We present a detailed investigation of the topological phases and Majorana fermion (MF) excitations that arise from the bulk interplay between (un)conventional one/two-band spin-singlet superconductivity and a number of magnetic texture crystals. The latter define inhomogeneous magnetization profiles which consist of a periodically-repeating primitive cell. Here we focus on magnetic texture crystals with a primitive cell of the helix, whirl, and skyrmion types, which feature distinct symmetry properties. We identify a multitude of accessible topological phases which harbor flat, uni- or bi-directional, (quasi-)helical, or chiral MF edge modes. This rich variety originates from the interplay between topological phases with gapped and nodal bulk energy spectra. The types of the emerging topological superconducting phases and the features of the arising MFs are solely determined by the properties and compatibility of the so-called magnetic and pairing point/space groups. Our analysis is general and does not rely on specific parameters of the models employed here to exemplify the topological scenarios which become accessible. Therefore, our results can be extended to systems with multiple bands, are relevant for a wide range of layered materials and hybrid devices, and provide predictions for strong, weak and crystalline topological phases.
A mechanism of d_{x^2-y^2}-wave superconductivity is proposed for the high-T_c cuprates based on a spin texture with non-zero topological density induced by doped holes through Zhang-Rice singlet formation. The pairing interaction arises from the magnetic Lorentz force like interaction between the holes and the spin textures. The stability of the pairing state against the vortex-vortex interaction and the Coulomb repulsion is examined. The mechanism suggests appearance of a p-wave pairing component by introducing anisotropy in the CuO_2 plane.
75As NMR experiments were performed in Ba(Fe1-xRux)2As2 for x=0 to 80%. Magnetic fractions and NMR lineshapes demonstrate that Ru substitution destroys the antiferromagnetic (AF) order inhomogeneously with a magnetic moment distributed from 0.9 to 0 uB. Superconductivity emerges at intermediate Ru doping and coexists with AF order only in the regions where moments are smaller than ~0.3uB, resulting in an original nanoscale texture. This situation contrasts with that of Co substitution, challenging the apparent universality of the phase diagram in Fe-based superconductors.

Crystalline two-dimensional (2D) superconductors with low carrier density are an exciting new class of materials in which superconductivity coexists with strong interactions, the effects of complex topology are not obscured by disorder, and electronic properties can be strongly tuned by electrostatic gating. Very recently, two such materials, 'magic-angle' twisted bilayer graphene and monolayer $T_d$-WTe$_2$, have been reported to show superconductivity at temperatures near 1 K. Here we report superconductivity in semimetallic monolayer $T_d$-MoTe$_2$. The critical temperature $T_\textrm{c}$ r…

Self-organized regular patterns are ubiquitous in nature, and one of their most celebrated manifestations is the Abrikosov vortex lattice: under an applied magnetic field, the homogeneous superconductivity becomes unstable and cast itself into a regular texture of the "normal" filaments, called Abrikosov vortices, immersed into a superconducting matrix. Its prediction and the experimental discovery became a breakthrough in our understanding of superconductivity and founded a new direction in physics. Here we show that the interplay between the superconducting order parameter and elastic fields…
We propose a mechanism for opening a full bulk energy gap and inducing vortex Majorana zero modes (MZMs) in nodal superconductors (SCs). We show that this becomes possible by coupling the nodal SC of interest to a magnetic texture crystal. The latter consists of superpositions of magnetic textures which repeat periodically in space according to suitable wave vectors that enable spin-flip scattering between all pairs of nodes of the SC, and thus open a full gap in its bulk energy spectrum. In this event, MZMs can be trapped in spin or shift vortices introduced in the magnetic texture crystal. O…
Majorana bound states are zero-energy states predicted to emerge in topological superconductors and intense efforts seeking a definitive proof of their observation are still ongoing. A standard route to realize them involves antagonistic orders: a superconductor in proximity to a ferromagnet. Here we show this issue can be resolved using antiferromagnetic rather than ferromagnetic order. We propose to use a chain of antiferromagnetic skyrmions, in an otherwise collinear antiferromagnet, coupled to a bulk conventional superconductor as a novel platform capable of supporting Majorana bound state…
