We introduce the cluster algebraic formulation of the integrable difference equations, the discrete Lotka-Volterra equation and the discrete Liouville equation, from the view point of the general T-system and Y-system. We also study the Poisson structure for the cluster algebra, and give the associated Poisson bracket for the two difference equations.
In this note the notion of Poisson brackets in Kontsevich's "Lie World" is developed. These brackets can be thought of as "universally" defined classical Poisson structures, namely formal expressions only involving the structure maps of a quadratic Lie algebra. We prove a uniqueness statement about these Poisson brackets with a given moment map. As an application we get formulae for the linearization of the quasi-Poisson structure of the moduli space of flat connections on a punctured sphere, and thereby identify their symplectic leaves with the reduction of coadjoint orbits. Equivalently, we …
Poisson brackets admit infinitesimal symmetries which are encoded using oriented graphs; this construction is due to Kontsevich (1996). We formulate several open problems about combinatorial and topological properties of the graphs involved, about integrability and analytic properties of such symmetry flows (in particular, for known classes of Poisson brackets), and about cohomological, differential geometric, and quantum aspects of the theory. Keywords: Poisson bracket, Jacobi identity, infinitesimal symmetry, affine manifold, Poisson cohomology, graph complex.
We propose a non skew-symmetric generalization of the original definition of double Poisson Bracket by M. Van den Bergh. It allows one to explicitly construct more general class of H0-Poisson structures on finitely generated associative algebras. We show that modified double Poisson brackets inherit certain major properties of the double Poisson brackets.
We exhibit new examples of double quasi-Poisson brackets, based on some classification results and the method of fusion. This method was introduced by Van den Bergh for a large class of double quasi-Poisson brackets which are said differential, and our main result is that it can be extended to arbitrary double quasi-Poisson brackets. We also provide an alternative construction for the double quasi-Poisson brackets of Van den Bergh associated to quivers, and of Massuyeau-Turaev associated to the fundamental groups of surfaces.

A.A. Kirillov introduced the family algebras in 2000. In this paper we study the noncommutative Poisson bracket P on the classical family algebra. We show that P is the first-order deformation from the classical family algebra to the quantum family algebra. We will prove that the noncommutative Poisson bracket is in fact a Hochschild 2-coboundary therefore the deformation is infinitesimally trivial. In the last part of this paper we also talk about Mackey's analogue and the quantization problem of the family algebras.
Let $A$ be a Koszul (or more generally, $N$-Koszul) Calabi-Yau algebra. Inspired by the works of Kontsevich, Ginzburg and Van den Bergh, we show that there is a derived non-commutative Poisson structure on $A$, which induces a graded Lie algebra structure on the cyclic homology of $A$; moreover, we show that the Hochschild homology of $A$ is a Lie module over the cyclic homology and the Connes long exact sequence is in fact a sequence of Lie modules. Finally, we show that the Leibniz-Loday bracket associated to the derived non-commutative Poisson structure on $A$ is naturally mapped to the Ger…
Let $\boldsymbol{k}$ be a field of characteristic zero and $A=\boldsymbol{k}[x_{1},...,x_{n}]/I$ with $I=(f_{1},...,f_{k})$ be an affine algebra. We study Nambu-Poisson brackets on $A$ of arity $m\geq 2$, focusing on the case when $m$ is even. We construct an $L_{\infty}$-algebroid on the cotangent complex $\mathbb{L}_{A|\boldsymbol{k}}$, generalizing previous work on the case when $A$ is a Poisson algebra. This structure is referred to as the higher form brackets. The main tool is a $P_{\infty}$-structure on a resolvent $R$ of $A$. These $P_{\infty}$- and $L_{\infty}$-structures are merely $\…
