We prove rigidity type results on the vanishing of stable (co)homology for modules of finite complete intersection dimension, results which generalize and improve upon known results. We also introduce a notion of pre-rigidity, which generalizes phenomena for modules of finite complete intersection dimension and complexity one. Using this concept, we prove results on length and vanishing of homology modules.

We study in detail the so-called Chow-weight homology of Voevodsky motivic complexes and relate it to motivic homology. We generalize earlier results and prove that the vanishing of higher motivic homology groups of a motif $M$ implies similar vanishing for its Chow-weight homology along with effectivity properties of the higher terms of its weight complex $t(M)$ and of higher Deligne weight quotients of its cohomology. We compute the $\mathbb{A}^1$-localization of several invariants of schemes namely, topological Hochschild homology ($\mathrm{THH}$), topological cyclic homology ($\mathrm{TC}$) and topological periodic cyclic homology ($\mathrm{TP}$). This procedure is quite brutal and kills the completed versions of most of these invariants. The main ingredient for the vanishing statements is the vanishing of $\mathbb{A}^1$-localization of de Rham cohomology (and, eventually, crystalline cohomology) in positive characteristics.

We develop an Eilenberg-Moore spectral sequence to compute Bredon cohomology of spaces with an action of a group given as a pullback. Using several other spectral sequences, and positive results on the Baum-Connes Conjecture, we are able to compute Equivariant K-theory and K-Homology of the reduced group C*-algebra of a 6-dimensional crystallographic group $Γ$ introduced by Vafa and Witten. We also use positive results on the Farrell-Jones Conjecture to give a vanishing result for the negative algebraic K-theory of the integral group ring of $Γ$.

We study some aspects of the relationship between A^1-homotopy theory and birational geometry. We study the so-called A^1-singular chain complex and zeroth A^1-homology sheaf of smooth algebraic varieties over a field k.