Recently a new family of Cr-based A2Cr3As3 (A = K, Rb, Cs) superconductors were reported, which own a rare quasi-one-dimensional (Q1D) crystal structure with infinite (Cr3As3)2- chains and exhibit intriguing superconducting characteristics possibly derived from spin-triplet electron pairing. The crystal structure of A2Cr3As3 is actually a slight variation of the hexagonal TlFe3Te3 prototype although they have different lattice symmetry. Here we report superconductivity in a 133-type KCr3As3 compound that belongs to the latter structure. The single crystals of KCr3As3 were prepared by the deint…
Here we report the preparation and superconductivity of the 133-type Cr-based quasi-one-dimensional (Q1D) RbCr3As3 single crystals. The samples were prepared by the deintercalation of Rb+ ions from the 233-type Rb2Cr3As3 crystals which were grown from a high-temperature solution growth method. The RbCr3As3 compound crystallizes in a centrosymmetric structure with the space group of P63/m (No. 176) different with its non-centrosymmetric Rb2Cr3As3 superconducting precursor, and the refined lattice parameters are a = 9.373(3) Å and c = 4.203(7) Å. Electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibilit…
A bulk superconductor possessing a topological surface state at the Fermi level is a promising system to realize long-sought topological superconductivity. Although several candidate materials have been proposed, experimental demonstrations concurrently exploring spin textures and superconductivity at the surface have remained elusive. Here we perform spectroscopic-imaging scanning tunnelling microscopy on the centrosymmetric superconductor $β$-PdBi$_2$ that hosts a topological surface state. By combining first-principles electronic-structure calculations and quasiparticle interference experim…
Proximitizing magnetic textures and $s$-wave superconductors is becoming a platform for engineering topological superconductivity and Majorana fermions by the means of exchange processes. However, the consequences of orbital effects have not yet been fully taken into account. In this work, we investigate the magnetic skyrmion texture-induced orbital effects using a Ginzburg-Landau approach and clarify the conditions under which they can induce superconducting vortices. These orbital effects are then included in Bogoliubov-De-Gennes theory containing the exchange interaction, as well as superco…

Layered transition-metal dichalcogenides 1T-TaS2-xSex (0<=x<=2) single crystals have been successfully fabricated by using a chemical vapor transport technique in which Ta locates in octahedral coordination with S and Se atoms. This is the first superconducting example by the substitution of S site, which violates an initial rule based on the fact that superconductivity merely emerges in 1T-TaS2 by applying the high pressure or substitution of Ta site. We demonstrate the appearance of a series of electronic states in 1T-TaS2-xSex with Se content. Namely, the Mott phase melts into a nearly comm…
Polycrystalline La$_{7}$Ir$_{3}$ is reported to show superconductivity breaking time-reversal symmetry while also having an isotropic $s$-wave gap. Single crystals of this noncentrosymmetric superconductor are highly desirable to understand the nature of the electron pairing mechanism in this system. Here we report the growth of high-quality single crystals of La$_{7}$Ir$_{3}$ by the Czochralski method. The structural and superconducting properties of these large crystals have been investigated using x-rays, magnetization, resistivity and heat capacity measurements. We observe a clear anisotro…
Superconducting topological crystalline insulators (TCI) are predicted to host new topological phases protected by crystalline symmetries, but available materials are insufficiently suitable for surface studies. To induce superconductivity at the surface of a prototypical TCI SnTe, we use molecular beam epitaxy to grow a heterostructure of SnTe and a high-Tc superconductor Fe(Te,Se), utilizing a 'buffer' layer to bridge the large lattice mismatch between SnTe and Fe(Te,Se). Using low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy, we measure a prominent spectral gap on the surface …
We studied the correlation among structure and transport properties and superconductivity in the different $A_x$Fe$_2$Se$_2$ single crystals ($A$ = K, Rb, and Cs). Two sets of (00$l$) reflections are observed in the X-ray single crystal diffraction patterns, and arise from the intrinsic inhomogeneous distribution of the intercalated alkali atoms. The occurrence of superconductivity is closely related to the {\sl c}-axis lattice constant, and the $A$ content is crucial to superconductivity. The hump observed in resistivity seems to be irrelevant to superconductivity. There exist many deficienci…
The theory of paramagnetic limit of superconductivity in metals without inversion center is developed. There is in general the paramagnetic suppression of superconducting state. The effect is strongly dependent on field orientation in respect to crystal axes. The reason for this is that the degeneracy of electronic states with opposite momenta forming of Cooper pairs is lifted by magnetic field but for some field directions this lifting can be small or even absent.
