In this paper, it is proved that, for the truth value algebra of interval-valued fuzzy sets, the distributive laws do not imply the monotonicity condition for the set inclusion operation. Then, a lattice-ordered $t_{r}$-norm, which is not the convolution of $t$-norms on $[0, 1]$, is obtained. These results negatively answer two open problems posed by Walker and Walker in [15].
The results on fuzzy ordered semigroups (or on fuzzy semigroups) can be transferred to fuzzy ordered gamma (or to fuzzy gamma) semigroups. We show the way we pass from fuzzy ordered semigroups to fuzzy ordered gamma semigroups.
We construct rings of typed ordered fuzzy numbers whose component functions are of a common form. As this ring also contains improper fuzzy numbers (OFNs whose membership "functions" are actually just relations), we develop a set of operations to convert an improper fuzzy number to a proper one of the same type.
We characterize the fuzzy left (resp. right) ideals, the fuzzy ideals and the fuzzy prime (resp. semiprime) ideals of an ordered $Γ$-groupoid $M$ in terms of level subsets and we prove that the cartesian product of two fuzzy left (resp. right) ideals of $M$ is a fuzzy left (resp. right) ideal of $M\times M$, and the cartesian product of two fuzzy prime (resp. semiprime) ideals of $M$ is a fuzzy prime (resp. semiprime) ideal of $M\times M$. As a result, if $μ$ and $σ$ are fuzzy left (resp. right) ideals, ideals, fuzzy prime or fuzzy semiprime ideals of $M$, then the nonempty level subsets $(μ\t…
A fuzzy subset $f$ of an ordered semigroup (or semigroup) $S$ is called fuzzy semiprime if $f(x)\ge f(x^2)$ for every $x\in S$ (Definition 1). Following the terminology of semiprime subsets of ordered semigroups (semigroups), the terminology of ideal elements of $poe$-semigroups (: ordered semigroups possessing a greatest element), and the terminology of ordered semigroups, in general, a fuzzy subset $f$ of an ordered semigroups (semigroup) should be called fuzzy semiprime if for every fuzzy subset $g$ of $S$ such that $g^2:=g\circ g\preceq f$, we have $g\preceq f$ (Definition 2). And this is …
This paper serves as an example to show the way we pass from ordered groupoids (ordered semigroups) to ordered hypergroupoids (ordered hypersemigroups), from groupoids (semigroups) to hypergroupoids (hypersemigroups). The results on semigroups (or on ordered semigroup) can be transferred to hypersemigroups (or to ordered hypersemigroups) in the way indicated in the present paper.
Fuzzy anti-norm and corresponding $α$-norms are defined. A few properties of finite dimensional fuzzy anti-normed linear space are studied. Fuzzy $α$-anti-convergence and fuzzy $α$-anti-complete linear space are defined and a few of their properties are studied.
In this study different types of intuitionistic fuzzy continuities (IFCs) and intuitionistic fuzzy boundedness (IFBs) in intuitionistic fuzzy pseudo normed linear spaces are studied. Relations (intra and inter) on intuitionistic fuzzy continuities and intuitionistic fuzzy boundedness are investigated.
In respect of the definition of intuitionistic fuzzy n-norm \cite{Vijayabalaji}, the definition of generalised intuitionistic fuzzy $ψ$ norm (\, in short GIF$ψ$N \,) is introduced over a linear space and there after a few results on generalized intuitionistic fuzzy $ψ$ normed linear space and finite dimensional generalized intuitionistic fuzzy $ψ$ normed linear space have been developed. Lastly, we have introduced the definitions of generalised intuitionistic fuzzy $ψ$ continuity , sequentially intuitionistic fuzzy $ψ$ continuity and it is proved that they are equivalent.
Rosenfeld defined a fuzzy subgroup of group $G$ as a fuzzy subset of $G$ with two special conditions attached\cite{Rosenfeld1971Fuzzysubgroups}. In this paper, we introduce the fuzzy $t$-norms and vague $t$-norms. The unit interval with a $t$-norm or a $t$-conorm is a special monoid, so we mainly talk about fuzzy subsets of monoids and vague monoids. Firstly, we generalize some properties of $t$-norm to fuzzy $t$-subnorm, so that we can analyze and classify the fuzzy $t$-norms. Further, we explore specific research on these properties of the vague $t$-norm. In addition, the concept of lattice …
Following the definition of intuitionistic fuzzy n-norm [ 3 ], we have introduced the definition of intuitionistic fuzzy norm (in short IFN) over a linear space and there after a few results on intuitionistic fuzzy normed linear space and finite dimensional intuitionistic fuzzy normed linear space. Lastly, we have introduced the definitions of intuitionistic fuzzy continuity and sequentially intuitionistic fuzzy continuity and proved that they are equivalen
Based on the closed operational laws in picture fuzzy numbers and strict triangular norms, we extend the Bonferroni mean (BM) operator under the picture fuzzy environment to propose the picture fuzzy interactional Bonferroni mean (PFIBM), picture fuzzy interactional weighted Bonferroni mean (PFIWBM), and picture fuzzy interactional normalized weighted Bonferroni mean (PFINWBM) operators. We prove the monotonicity, idempotency, boundedness, and commutativity for the PFIBM and PFINWBM operators. We also establish a novel multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) method under the picture fuzzy enviro…
We define statistical Cesàro and statistical logarithmic summability methods of sequences in intuitionistic fuzzy normed spaces($IFNS$) and give slowly oscillating type and Hardy type Tauberian conditions under which statistical Cesàro summability and statistical logarithmic summability imply convergence in $IFNS$. Besides, we obtain analogous results for the higher order summability methods as corollaries. Also, two theorems concerning the convergence of statically convergent sequences in $IFNS$ are proved in the paper.
