneous regime, where the densities are small perturbations around a constant state. This paper concerns with the explicit blowup phenomenon for 3D incompressible MHD equations in R^3. More precisely, we find two family of explicit blowup solutions for 3D incompressible MHD equations in R^3. One family of solutions admit the smooth initial data, and the initial data of another family of solutions are not smooth. The energy of those solutions is infinite. Moreover, our results tell us that the blowup phenomenon of 3D incompressible MHD can only take place in the velocity field of the fluid, but no blowup for the magnetic field.

In this paper, we consider a layer of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting fluid interacting with the magnetic filed in a horizontally periodic setting. The upper boundary bounded by a free boundary and below bounded by a flat rigid interface. We prove the global well-posedness of the problem for both the case with and without surface tension. Moreover, we show that the global solution decays to the equilibrium exponentially in the case with surface tension, however the global solution decays to the equilibrium at an almost exponential rate in the case without surface tension.

For the two-phase incompressible Navier--Stokes equations with surface tension, we derive an appropriate weak formulation incorporating a variational formulation using divergence-free test functions. We prove a consistency result to justify our definition and, under reasonable regularity assumptions, we reconstruct the pressure function from the weak formulation.

We consider the three-dimensional incompressible free-boundary magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations in a bounded domain with surface tension on the boundary. We establish a priori estimate for solutions in the Lagrangian coordinates with $H^{3.5}$ regularity. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first result focusing on the incompressible ideal free-boundary MHD equations with surface tension.