Single crystals of undoped CaFe2As2 were grown by a FeAs self-flux method, and the crystals were quenched in ice-water rapidly after high temperature growth. The quenched crystal undergoes a collapsed tetragonal structural phase transition around 80 K revealed by the temperature dependent X-ray diffraction measurements. Superconductivity below 25 K was observed in the collapsed phase by resistivity and magnetization measurements. The isothermal magnetization curve measured at 2 K indicates that this is a typical type-II superconductor. For comparison, we systematically characterized the proper…
We study the structural and bulk superconducting properties of self flux grown PdBi2Te3 single crystal. Phase purity of as grown crystal is confirmed by Rietveld refinement of gently crushed powder XRD of the same. PdBi2Te3 crystallizes in rhombohedral structure with R-3 m space group along with small impurity of Bi. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) images showed layered structure and the elemental analysis by energy dispersive X Ray analysis (EDAX) done on same confirmed the stoichiometry to be near to PdBi2Te3. Characteristic vibrational modes viz. A11g, Eg2, A21g are clearly observed in R…
In order to investigate whether magnetism and superconductivity coexist in Co-doped SrFe$_2$As$_2$, we have prepared single crystals of SrFe$_{2-x}$Co$_x$As$_2$, $x$ = 0 and 0.4, and characterized them via X-ray diffraction, electrical resistivity in zero and applied field up to 9 T as well as at ambient and applied pressure up to 1.6 GPa, and magnetic susceptibility. At $x$ = 0.4, there is both magnetic and resistive evidence for a spin density wave transition at 120 K, while $T_c$ = 19.5 K - indicating coexistent magnetism and superconductivity. A discussion of how these results compare with…
Kagome lattice offers unique opportunities for the exploration of unusual quantum states of correlated electrons. Here, we report on the observation of superconductivity in a kagome single crystal Pd3P2S8 when a semiconducting to metallic transition is driven by pressure. High-pressure resistance measurements show that the metallization and superconductivity are simultaneously observed at about 11 GPa. With increasing pressure, the superconducting critical temperature Tc is monotonously enhanced from 2.6 K to a maximum 7.7 K at ~52 GPa. Interestingly, superconductivity retains when the pressur…
A central theme in many body physics is emergence - new properties arise when several particles are brought together. Particularly fascinating is the idea that the quantum statistics may be an emergent property. This was first noted in the Skyrme model of nuclear matter, where a theory formulated entirely in terms of a bosonic order parameter field contains fermionic excitations. These excitations are smooth field textures, and believed to describe neutrons and protons. We argue that a similar phenomenon occurs in topological insulators when superconductivity gaps out their surface states. Her…
We have studied the remanent magnetic flux distribution in bulk melt-textured YBa2Cu3O7 (YBCO) crystals after their magnetization in quasi-static and pulsed magnetic fields up to 6T. It has been shown that, provided that the magnetic pulse is sharp enough and its amplitude much exceeds the twice penetration magnetic field, the pulse magnetization technique becomes extremely sensitive to the sample inhomogeneities. Using this method with appropriate parameters of the magnetic pulse, we have particularly demonstrated that the growth of YBCO crystals in the growth sectors (GSs) responds for a mac…
We have studied the intrinsic normal and superconducting properties of the oxypnictide LaFePO. These samples exhibit bulk superconductivity and the evidence suggests that stoichiometric LaFePO is indeed superconducting, in contrast to other reports. We find that superconductivity is independent of the interplane residual resistivity $ρ_0$ and discuss the implications of this on the nature of the superconducting order parameter. Finally we find that, unlike $T_c$, other properties in single-crystal LaFePO including the resistivity and magnetoresistance, can be very sensitive to disorder.
We report pressure-induced superconductivity in a single crystal of CaFe2As2. At atmospheric pressure, this material is antiferromagnetic below 170 K but under an applied pressure of 0.69 GPa becomes superconducting, with a transition temperature Tc exceeding 10 K. The rate of Tc suppression with applied magnetic field is -0.7 K/T, giving an extrapolated zero-temperature upper critical field of 10-14T.
Here we report bulk superconductivity in BaFe1.8Co0.2As2 single crystals below Tc = 22 K, as demonstrated by resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat data. Hall data indicate that the dominant carriers are electrons, as expected from simple chemical reasoning. This is the first example of superconductivity induced by electron doping in this family of materials. In contrast to the cuprates, the BaFe2As2 system appears to tolerate considerable disorder in the FeAs planes. First principles calculations for BaFe1.8Co0.2As2 indicate the inter-band scattering due to Co is weak.
