We identify the type of $\mathbb{C}[[\hbar]]$-linear structure inherent in the $\infty$-categories which arise in the theory of Deformation Quantization modules. Using this structure, we show that the $\infty$-category of quasicoherent cohomologically complete DQ-modules is a deformation of the $\infty$-category of quasicoherent sheaves. We also obtain integral representation results for DQ-modules similar to the ones of Toën and Ben-Zvi-Nadler-Francis, stating that suitably linear functors between $\infty$-categories of DQ-modules are integral transforms.
The aim of this Note is to specify the links between the three kinds of Lisbon integrals, trace functions and trace forms with the corresponding D--modules.
Stacks were introduced by Grothendieck and Giraud and are, roughly speaking, sheaves of categories. Kashiwara developed the theory of twisted modules, which are objects of stacks locally equivalent to stacks of modules over sheaves of rings. In this paper we recall these notions, and we develop the formalism of operations for stacks of twisted modules. As an application, we state a twisted version of an adjunction formula which is of use in the theory of integral transforms for sheaves and D-modules.
We define a map $\mathcal{P}_M$ attached to any polarized Hodge module $M$ such that the restriction of $\mathcal{P}_M$ to a locus on which $M$ is a variation of Hodge structures induces the usual period integral pairing for this variation of Hodge structures. In the case that $M$ is the minimal extension of a simple polarized variation of Hodge structures $V$, we show that the homotopy image of $\mathcal{P}_M$ is the minimal extension of the graph morphism of the usual period integral map for $V$.
We prove that the local height of a point on a Drinfeld module can be computed by averaging the logarithm of the distance to that point over the torsion points of the module. This gives rise to a Drinfeld module analog of a weak version of Siegel's integral points theorem over number fields and to an analog of a theorem of Schinzel's regarding the order of a point modulo certain primes.
We prove a surjectivity theorem for the Deligne canonical extension of a polarizable variation of Hodge structure with quasi-unipotent monodromy at infinity along the lines of Esnault-Viehweg. We deduce from it several injectivity theorems and vanishing theorems for pure Hodge modules. We also give an inductive proof of Kawamata-Viehweg vanishing for the lowest graded piece of the Hodge filtration of a pure Hodge module using mixed Hodge modules of nearby cycles.
The main focus of this paper is on determining the highest non-vanishing local cohomology modules of Ω_(B/R), Ω_(B/V)(Ω_(B/k)) where R is either a complete regular local ring or a complete local normal domain with coefficient ring V (field k) and B is its integral closure in an algebraic extension of Q(R). Similar problem is also studied over a normal domain R containing a field k of characteristic 0. In this connection new observations on the direct summand property for integral extensions are also presented.
This paper uses the theory of integral closure of modules to study the sections of both real and complex analytic spaces. The stratification conditions used are the (t^) conditions introduced by Thom and Trotman. Our results include a new simple proof showing how the (t^r) conditions improve under Grassman modification, and a characterization of the (t^r) conditions using the multiplicity of a submodule of the Jacobian module of the singularity. This gives numerical criteria for Verdier Equisingularity of families of sections of the space.
We prove a comparison theorem between the d-plane Radon transform and the Fourier-Laplace transform for D-modules. This generalizes results of Brylinski and d'Agnolo-Eastwood.
We study log D-modules on smooth log pairs and construct a comparison theorem of log de Rham complexes. The proof uses Sabbah's generalized b-functions. As applications, we deduce a log index theorem and a Riemann-Roch type formula for perverse sheaves on smooth quasi-projective varieties. The log index theorem naturally generalizes the Dubson-Kashiwara index theorem on smooth projective varieties.
One proves a Beilinson-Bernstein theorem in the context of arithmetic D-modules introduced by Berthelot, for flag varieties. This generalizes in the arithmetic context previous results of Brylinski-Kashiwara and Beilinson-Bernstein in the complex case.