On the basis of the concept of the interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets introduced by K.Atanassov, the notion of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy $H_v$-submodules of an $H_v$-module with respect to $t$-norm $T$ and $s$-norm $S$ is given and the characteristic properties are described. The homomorphic image and the inverse image are investigated. In particular, the connections between interval valued intuitionistic $(S,T)$-fuzzy $H_v$-submodules and interval valued intuitionistic $(S,T)$-fuzzy submodules are discussed.
This paper proves that a binary operation ${\star}$ on ${[0, 1]}$, ensuring that the binary operation ${\curlywedge}$ is a ${t}$-norm or ${\curlyvee}$ is a ${t}$-conorm, is a ${t}$-norm, where ${\curlywedge}$ and ${\curlyvee}$ are special convolution operations defined by $${(f\curlywedge g)(x)=\sup\left\{f(y)\star g(z): y\vartriangle z=x\right\},} $$ $${(f\curlyvee g)(x)=\sup\left\{f(y)\star g(z): y\ \triangledown\ z=x\right\},} $$ for any ${f, g\in Map([0, 1], [0, 1])}$, where ${\vartriangle}$ and ${\triangledown}$ are a continuous ${t}$-norm and a continuous ${t}$-conorm on ${[0, 1]}$, answ…
In this paper, we present the fuzzy monoids and vague monoids by using aggregation operators. The unit interval with a $t$-norm or a $t$-conorm is a special monoid, so we mainly talk about fuzzy subsets of monoids. Firstly, the classification of fuzzy sets based on some special aggregation operators is discussed. At the same time, we give two basic propositions about submonoids of $t$-norm and $t$-conorm. The fuzzification by uninorm and nullnorm are denoted and some properties can be drawn. Next, we briefly present fuzzy subsets on lattice. Finally, the vague monoids on aggregation operators …
A characterization of flat ideals in the unit interval with the canonical fuzzy order is obtained with the help of the ordinal sum decomposition of continuous t-norms. This characterization will be useful in the study of topological and domain theoretic properties of fuzzy orders.
In this study we follow a new framework for the theory that offers us, other than traditional, a new angle to observe and investigate some relations between finite sets, F-lattice L and their elements. The theory is based on the Fuzzy Linear Spaces (FLS) S=(N,D). In this case, to operate on these spaces the necessary preliminaries, concepts and operations in lattices relative to FLS are introduced. Some definitions, such that k-fuzzy point, k-fuzzy line are given. Then we correspond these definitions to the definitions in usually linear spaces. We investigate some combinatorics properties of F…
In this paper, an optimization model with a linear objective function subjected to a system of fuzzy relation equations (FRE) is studied where the feasible region is defined by the Dombi t-norm. Dombi family of t-norms includes a parametric family of continuous strict t-norms, whose members are increasing functions of the parameter. This family of t-norms covers the whole spectrum of t-norms when the parameter is changed from zero to infinity. Since the feasible solutions set of FREs is non-convex and the finding of all minimal solutions is an NP-hard problem, designing an efficient solution p…

Being a pair of dual concepts, the normalized distance and similarity measures are very important tools for decision-making and pattern recognition under intuitionistic fuzzy sets framework. To be more effective for decision-making and pattern recognition applications, a good normalized distance measure should ensure that its dual similarity measure satisfies the axiomatic definition. In this paper, we first construct some examples to illustrate that the dual similarity measures of two nonlinear distance measures introduced in [A distance measure for intuitionistic fuzzy sets and its applicati…
In this paper, we have our discussions on normal and upper semi-continuous fuzzy sets on metric spaces. The Skorokhod-type metric is stronger than the Skorokhod metric. It is found that the Skorokhod metric and the Skorokhod-type metric are equivalent on compact fuzzy sets. However, the Skorokhod metric and the Skorokhod-type metric need not be equivalent on $L_p$-integrable fuzzy sets. Based on this, we investigate relations between these two metrics and the $L_p$-type $d_p$ metric. It is found that the relations can be divided into three cases. On compact fuzzy sets, the Skorokhod metric is …