We use c-axis resistivity and magnetoresistance measurements to study the interplay between antiferromagnetic (AF) and superconducting (SC) ordering in underdoped RBa_2Cu_3O_{6+x} (R = Lu, Y) single crystals. Both orders are found to emerge from an anisotropic 3D metallic state, upon which antiferromagnetism opposes superconductivity by driving the doped holes towards localization. Despite the competition, the superconductivity sets in before the AF order is completely destroyed and coexists with latter in a certain range of hole doping. We find also that strong magnetic fields affect the AF-S…
Superconductivity was discovered in a Ni0:05TaS2 single crystal. A Ni0:05TaS2 single crystal was successfully grown via the NaCl/KCl flux method. The obtained lattice constant c of Ni0:05TaS2 is 1.1999 nm, which is significantly smaller than that of 2H-TaS2 (1.208 nm). Electrical resistivity and magnetization measurements reveal that the superconductivity transition temperature of Ni0:05TaS2 is enhanced from 0.8 K (2H-TaS2) to 3.9 K. The charge-density-wave transition of the matrix compound 2H-TaS2 is suppressed in Ni0:05TaS2. The success of Ni0:05TaS2 single crystal growth via a NaCl/KCl flux…
Single crystals of SrFe2-xPtxAs2 (0 < x < 0.36) were grown using the self flux solution method and characterized using x-ray crystallography, electrical transport, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat measurements. The magnetic/structural transition is suppressed with increasing Pt concentration, with superconductivity seen over the range 0.08 < x < 0.36 with a maximum transition temperature Tc of 16 K at x = 0.16. The shape of the phase diagram and the changes to the lattice parameters are similar to the effects of other group VIII elements Ni and Pd, however the higher transition tempe…
We have successfully grown single crystalline NaFeAs with cobalt or phosphor doping. Bulk superconductivity occurs in NaFe$_{0.95}$Co$_{0.05}$As at 19 K while much higher transition temperature is observed in NaFeAs$_{0.8}$P$_{0.2}$, in which the Tc of 33 K is even higher than the highest value realized by applying pressure in NaFeAs and all other isoelectronic element substituted samples. We discuss these behaviours by comparison with 122 and 1111 systems. We hope that our findings will help improve our understanding of iron-based superconductivity.
The crystal structure and physical properties of BaFe2As2, BaCo2As2, and BaNi2As2 single crystals are surveyed. BaFe2As2 gives a magnetic and structural transition at TN = 132(1) K, BaCo2As2 is a paramagnetic metal, while BaNi2As2 has a structural phase transition at T0 = 131 K, followed by superconductivity below Tc = 0.69 K. The bulk superconductivity in Co-doped BaFe2As2 below Tc = 22 K is demonstrated by resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat data. In contrast to the cuprates, the Fe-based system appears to tolerate considerable disorder in the transition metal layers. Fir…
We measure the superconducting transition of YIn$_3$ by resistivity, susceptibility, and specific heat. Despite using high-quality single-crystal samples, the transitions detected by the three techniques are shifted from each other in temperature, suggesting a region of filamentary superconductivity. We discuss the possible implications for filamentary superconductivity in unconventional superconductors.
Despite growing interest in them, highly crystalline two-dimensional superconductors derived from exfoliated layered materials are few. Employing the anisotropic Migdal-Eliashberg formalism based on {\it ab initio} calculations, we find monolayer NiTe$_{2}$ to be an intrinsic superconductor with a $T_{\text c}\sim$5.7~K, although the bulk crystal is not known to superconduct. Remarkably, bilayer NiTe$_{2}$ intercalated with lithium is found to display two-gap superconductivity with a critical temperature $T_{\text{c}}\sim 11.3$~K and superconducting gap of $\sim$3.1~meV, arising from a synergy…
Topological crystalline insulators represent a new state of matter, in which the electronic transport is governed by mirror-symmetry protected Dirac surface states. Due to the helical spin-polarization of these surface states, the proximity of topological crystalline matter to a nearby superconductor is predicted to induce unconventional superconductivity and thus to host Majorana physics. We report on the preparation and characterization of Nb-based superconducting quantum interference devices patterned on top of topological crystalline insulator SnTe thin films. The SnTe films show weak anti…
The electrical resistivity ρ(T) and heat capacity C(T) on single crystals of SrNi2As2 and EuNi2As2 are reported. While there is no evidence for a structural transition in either compound, SrNi2As2 is found to be a bulk superconductor at T_c=0.62 K with a Sommerfeld coefficient of γ= 8.7 mJ/mol K^2 and a small upper critical field H_{c2} \sim 200 Oe. No superconductivity was found in EuNi2As2 above 0.4 K, but anomalies in ρand C reveal that magnetic order associated with the Eu^{2+} magnetic moments occurs at T_m = 14 K.
