Double (quasi-)Poisson algebras were introduced by Van den Bergh as non-commutative analogues of algebras endowed with a (quasi-)Poisson bracket. In this work, we provide a study of morphisms of double (quasi-)Poisson algebras, which we relate to the $H_0$-Poisson structures of Crawley-Boevey. We prove in particular that the double (quasi-)Poisson algebra structure defined by Van den Bergh for an arbitrary quiver only depends upon the quiver seen as an undirected graph, up to isomorphism. We derive from our results a representation theoretic description of action-angle duality for several classical integrable systems.
We prove the existence of a deformation quantization for integrable Poisson structures on R^3 and give a generalization for a special class of three dimensional manifolds.
The relations between integrable Poisson algebras with three generators and two-dimensional manifolds are investigated. Poisson algebraic maps are also discussed.
We recall the construction of the Kontsevich graph orientation morphism $γ\mapsto {\rm O\vec{r}}(γ)$ which maps cocycles $γ$ in the non-oriented graph complex to infinitesimal symmetries $\dot{\mathcal{P}} = {\rm O\vec{r}}(γ)(\mathcal{P})$ of Poisson bi-vectors on affine manifolds. We reveal in particular why there always exists a factorization of the Poisson cocycle condition $[\![\mathcal{P},{\rm O\vec{r}}(γ)(\mathcal{P})]\!] \doteq 0$ through the differential consequences of the Jacobi identity $[\![\mathcal{P},\mathcal{P}]\!]=0$ for Poisson bi-vectors $\mathcal{P}$. To illustrate the reaso…
Spectral transformation is known to set up a birational morphism between the Hitchin and Beauville-Mukai integrable systems. The corresponding phase spaces are: (a) the cotangent bundle of the moduli space of bundles over a curve C, and (b) a symmetric power of the cotangent surface T^*(C). We conjecture that this morphism can be quantized, and we check this conjecture in the case where C is a rational curve with marked points and rank 2 bundles. We discuss the relation of the resulting isomorphism of quantized algebras with Sklyanin's separation of variables.
We introduce the cluster algebraic formulation of the integrable difference equations, the discrete Lotka-Volterra equation and the discrete Liouville equation, from the view point of the general T-system and Y-system. We also study the Poisson structure for the cluster algebra, and give the associated Poisson bracket for the two difference equations.
We provide an explicit description of symplectic leaves of a simply connected connected semisimple complex Lie group equipped with the standard Poisson-Lie structure. This sharpens previously known descriptions of the symplectic leaves as connected components of certain varieties. Our main tool is the machinery of twisted generalized minors. They also allow us to present several quasi-commuting coordinate systems on every symplectic leaf. As a consequence, we construct new completely integrable systems on some special symplectic leaves.
The canonical structure of classical non-linear sigma models on Riemannian symmetric spaces, which constitute the most general class of classical non-linear sigma models known to be integrable, is shown to be governed by a fundamental Poisson bracket relation that fits into the $r$-$s$-matrix formalism for non-ultralocal integrable models first discussed by Maillet. The matrices $r$ and $s$ are computed explicitly and, being field dependent, satisfy fundamental Poisson bracket relations of their own, which can be expressed in terms of a new numerical matrix~$c$. It is proposed that all these P…
We consider a class of map, recently derived in the context of cluster mutation. In this paper we start with a brief review of the quiver context, but then move onto a discussion of a related Poisson bracket, along with the Poisson algebra of a special family of functions associated with these maps. A bi-Hamiltonian structure is derived and used to construct a sequence of Poisson commuting functions and hence show complete integrability. Canonical coordinates are derived, with the map now being a canonical transformation with a sequence of commuting invariant functions. Compatibility of a pair…
We discuss the role of Poisson-Nijenhuis geometry in the definition of multiplicative integrable models on symplectic groupoids. These are integrable models that are compatible with the groupoid structure in such a way that the set of contour levels of the hamiltonians in involution inherits a topological groupoid structure. We show that every maximal rank PN structure defines such a model. We consider the examples defined on compact hermitian symmetric spaces and studied in [arXiv:1503.07339].