Integral geometry deals with those integral transforms which associate to ``functions'' on a manifold their integrals along submanifolds parameterized by another manifold. Basic problems in this context are range characterization--where systems of PDE appear--and inversion formulae. As we pointed out in a series of joint papers with Pierre Schapira, the language of sheaves and D-modules provides both a natural framework and powerful tools for the study of such problems. In particular, it provides a general adjunction formula which is a sort of archetypical theorem in integral geometry. Focusin…
We generalize the Generic Vanishing theorem by Hacon and Patakfalvi in the spirit of Pareschi and Popa. We give several examples illustrating the pathologies appearing in the positive characteristic setting.
We introduce motivic analogues of p-adic exponential integrals. We prove a basic multiplicativity property from which we deduce a motivic analogue of the Thom-Sebastiani Theorem. In particular, we obtain a new proof of the Thom-Sebastiani Theorem for the Hodge spectrum of (non isolated) singularities of functions.
In this article, we consider minimal $L^2$ integrals on the sublevel sets of plurisubharmonic functions on weakly pseudoconvex Kähler manifolds with Lebesgue measurable gain related to modules at boundary points of the sublevel sets, and establish a concavity property of the minimal $L^2$ integrals. As applications, we present a necessary condition for the concavity degenerating to linearity, a concavity property related to modules at inner points of the sublevel sets, an optimal support function related to the modules, a strong openness property of the modules and a twisted version, an effect…
In this paper we prove a special case of the Lehmer inequality for Drinfeld modules. Also, based on this inequality, we prove certain Mordell-Weil type of theorems for certain infinitely generated fields.
We prove an analog of Siegel's theorem for integral points in the context of Drinfeld modules. The result holds for finitely generated submodules of the additive group over a function field of transcendence dimension 1.
This is the integral text of my thesis. The first part is an expanded version of "Riemann-Roch theorems for Deligne-Mumford stacks", where I deal with Artin stacks over general bases. In the second part, I prove some Riemann-Roch statment for D-modules on Deligne-Mumford stacks, and I also consider the problem of algebraization of analytic stacks.
We establish the principle of specialization of integral dependence for submodules of finite colength of free modules, as part of the general algebraic-geometric theory of the Buchsbaum--Rim multiplicity. Then we apply the principle to the study of equisingularity of ICIS germs, obtaining results for such equisingularity conditions as Whitney's Condition A, Thom's Condition A_f, and Henry, Merle and Sabbah's Condition W_f. Notably, we describe these conditions for analytic families in terms of various numerical invariants, which, for the most part, depend only on the members of a family, not o…
We give a general result of finiteness for holomorphic families of Brieskorn modules constructed from a holomorphic family of one parameter degeneration of compact complex manifolds acquiring (general) singularities.
We define very proper intersections of modules and projective subschemes. It turns out that equidimensional locally Cohen-Macaulay modules intersect very properly if and only if they intersect properly. We prove a Bezout theorem for modules which meet very properly. Furthermore, we show for equidimensional subschemes $X$ and $Y$: If they intersect properly in an arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay subscheme of positive dimension then $X$ and $Y$ are arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay. The module version of this result implies splitting criteria for reflexive sheaves.
In the present article we investigate properties of the category of the integral Grothendieck-Chow motives over a field. We discuss the Krull-Schmidt principle for integral motives, provide a complete list of the generalized Severi-Brauer varieties with indecomposable integral motive, and exploit a relation between the category of motives of twisted flag varieties and integral $p$-adic representations of finite groups.
We prove a generalization of Gotzmann's persistence theorem in the case of modules with constant Hilbert polynomial. As a consequence, we show that the defining equations that give the embedding of a Quot scheme of points into a Grassmannian are given by a single Fitting ideal.
We present the powerful module-intersection integration-by-parts (IBP) method, suitable for multi-loop and multi-scale Feynman integral reduction. Utilizing modern computational algebraic geometry techniques, this new method successfully trims traditional IBP systems dramatically to much simpler integral-relation systems on unitarity cuts. We demonstrate the power of this method by explicitly carrying out the complete analytic reduction of two-loop five-point non-planar hexagon-box integrals, with degree-four numerators, to a basis of $73$ master integrals.