We have successfully grown the single crystal of a low carrier density system Y$_3$Ru$_4$Ge$_{13}$ which crystallizes in the cubic crystal structure with the space group Pm3n. Y$_3$Ru$_4$Ge$_{13}$ exhibits super conductivity below 2.85 K as determined from the electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility and heat capacity measurements. The bulk measurements indicate multiband superconductivity in this low carrier system. Hall effect measurements show that the Hall coefficient R$_H$ is positive and it decreases rapidly with temperature which is highly unusual. The simple estimation of the ca…
Bismuth displays puzzling superconducting properties. In its crystalline equilibrium phase, it does not seem to superconduct at accessible low temperatures. However, in the amorphous phase it displays superconductivity at ~ 6 K. Under pressure bismuth has been found to superconduct at Tcs that go from 3.9 K to 8.5 K depending on the phase obtained. So the question is: what electronic or vibrational changes occur that explains this radical transformation in the conducting behavior of this material? In a recent publication we argue that changes in the density of electronic and vibrational states…
A connection between creation of toroidal moments and breaking of the relativistic crystalline group associated to a given crystal, is presented in this paper. Indeed, if magnetoelectric effects exist, the interaction between electrons and elementary magnetic cells appears in such a way that the resulting local polarization and magnetization break the local relativistic crystalline symmetry. Therefore, Goldstone bosons, also associated to toroidal moments, are created and, as a consequence, corresponding toroidal phases in crystals. The list of the Shubnikov groups compatible with this kind of…
Recent experimental investigations of arrays of magnetic atoms deposited on top of a superconductor have opened a new chapter in the search of topological superconductivity. We generalize the microscopic model derived by Pientka et al. [Phys. Rev. B \textbf{88}, 155420 (2013)] to accommodate the effects of finite supercurrent in the host material. Previously it was discovered that helical chains with nonplanar textures are plagued by a gapless phase. We show that by employing supercurrent it is possible to tune the chain from the gapless phase to the topological gapped phase. It is also possib…
We present evidence of type-I superconductivity in single crystals of ScGa3 and LuGa3, from magnetization, specific heat, and resistivity measurements: low critical temperatures Tc = 2.1-2.2 K; field-induced secondto first-order phase transition in the specific heat, critical fields less than 240 Oe; and low Ginzburg-Landau coefficients κ approx 0.23 and 0.30 for ScGa3 and LuGa3, respectively, are all traits of a type-I superconducting ground state. These observations render ScGa3 and LuGa3 two of only several type-I superconducting compounds, with most other superconductors being type II (com…
We report on transport properties of the topological insulator single crystal $Sb2Te3$ nanoflakes with thickness about from 7 to 50nm. A steep drop of resistance is appeared near $3K$ in the ultrathin $Sb2Te3$ nanoflakes, manifesting a superconducting transition. The magnetic field induced superconductor insulator transition of disordered 2D superconductor system is observed in the nanoflakes. The results show that the existence of certain optimum degree of disorder is a necessary condition for emergence of superconductivity.Temperature dependence of magneto-resistance shows a consecutive transf…
We have successfully observed quantum oscillation (QO) for FeTe_{1-x}Se_{x}. QO measurements were performed using non-superconducting and superconducting thin crystals of FeTe_{0.65}Se_{0.35} fabricated by the scotch-tape method. We show that the Fermi surfaces (FS) of the non-superconducting crystal are in good agreement with the rigid band shift model based on electron doping by excess Fe while that of the superconducting crystal is in good agreement with the calculated FS with no shift. From the FS comparison of both crystals, we demonstrate the change of the cross-sectional area of the FS,…
We propose that periodic driving can stabilize a new type of order, "period-doubled superconductivity", in which a superconducting order parameter oscillates at half the frequency of the drive. Despite having a zero time-averaged order parameter, the ordered state exhibits perfect conductivity and a Meissner effect. Our theory predicts that this phase may be realized as the steady state of materials shown to exhibit photo-induced superconductivity. We propose to detect the period-doubled oscillation of the order parameter by utilizing a Josephson junction between a photo-induced superconductor…
We review magnetic, superconducting and non-Fermi-liquid properties of the structurally layered heavy-fermion compounds Ce$_n$M$_m$In$_{3n+2m}$ (M=Co, Rh, Ir). These properties suggest d-wave superconductivity and proximity to an antiferromagetic quantum-critical point.