The orientation morphism $Or(\cdot)(P)\colon γ\mapsto\dot{P}$ associates differential-polynomial flows $\dot{P}=Q(P)$ on spaces of bi-vectors $P$ on finite-dimensional affine manifolds $N^d$ with (sums of) finite unoriented graphs $γ$ with ordered sets of edges and without multiple edges and one-cycles. It is known that $d$-cocycles $\boldsymbolγ\in\ker d$ with respect to the vertex-expanding differential $d=[{\bullet}\!\!{-}\!{-}\!\!{\bullet},\cdot]$ are mapped by $Or$ to Poisson cocycles $Q(P)\in\ker\,[\![ P,{\cdot}]\!]$, that is, to infinitesimal symmetries of Poisson bi-vectors $P$. The fo…
We consider nonlinear recurrences generated from cluster mutations applied to quivers that have the property of being cluster mutation-periodic with period 1. Such quivers were completely classified by Fordy and Marsh, who characterised them in terms of the skew-symmetric matrix that defines the quiver. The associated nonlinear recurrences are equivalent to birational maps, and we explain how these maps can be endowed with an invariant Poisson bracket and/or presymplectic structure. Upon applying the algebraic entropy test, we are led to a series of conjectures which imply that the entropy of …
In this paper we propose a reduction scheme for multivector fields phrased in terms of $L_\infty$-morphisms. Using well-know geometric properties of the reduced manifolds we perform a Taylor expansion of multivector fields, which allows us to built up a suitable deformation retract of DGLA's. We first obtained an explicit formula for the $L_\infty$-Projection and -Inclusion of generic DGLA retracts. We then applied this formula to the deformation retract that we constructed in the case of multivector fields on reduced manifolds. This allows us to obtain the desired reduction $L_\infty$-morphis…
We introduce spin Calogero-Moser systems associated with root systems of simple Lie algebras and give the associated Lax representations (with spectral parameter) and fundamental Poisson bracket relations. The associated integrable models (called integrable spin Calogero-Moser systems in the paper) and their Lax pairs are then obtained via Poisson reduction and gauge transformations. For Lie algebras of $A_{n}$-type, this new class of integrable systems includes the usual Calogero-Moser systems as subsystems. Our method is guided by a general framework which we develop here using dynamical Lie…
We present the analogue, for an arbitrary complex reductive group G, of the elliptic integrable systems of Sklyanin. The Sklyanin integrable systems were originally constructed on symplectic leaves, of a quadratic Poisson structure, on a loop group of type A. The phase space, of our integrable systems, is a group-like analogue of the Hitchin system over an elliptic curve E. We consider the moduli space of pairs (P,f), where P is a principal G-bundle on E, and f is a meromorphic section of the adjoint group bundle. We show: 1) The moduli space admits an algebraic Poisson structure. It is relate…
The matrix affine Poisson space (M_{m,n}, pi_{m,n}) is the space of complex rectangular matrices equipped with a canonical quadratic Poisson structure which in the square case m=n reduces to the standard Poisson structure on GL_n(C). We prove that the Hamiltonian flows of all minors are complete. As a corollary we obtain that all Kogan-Zelevinsky integrable systems on M_{n,n} are complete and thus induce (analytic) Hamiltonian actions of C^{n(n-1)/2} on (M_{n,n}, pi_{n,n}) (as well as on GL_n(C) and on SL_n(C)). We define Gelfand-Zeitlin integrable systems on (M_{n,n}, pi_{n,n}) from chains of…
We give an exposition of graded and microformal geometry, and the language of $Q$-manifolds. $Q$-manifolds are supermanifolds endowed with an odd vector field of square zero. They can be seen as a non-linear analogue of Lie algebras (in parallel with even and odd Poisson manifolds), a basis of "non-linear homological algebra", and a powerful tool for describing algebraic and geometric structures. This language goes together with that of graded manifolds, which are supermanifolds with an extra $\mathbb{Z}$-grading in the structure sheaf. "Microformal geometry" is a new notion referring to "thic…
We construct a discrete quantum version of the Drinfeld-Sokolov correspondence for the sine-Gordon system. The classical version of this correspondence is a birational Poisson morphism between the phase space of the discrete sine-Gordon system and a Poisson homogeneous space. Under this correspondence, the commuting higher mKdV vector fields correspond to the action of an Abelian Lie algebra. We quantize this picture (1) by quantizing this Poisson homogeneous space, together with the action of the Abelian Lie algebra, (2) by quantizing the sine-Gordon phase space, (3) by computing the quantum …
In this paper we address the following question: is it always possible to choose a deformation quantization of a Poisson algebra A so that certain Poisson-commutative subalgebra C in it remains commutative? We define a series of cohomological obstructions to this, that take values in the Hochschild cohomology of C with coefficients in A. In some particular case of the pair (A,C) we reduce these classes to the classes of the Poisson relative cohomology of the Hochschild cohomology. We show, that in the case, when the algebra C is polynomial, these obstructions coincide with the previously known…
