There is no unified method to solve the fractional differential equation. The type of derivative here used in this paper is of Jumarie formulation, for the several differential equations studied. Here we develop an algorithm to solve the linear fractional differential equation composed via Jumarie fractional derivative in terms of Mittag-Leffler function; and show its conjugation with ordinary calculus. In these fractional differential equations the one parameter Mittag-Leffler function plays the role similar as exponential function used in ordinary differential equations.
Solution of fractional differential equations is an emerging area of present day research because such equations arise in various applied fields. In this paper we have developed analytical method to solve the system of fractional differential equations in-terms of Mittag-Leffler function and generalized Sine and Cosine functions, where the fractional derivative operator is of Jumarie type. The use of Jumarie type fractional derivative, which is modified Rieman-Liouvellie fractional derivative, eases the solution to such fractional order systems. The use of this type of Jumarie fractional deriv…

In this paper, we are concerned with a fractional differential inequality containing a lower order fractional derivative and a polynomial source term in the right hand side. A non-existence of non-trivial global solutions result is proved in an appropriate space by means of the test-function method. The range of blow up is found to depend only on the lower order derivative. This is in line with the well-known fact for an internally weakly damped wave equation that solutions will converge to solutions of the parabolic part.

Explicit solutions of differential equations of complex fractional orders with respect to functions and with continuous variable coefficients are established. The representations of solutions are given in terms of some convergent infinite series of fractional integro-differential operators, which can be widely and efficiently used for analytic and computational purposes. In the case of constant coefficients, the solution can be expressed in terms of the multivariate Mittag-Leffler functions. In particular, the obtained result extends the Luchko-Gorenflo representation formula to a general clas…

It is shown that the attractor of an autonomous Caputo fractional differential equation of order $α\in(0,1)$ in $\mathbb{R}^d$ whose vector field has a certain triangular structure and satisfies a smooth condition and dissipativity condition is essentially the same as that of the ordinary differential equation with the same vector field. As an application, we establish several one-parameter bifurcations for scalar fractional differential equations including the saddle-node and the pichfork bifurcations. The proof uses a result of "N. In this paper, we present some results for existence of global solutions and attractivity for mulidimensional fractional differential equations involving Riemann-Liouville derivative. First, by using a Bielecki type norm and Banach fixed point theorem, we prove a Picard-Lindelöf type theorem on the existence and uniqueness of solutions. Then, applying the properties of Mittag-Leffler functions, we describe the attractivity of solutions to some classes of Riemann--Liouville linear fractional differential systems.
In this paper we study linear and nonlinear fractional differential equations involving the Caputo fractional derivative with Mittag-Leffler non-singular kernel of order $0<α<1.$ We first obtain a new estimate of the fractional derivative of a function at its extreme points and derive a necessary condition for the existence of a solution to the linear fractional equation. The obtained sufficient condition determine the initial condition of the associated fractional initial value problem. We then derive comparison principles to the linear fractional equations. The author (Bull. Math. Anal. App. 6(4)(2014):1-15), introduced a new fractional derivative, \[{}^ρ\mathcal{D}_a^αf (x) = \frac{ρ^{α-n+1}}{Γ({n-α})} \, \bigg(x^{1-ρ} \,\frac{d}{dx}\bigg)^n \int^x_a \frac{τ^{ρ-1} f(τ)}{(x^ρ- τ^ρ)^{α-n+1}}\, dτ\] which generalizes two familiar fractional derivatives, namely, the Riemann-Liouville and the Hadamard fractional derivatives to a single form. In this paper, we derive the existence and uniqueness results for a generalized fractional differential equation governed by the fractional derivative in question.
A recent development in the theory of fractional differential equations with variable coefficients has been a method for obtaining an exact solution in the form of an infinite series involving nested fractional integral operators. This solution representation is constructive but difficult to calculate in practice. Here we show a new representation of the solution function, as a convergent series of single fractional integrals, which will be easier to use for computational work and applications. In the particular case of constant coefficients, the solution is given in terms of the Mittag-Leffle…
In this paper, we give a criterion on instability of an equilibrium of nonlinear Caputo fractional differential systems. More precisely, we prove that if the spectrum of the linearization has at least one eigenvalue in the sector $$\left\{λ\in\C\setminus\{0\}:|\arg{(λ)}|<\frac{απ}{2}\right\},$$ where $α\in (0,1)$ is the order of the fractional differential systems, then the equilibrium of the nonlinear systems is unstable.
We give a necessary and sufficient condition for a system of linear inhomogeneous fractional differential equations to have at least one bounded solution. We also obtain an explicit description for the set of all bounded (or decay) solutions for these systems.