The results of inelastic neutron scattering provide a solution for the crystal field level scheme in PrOs4Sb12 in which the ground state in the cubic crystal field potential of Th symmetry is a Gamma_1 singlet. The conduction electron mass enhancement is consistent with inelastic exchange scattering, and we propose that inelastic quadrupolar, or aspherical Coulomb, scattering is responsible for enhancing the superconducting transition temperature. PrOs4Sb12 appears to be the first compound in which aspherical Coulomb scattering is strong enough to overcome magnetic pair-breaking and increase T…
Single crystals of the compound LaFePO were prepared using a flux growth technique at high temperatures. Electrical resistivity measurements reveal metallic behavior and a resistive transition to the superconducting state at a critical temperature T_c ~ 6.6 K. Magnetization measurements also show the onset of superconductivity near 6 K. In contrast, specific heat measurements manifest no discontinuity at T_c. These results lend support to the conclusion that the superconductivity is associated with oxygen vacancies that alter the carrier concentration in a small fraction of the sample, althoug…
The coupling between superconductivity and othorhombic distortion is studied in vapor-grown FeSe single crystals using high-resolution thermal-expansion measurements. In contrast to the Ba122-based (Ba122) superconductors, we find that superconductivity does not reduce the orthorhombicity below Tc. Instead we find that superconductivity couples strongly to the in-plane area, which explains the large hydrostatic pressure effects. We discuss our results in light of the spinnematic scenario and argue that FeSe has many features quite different from the typical Fe-based superconductors.
We systematically studied the transport properties of single crystals of $Eu_{1-x}Sr_xFe_{2-y}$Co$_{y}As_2$. Co doping can suppress the spin-density wave (SDW) ordering and induces a superconducting transition, but a resistivity reentrance due to the antiferromagnetic ordering of $Eu^{2+}$ spins is observed, indicating the competition between antiferromagnetism (AFM) and superconductivity. It is striking that the resistivity reentrance can be completely suppressed by external magnetic field (H) because a metamagnetic transition from antiferromagnetism to ferromagnetism for $Eu^{2+}$ spins is i…
The nature of spin-density wave and its relation with superconductivity are crucial issues in the newly discovered Fe-based high temperature superconductors. Particularly it is unclear whether the superconducting phase and spin density wave (SDW) are truly exclusive from each other as suggested by certain experiments. With angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy, we here report exchange splittings of the band structures in Sr1-xKxFe2As2 (x=0,0.1,0.2), and the non-rigid-band behaviors of the splitting. Our data on single crystalline superconducting samples unambiguously prove that SDW and sup…
Superatomic crystals are composed of discrete modular clusters that emulate the role of atoms in traditional atomic solids$^{1-4}$. Owing to their unique hierarchical structures, these materials are promising candidates to host exotic phenomena, such as superconductivity and magnetism that can be revealed through doping$^{5-10}$. Low-dimensional superatomic crystals hold great promise as electronic components$^{11,12}$, enabling these properties to be applied to nanocircuits, but the impact of doping in such compounds remains unexplored. Here we report the electrical transport properties of Re…
We investigated the S-doping-driven phase transition from antiferromagnetic to superconducting in FeTe1-xSx single crystals. The partial substitution of Te by S suppresses antiferromagnetism in Fe-square lattice. Superconductivity is induced by oxygen annealing for only FeTe1-xSx in which the long-range magnetic ordering is suppressed. To realize superconductivity in FeTe1-xSx, both S concentration enough to suppress antiferromagnetism and oxygen annealing are required. Anisotropy of superconductivity in oxygen-annealed FeTe0.886S0.114 was estimated to be 1.17.
